Okay, this is a great show if you are currently sick and have to stay home. If you drift in and out of focus, you can follow along easily, and it's really repetitive, so if you miss an entire episode for a nap you don't have to search where you drifted off. But it's overall sweet and full of positive feelings to the end, chemistry is good, and side-stories are cute too.
So, what is with the name? I don't have time to watch, but why would it have asterisks in the name, essentially making it "Shitting Stars" on a quick glance. Double entendre? On purpose?
they're all different. All of them are about something but it's up to you to decide about what. It's not rammed…
I am sure some of them are about something, but they are shallow, if aesthetically beautiful and it just leaves me feeling like I just drank air. Often I think the director was too much into cinematography and too little into storytelling. As I said, I do watch them, but I still wish they came with a warning: "Don't wait for something profound, this is just a nice walk through a puddle on a hot summers day."
"If you like Indie movies about... Nothing." just made me snort coffee into my nose. I am not sure I do like them, but I keep watching them for some reason? It's only in the end that I always realise, they were in fact, about nothing. Wish they all came with a warning like this.
I now employ skip and hop. If a drama isn't horrible, but terribly boring in the middle, I skip and skip ahead or I hop on over to YT for the Highlight reel. I put them on the watched list, if I think I got enough of the plot, but don't write reviews.
I don't put things on hold, they just linger in my Currently Watching list, silently judging me when I put a new drama in there.. They wait for me to be in the mood.
why y'all minds always on the untamed whenever there is a danmei adaptation, like bro danmei is a whole-ass genre…
I personally don't seek out BL dramas, I stumbled upon WOH, because a YouTuber hyped it. So to me The Untamed and WOH aren't BL, but like "subversive BL", so a genre on its own.
Love reading your reviews, however, I must disagree with your opinion about the 'restricted time space' for such…
I felt the same way. Their chemistry wasn't good, he had more chemistry with the junior photographer. It might have worked better if it had been a movie...
I am really not into the love triangles. I know they are added for tension, but come on, we all know who they will end up with. I would prefer them using this airtime to build up the characters more. Because sometimes apart from one being rich and handsome, and the other being clumsy and poor, they have no story. The best C-Drama, that really gets on without a single trope is Dear Missy, so much friendship too. Also, thanks for reminding me of Love Equations, which is also up there in my top picks.
Just checked your list and found that your worst rated drama is "Master's Sun", well bro, guess what? Same here,…
I love this. I didn't even realise that Master's Sun was my lowest rated drama, because I have seen worse and just straight up dropped them. *coughBoysoverFlowerscough* And yes Fluff is Life. Any recommendations? Have you seen Sweet Teeth, that's my recent fluff discovery.

Finally, a good editorial after so many days of news. Loved it, if I could, I would have sent it so many likes…
Hena hena probably means It is, it is, or Right? in Hindi, Jalebi is an Indian sweet made out of deep fried sugar/starch mix. Its usually a twisted circle. Very tasty.
How dare you rate Suki na Hito ga Iru Koto that low? I mean you are right about some things... But... But... It's a beachside drama and unless it is full on bad, I cannot rate beachside dramas low. Its a malfunction in my brain. Drama: 5 points, Beachside? +3 points automatically added.
Makes me curious what you both would say about my highest and lowest rated Dramas...
Why does Lee Jong Suk always have to do these prosecuter/lawyer type roles? I love his acting and would be a fan, but I just can't watch these dramas without getting anxiety.
I totally forgot that I wanted to watch "The Light in your Eyes", thanks for the reminder! I actually liked him in "Moon Lovers", he brought his Pisces charm to the artist role. But it was one of the first dramas I had seen, I was so intrigued by his portrayal of a very feminine looking, soft spoken man, I may be biased.
Sooo... Will there be juicy romance in this or is it more of a detective show with romance side plot? (I am on…
I already looked up kissing scenes on YouTube, because I don't feel the chemistry between them at all and I thought maybe they are good actors and they develop it later. But there aren't any... Are there any chemistry scenes so far?
Sooo... Will there be juicy romance in this or is it more of a detective show with romance side plot? (I am on Episode 5, but feel free to spoiler me.)
