please tell me about your life choices 😂😂 1988 is the best of them
It is fine to dislike it :) Many ppl feel that way! As I said it all comes to our perception of it. I think only Reply 1997 was heavy on the "search for husband" game and than it slowly went to background which was apparent in Reply 1988. This is simply a heavy family drama so if someone isnt into that, they it might be veeeery boring :)
Very enjoyable article I loved the Reply Series. Sometimes I think it depends on which one you watched first :)…
You are so right! The order of watch also changes things a bit! I started with Reply 1997 and loved it, but than Reply 1994 dropped and I didnt like it much, but than Reply 1988 dropped and I binged it!
Just like you, it reminded me of my parents and old aunties talking outside. I remember how I complained to my mom to "keep going already" when she stopped a neighbour on our walk from market to have a quick chat! Hahaha.
Okay I'm going to admit, I haven't seen any of them. Which is the best?
It doesnt matter where you start since each drama has new family and new characters. If you want something more romance focused maybe try Reply 1997 and if you want sth more family focused than Reply 1988 :)
Happy watching and thanks for giving this article a chance! ❤️
I haven't watched them yet, mostly because "family" is a bit of a sore spot for me, I was a child in the 80s and…
I am happy that you found the article appealing! Also, I am sorry that family is your sore spot, but trust me, you are not alone. My mom for example couldnt finish any of the Reply series because it reminds her of the sad past. As I said this series is loved, but also disliked at the same time :)
Finally amazing thinking!
I wish I could find a stream so I could translate it for yall T.T
Like, they would know....

What made you enjoy Reply 1997? What was the magic? :)
It's fine to spoil me ;)
