Absolutely stunning movie. Acting was amazing, action scenes were breathtaking and storytelling was splending. It is a short movie, but it goes straight to the point without sugar-coating. Some might argue that it lacks depth, but for me it didn't. It simply gave viewers the power to fill in those blanks in main lead's relationship. This also showed another version of grief, which I personally loved.
It's sad that the good players got eliminated like....urghhh. It ticks me off when weak players keep staying there, and good players go home. It ain't fair. And I think D was crying for this same reason when they were packing. It's freaking unfair.
She is usually a very good critic, but her opinion on this was way of for me...
Bloggers and my idols? Never, but I am not very ''skilled'' in Chinese dramaland so when I am in need of quality dramas, I go to her channel and usually her reviews match mine in certain dramas.
I loved the prequel because of the strong romantic base, and from the trailers, this looks like it's gonna focus more on the superpower side.... Yikes, I guess for romantic soul like myself.
Truly hearbreaking, but also it gave me warmth? I didn't cry even though I would have in normal situation. It ended as I expected and honestly, I would love to see continuation of Oumi's story. Will he be able to find his new ''first place'' or stay stuck in the past like one teacher from the said drama.
And it's a heavy bromanceeeee. I love that director Guo is trying to put LGBT characters in his work despite the ban from China. Wuliang and Ying-Yan master are great examples :)
I'm really disappointed with the marketing of this drama. From having only one trailer for so long until the day…
If the product is great, it doesn't need huge promotion to get famous. Many books started as self-published, but later on got purchased by big companies and republished because how famous they got. This drama got EXTREMELY famous even without super big promotion and that just clearly speaks how amazing this drama is.
I am waiting for it to finish airing! Wanted to know how is the romance? Is it too angsty? (I donβt mind angst…
Since the plot is basically about a spy getting herself to enemy clan via marriage, this drama's base is for me definitely romantic. It is well balanced romance AND spy/mystery drama. We have like 3 known couples as of now.
One couple's romance is funny Second couple's romance is very dark and kinda enemies-to-lovers trope Third couple's romance is deep and romantic

I am crushing so hard....
Is this ''marry me, senpai'' moment, ehm?
Fighting!
