OMG I THINK I GHOST WROTE THIS ARTICLE THIS IS LITERLEY HOW I FEEL. THE ONLY DRAMA THAT GIVE ME ALL THE FEELS…
U are my One spring night soulmate T.T It was SO good and I marathoned it and than I marathoned it with my mom and we both fell in love. Like it is so realistic that it's sad that people who kinda don't really understand Korean culture cannot see it :/
U have to look at a very important aspect which is the year the good oldies were made in. The dramaworld is evolving and sometimes not in a good way, that's how I explain the ''slump'' I am having. I absolutely LOVE the old tropes so when I see lack of them in new dramas it often pulls me away from the drama. It's not like I am not into new stuff but the new content should be like really good! U mentioned Healer, right? THAT drama was so so good like perfect balance of romance and action absolutely 50/50 and I cannot find a similiar drama to it and that's what makes me furious. We can have 200 dramas with first kisses happening in rain but not 50/50 action/romance dramas and that's just example.
The problem I also have with the new dramas is the portrait of relationships? I feel that in the past they were more family centric (marriage+kids) but now such ending is hard to see. Yeah, others can disagree with me on this point bcs someone doesn't want to marry or have kids but I like it and I get freaking sad when dramas these days do not show the for me happy ever after.
The drama that I fell in love with this year and marathoned ( YES, it was only ONE drama) is One spring night.
If u saw the final than u know that she will try to compete in another competition next year to get a wish from the unicorn
I mean that would be dope!
Like October is the MOST active BL month :D as a subber I am conflicted cause I got all of them in my plans!
The preview showed us that next week we will AGAIN get a special BTS episode only....
