Hi, I'm 6 episodes in and it's good. The FL is a clever one and well portrayed by Chen Si Che. There is also a battle of wits between her and the crown prince that's sometimes funny and sometimes interesting. If you like shorter dramas and don't mind already well worn plots,try it!

to see the old husband hit his unfaithful wife, who was already lying helpless on the ground, with a stick with full force on the head in the middle of the family circle until she was dead. There was no brain matter coming out but the camera angle was set up so you could see the stick hitting her head several times.

Yes and somehow the violence as it is shown here struck to deep. I would expect this in some kind of Hollywood movies but was surprised to find it in a c-drama. Especially with the fairy tale vibes in contrast I was very shocked...
