For me Knight Flower's ending wasnt a win tho.I was mad mad when I saw it =/
Since the action part of the drama was totally boring to me, the part that kept me half going was the romance. I love slowburn, but that ending was total romance killer. They simped for 12 episodes and they couldnt give their romance a proper ending.
I've been wondering all the time if no one misses Kang Hee so in town. I mean, most of the time she's dressed…
Hm, not really? Back than yangban women were treated like diamonds. They were not allowed to just walk outside. If they were permitted, they had to cover their face, and go out only within "women hour" :)
I still don't understand what kind of role Lady Oh has. Is she Lee In's wife? How did that happen? Then why should…
Which lady Oh?
As for sanggung Dong, basically Yi In needs a heir and sincr he keeps refusing his queen and concubines, they are trying to push Dong sanggung into his bed.
Joseon allowed men to have multiple wives, so him having queen or concubines is not a stop sign for marrying female lead as well :)
As a relative newcomer to kdramas (2019/2020) in my eyes it's kinda like there are two kdrama eras: pre ca. 2016-2017…
PS - I miss those subbers as well. Back than I didn't know how good they were, but now, since I learned Korean wow, the quality of nowadays subs is teeeeerrible.

Like, if I were to compare the dramas by decades wow....the list would be indeeeeeeeed very long. I can't decide if the change is good or not, because everything has it's positives and negatives. One thing I can say is, that back than the dramas had more ''makjang'' style I guess? Evil mothers in law, water slaps, aegyo, or deep cultural characterization, also more evident hate-to-love trope? These are the first ones that come to my mind. It got to the point where I feel there is surely a gap between the old watchers and young watchers. I doubt that young watchers would enjoy sth like Secret Garden maybe or Boys Over Flowers. I love them still veeeeery much, but can see why they would fail in eyes of new watchers.

Hmmm, nowadays I don't see them anymore, since TV rips are hard to find (at least i couldnt). Check out King 2 Hearts (any episode). It has cute cannon 15 >.< I am thinking about the blue balloon, but can't suddenly think of a drama with it urghhhh.
Absolutely amazing survival show! If I was a bit smarter in math I would enjoy solving the questions with them, but damn, they are all on another level. Since the beginning SNU were my fav team, like, some would call them snobbish, but look at their knowledge, okay? They have the right to boast, because I could neverrrrrrr accomplish what they have done.
The only complaint I have that all games were heavily math related, even when some weren't at first glance. In the end, teachers were right - math is everything around us.
Nah, I feel it's normal.I understand it because I study it, but my mom for example is also veeeeery lost in terms…
It's very rare, but yeah, some countries have it. Other than that you also can have Korean Economics only, but I suck at economics, so yeah haha. In the beginning, there were usually only Korean courses, but as years pass, some unis slowly specialize the major more, so kiiinda double major? Majority still choose only basic Korean course, but since I always loved the Korean history I went with it and couldn't be more happy. It's hella hard - hanja and all the shenigans - but it's a major I truly enjoy doing, unlike my other degree which is so-so.

Hmmm I totally get your point. Now that I think about it very hard, I think for me personally the difference is mainly seen with 2005 and 2010 dramas. I started watching dramas at around 2005 so I basically watched how the dramaland has changed, but I feel 2009/2010 major changes happened :)
Btw it is kinda sad to see that yall missed the good old age restriction cute message before dramas aired. It was usually the blue balloon, idk if anyone here remembers it.
Is it possible that the poison is something that only affects men?
Phuuuuuu, not that I know of? As I said, we didn't cover herbal medicine at uni so idk about this like at all. My expertise in terms of medicine is the best only within neonatal care T.T

Since I am a grandma at dramaland age I could see everythingggg and some changes are sad...BUT that's why we have rewatch parties!
Nope, the King 2 Hearts is cute cannon, the balloon one is different.
FOUND IT! https://youtu.be/AbU9ksO92QQ It's from SBS
