Since Gorya has known Thyme: 1) He gave her a red card which led to her almost being sexually assaulted (only…
Look, I'm not condoning the Thyme who wasn't in love with Gorya. Also most of the things that happened where out of his controll. We can't blame him for the actions of others, it would be crazy to say it was his fault why his mother did all those things to her.

The fact that he keeps fighting against his mother. A woman he feared for so long and is only starting to gain courage. It's like his sacrifices are smaller than Gorya when they aren't, he is trying to be a better version of his moulded self.

I hate this thing of always judging a person based on their past (especially in dramas) when the character has shown massive character development. If the things he listed is reason enough for Gorya to not trust him and be patient for him then they are better off without one another. Their story line was supposed to start of rocky, Thyme is supposed to be this guy we all hate at the begining but grow to love and understand as the story progresses. He is TRYIN, trying to fit into her world. He literally moved from his luxury home to stay with her in a house infested with roaches. She isn't the only one losing things and she isn't the only one who is "exhausted".

Not once has she ever given Thyme the benefit of a doubt. Not once has she said, let me trust that the man I have know Thyme to be will continue to do the right thing. He asked her to be patient and she only lasted a couple of days before waving her white flag.
Maybe the reason why Thyme hasn't told her the plan is because he is scared he might lose her because his plan isn't as solid as he would like it to be. He is leaning on faith, holding on to hope that things will work out in the end. That he will win over his mother.

Can she for once just trust Thyme for than 72 hours? That's all I am asking for, can she want to be with him as much as he wants to be with her? Her insecurities are showing and it's not fair that Thyme is taking those hits.

Do you know Maslow's Heirarchy of Needs? Gorya is at the bottom of the pyramid, focusing on physical needs and…
Don't agree with this one. Thyme is willing to let his mother ruin his life. He just wants to be with Gorya. The way I see it is that Thyme asked for patience because he is trying to build defenses after the old man died. Be a man who can be worthy of someone like Gorya. Someone who can protect her against his mom.

But Gorya has never given him the benefit of a doubt. She most of the time sees the worst in him(and I get it)but Thyme has proven her wrong most of the time.

She is selfish and only cares about herself. It doesn't matter that Thyme is getting hurt or betrayed by her. She has massive insecurities with her status in the world. I wish Thyme could move on atp

To be honest I see both sides of the story. I understand where Gorya is coming from and I understand where Thyme is coming from. However if I had to choose a side, I would choose Thyme's.

In most cases in stories like this, people like Gorya end up becoming the mistress and people like Thyme get married to people like Lita and they have kids and live thier lives in luxury. Thyme would make the promise that things will be okay and they will be together, which never happens. However, the reason why I am on Thyme's side is because I believe something like this is more likely to happen if both sides don't give up when it is time to give up.

Gorya gave up too soon, she didn't fight hard enough for him the way he fought to them in this episode. She has these short bursts of courage (such as in the previous ep when she told Thyme's mother that her relationships are her choice) but at the end of the day she goes back to her feelings of worthlessness. She is not the only one having a tough time, Thyme is going against his mother to be with her and her heart isn't as strong as Thyme's is at the moment especially when it comes to their relationship.

Gorya wants to protect herself, I get that and there's nothing wrong with that. But the person who seems to be taking a bigger risk is Thyme, his demon of a mother holds his life in her hands and he is willing to allow her to wrack it. If Gorya fought in this episode and gave up later I would have been more happier because by then she would always have that feeling of she did all that she could and still nothing worked out. Both parties can then move on with their lives.

Just for once can she trust Thyme, can Thyme just for once get to fix things? Can she be patient and trust, hope and pray that the man she loves would come through for her? Just for a bit can she let Thyme handle this, if he can't(let's say he ends up having to marry Lita) then she can end things. She is only protecting herself.

Just fight for your love until you can't anymore. She literally gave up in level two of her against Thyme's mom. Thyme is just as desperate, he wants things to work out between them and the fight has literally just begun and yet Gorya gave up so soon.

I know a lot of you won't agree with me, but this is how I feel atm. They are fighting a war but Gorya seems to be aiming most of her weapons at herself.

Hello! I haven't seen the Boys over Flowers korean one yet nor this one or the other adaptations. Is one better…
I hated the Korean version of BOF, couldn't even finish it. Gorya is much strong willed than her other versions.

