I won't lie to you - the present day plot is very boring and the romance plot is going nowhere at this point? I feel the general lovers her in the present day, but she doesn't seem to care so much about him and only started to notice him after the reincarnation was revealed.
On the other hand, I totally love the historical part of the drama and I truly believe, if it was pure historical drama, it would totally be a hit. I literally only skip the episodes to get to the historical parts.

I didn't personally understand the sleeping around thing of Babe, but the smell was explained. His senses are the best, so he can smell even the slightest little things on others, so that's why he hates all alpha smells in general.
He chose not to sleep with sigmas and enigmas on purpose, which is going to be hopefully explained later in series.
And Charlie is indeed an alpha, but he also has special powers, which are directly connected to him not smelling stinky to Babe :)
