Also there is a sina article about this drama, as they write it is was supported in many stages of its production with modern AI technology. The article can be found here https://news.sina.com.cn/shangxunfushen/2025-01-24/detail-inefzsee7347473.shtml

FL is Leng Ba, she has no entry on MDL, her picture and name can be found here https://baike.baidu.com/item/%E6%B5%AE%E6%A2%A6%E5%90%9F/65330503

I searched on baidu and posted two comments about it.

"Su's father, Su Yaotian, was obsessed with power and designed to kill Fu Sheng's parents. Later, in order to quell the war between the two sects, Su Mengyan was forcibly married to Lengyue Sect as a hostage for a truce, and forced to steal the Lengyue Sect's sacred object "Lenglingzhu". Before getting married, Su Mengyan was sealed with all her memories related to Fu Sheng and mistakenly believed that Fu Sheng had caused her brother to be seriously ill. Fu Sheng, who was deeply hurt by the loss of his loved ones, mistakenly believed that she had betrayed his former deep affection and pointed the spearhead of hatred directly at Su Mengyan. On the night of the wedding, the two met again, one was ignorant and resentful, and the other was full of hatred. Facing Su Mengyan, who had forgotten everything, Fu Sheng vented his emotions with an almost crazy kiss on her neck. Love and hate, resentment and longing were all entangled in this kiss. A thrilling love-hate relationship began."

Hi! I don't know how it is usually done, but I searched via Baidu and found this. I translated it with google translate from simplified chinese:" The story of "Floating Dream Song" drags the audience into a vortex of Jianghu full of grievances and hatreds at the beginning. Su Mengyan, the daughter of the head of Liuying Sect, and Fu Sheng, the young master of Lengyue Sect, were originally a match made in heaven, but they were trapped in the quagmire of fate due to the disputes between the two sects." In my following spoiler-full comment, there is the rest of the plot, I guess? Sadly the baidu site gives the whole plot out?

Hi Soocrafty! I love how you defend and explain this gem of a drama. I started with hope and stuck to it as it is really a good drama! But it needs people like you to get people to watch it! 💐

Yes! To see all of them again, happy and together was good for my heart!

Finally I was able to watch some of the episodes again. And it felt so right like being with them again. Still coming here nearly every day and reading the comments and enjoying new tidbits posted mostly by Stellovet our grandmaster of media research! 😉❤️ Even silent for most of the time I'm with my roomates camping in the demon-hunting bureau.🕯️🕯️🕯️⛺️🎋

I'm so glad you wrote this!

After five episodes, I think Under the Moonlight is an engaging costume drama that I can recommend to watch. So far, it's not about romance, but about solving cases, and the FL is a fascinating character trying to prove her worth by solving cases for the district judge. The following episodes will have to show, if the cases are strong enough to hold my interest.

Hi and thank you for your answer. I watched only episode 1 and it was so bad written in my opinion that I asked myself if I should watch it any further. Now after your answer I will give it a second chance. ;-)

I really liked the drama. The ending also disappointed me. But I can't agree with all the criticism of the female lead. Shen Xi was a very demanding character. And Ko Chia Yen delivered an excellent performance. In my opinion, she portrayed the character with all her struggles and desires in a lifelike way. There are very few such characters in C-dramaland. And in contrast to all these dramas with childish or too perfect female characters, I'm glad that Shen Xi exists.

I liked the Main Lead Zhai Zi Lu in "We go fast on Trust" very much. So I'm hoping, that his role here is well written.

Is anyone watching it?

Ah, I see! ;-) Yesterday I had the impression that you wanted to talk about the drama, but I wasn't sure. Now, after your answers, I'm glad I answered you.