You can watch the korean version, you might like it. It wasn't my cup of coffee though

I actually enjoyed season 2, I am honestly sad that Hyunjun won't be coming back. I missed him throughout the whole season.

The 1st season focused on Yoo Han and Yeon Woo's relationship(not that it was a bad thing, I actually liked it) and little on Yeon Woo's mom and the world of mono and probe. Instead it left us with a lot of questions, which honestly was a good marketing strategy because it made you look forward to the second season.

Season 2 was perfect, and the opposite of the first season. This time they focused more on Yeon Woo's mom, and we got to understand where Mono's were coming from and the hate society has for them. Most of the questions we had from season 1 were answered and it made me happy.
Se Hyun was a breath of fresh air, I could see pieces of Yoo Han in him. Such as being over protective and the need to have Yeon Woo close to him, Yoo Han however is more tsundere than Se Hyun who is to be feared but is more of a teddy bear.
I am still team Yoo Han and Yeon Woo and I am glad the directors didn't just end their relationship. Season 2 wasn't as bl and season 1 and I loved it.

Yeon Woo and Se Hyun have a great friendship energy and I hope it stays that way. They don't have to end up together for me, I like their friendship even though Se Hyun wishes it wasn't.

Curious to seeing who will be casted as the new Yoo Han. Curious to see how they will explain the last post credit of episode 8. Season 3 let's go.

I think if Ren hadn't left for France, they would have had a chance. The biggest mistake Ren(like his other versions) ever made was leaving for France. By the time he comes back Gorya would have fallen for Thyme. At least Ren would have gotten the closure he needs, and he can finally let go of Mira but he would also have to let go of Gorya.

The reason why Gorya would fall for Thyme is because she finally sees past his arrogance and cold heartedness. I'm seeing people saying that their stories(Ren, Thyme and Gorya) doesn't make sense. I think it does, love waits for no one, and it is unpredictable as well. It makes sense why Gorya falls for Thyme because in the end she spent more time with him than she did with Ren. You're more likey to befriend someone you interact with everyday than someone you interacted with for 3 months but they then suddenly moved to another country, no contact at all after.

And let's be honest, the Thyme we have seen from ep3 till now is a darn soft ball. Who wouldn't like him after that? I just wanna pinch his cheeks man.
I love that Gorya made him wait in the rain, a little payback for the things he has done.

I'm really enjoying the Thai version of Boys Over Flowers. I only lasted 'til episode 6 of the Korean one before dropping it. This is doing justice for all of Gorya's versions, I wish they were all like her.

I don't know about y'all but that was attempted murder. You want to tell me that the person on the scooter didn't see Neung on the surf board? NGL, that seen was very much unexpected, the way I gasped!! Once I was over the shock however, I might have let out a laugh or two because, wow it really was so sudden. From 0 to a 100.

I really like Phap, he was being a kid in this episode and I think the reason why I'm letting it slide is because Nueng and them liked it. I laughed at the hanging man part, it was all in good fun. Just a jealous person doing jealous person things, and this was really cute compared to how jealousy has been shown in previous BLs. Give my boy a break, I get why he's jealous. Though Maze and Nueng are brothers, the way they showing their relationship is hella sus. That's just me and my opinion though

Actually enjoyed the first episode, loved the bit where Saen was brsve enough to stand up and basically admit infront of everyone that he likes Aii. That was super adorable and it had my heart moonwalking.

The person who played the host (with the blueish wig) killed me when they came down with basically a thread. I laughed for a hot minute ngl but I liked them as well. What a breath of fresh air their role was.

Loving the main couple so far, Lovely Writer vibes because of the childhood thing. Looking forward to the next episodes

I just wanna add...I do not like the coach, guy doesn't know good sportmenship imo. L

Not sure if that was Thyme or Bright broke out of character but either way mans was smiling (probably squealing too) after that accidental kiss. This is how Cinderella ran off at 12 midnight lmfao, mwahahaahahaha.

Gosh, Ren has stolen my heart. Him and Mira actually stole my heart. I just love them *screams in falsetto*, just wow!

Bright is doing a good job in making me hate Thyme, damn, I couldn't last past episode 5 for the Korean one but the Thai one is more tolerable. I mean a lot of what happened in this episode and the previous one made me angry but not as angry you know?

