Okay, I watched 9 Episodes and the uniqueness isn't gone. I don't care for some troublesome parts with the crazy tormenting doctor but overall this drama keeps me curious about the story.

The Subtitles are good. The story, acting and quality of this drama ist good.
And I did not expect this ironic description of the local politics in every days live of that time.
I hope this drama keeps up on this route and recommend it strongly even after one episode.

No, you have to watch the anime if you like to continue the story.

Yes! Many people complained about the costumes in the first episodes. But that's kind of superficial. The whole drama get's better and is very worth your time if you like the story.