Gorya's best friend was also my highlight for this episode, when she told Kevin that they act as though they are taking care of Gorya when in fact they aren't was a standing ovation for me. Talk about a moving statue that is still a statue imo, yelling "ey Thyme" is not having her back bro.

Cannot wait for the next episode, looks as though it's gonne be one big emotional rollercoaster

Bruh, the country I live in always has gun violence. You're disagreeing with someone and boom, guy just pulls out a gun. The only thing that pissed me off about the gun thing was the Police. I swear I almost cried when they blamed everything on Pat. My brain was struggling to remain conscious because...how?!?! Just how?!?!?

Wai...I'm sorry but why did he get off scott free? He calls himself Pran's bestfriend and then pulled such a stunt. He made me so angry when he basically said: If you had told me then it would be up to me whether I accept yall or not...
I mean! SIR! EXCUSE ME SIR! Even if he told you, I highly doubt he would have accepted them.

Pat's friends had me for a second! I felt so bad after I cussed at them and it turns out they were cool with it. They were my biggest plot twist ngl, now that's what I call a best friend.

The "energy" scene was so cute and funny, I'm convinced that was improv. Overall I loved the episode even though most of the time it had my in my emotions

I may be asking for too much but I am hoping that it isn't as toxic as the Korean one(I haven't watched from other countries). The only reason I'm watching is because it has Bright and Win and I love them a lot lot!

18/12/2021 let's go!

Well, I for one found the episode entertaining. Though I enjoyed the episode I will not lie and say I didn't find both characters problematic. The only reasons why I am sticking around is because this is the first episode and things might get better for the leads. Secondly, this is Japan, they have never failed me when it comes to BLs and may they not start now.

Also, I read some of the comments and I for one agree with the people who say Hira is being bullied. The teacher didn't even do much for him when he tried to introduce himself which was an L moment.

I don't want to delve into the leads much because a lot of yall have covered it. The third reason I'm willing to watch is because, I'm gonna watch it as a teenager getting his sexual awaking, and he therefore doesn't understand what to do about it.

My humour is so broken, I almost had a heart attack just because the soldier dude referred to them as maggots lmao. I started seeing stars ngl, even as I type this I am giggling and my eyes are teary.

I am in love with this series, such a breath of fresh air. I started watching Happiness so Keita Hatsukoi brings me back to the world of relaxation.

Aoki's confession is how I would do it too, run, hide and confess in hopes they heard me lmao. Hashimoto and Aoki are literally one person, just one is a girl and the other a boy. I died when Hashimoto said she won't take advice from a loser like Aoki. I felt that in my left kidney lmao, she did him dirty.

The acting isn't too over the top and cringy and the comedy is solid gold in my books. Once again Japan hasn't failed me yet ito BLs.

Parents hating on a kid...that's some L business right there.

Other than the parents being distasteful, I so far am in love with this series. Comedy on point, drama on point, and the acting!! Don't get me started on the acting because it's so damn amazing. It's been a hot minute since I've seen such great acting from a BL especially from Thailand.

I have grown a massive liking for Nanon, what a breath of fresh air. I didn't think I was going to like him but boy did he punch through my heart. I loved the roof top scene, when he realized that Pat was the mysterious neighbour. Priceless, those facial expressions lmao.

Also I just want to say that of all the bIs I have seen Drake act in, this by far is the best I have seen from him. He had me laughing so hard, the scene where he basically instigates the fight after Pran and Pat had tried so hard to call a truce. Almost burst a kidney from how hard I laughed. A great job from him so far.

I cannot wait for the next episode, my initial plan was to wait for the episodes to come out but work was a drag today and I need to self care. Not sure if this was a good idea because while the first 2 episodes brought me so much serotonin; I now have to wait 5 years for the next episode.

Sigh...

Think Laura is using Do Gun for his receipes? Get him to cook his final best dish, claim ownership over it before firing him? Since he works under her she has rights over that and the new chef will take over from there.

Not one of the bests BLs SK has ever made in my opinion, and it's not because the episodes are 13 minutes long. Even if the drama is 13 minutes long the flow of things could have been done better still. Enemies to lovers is one of my favourites but this was not executed well in my opinion.

Anyways South Korea could be on top of the leader board if they gave their BLs more of a plot. China would be ultimate if it wasn't for the sensoring so for me Japan is hitting all the right spots, they have never dissapointed me.
