Yes, ML is jealous, possessive and insecure, but who wouldn't be with a wife like FL who always run off with SML? I think ML has lots of restraints when it comes to SML and FL together. SML openly challenged ML with regards to FL and yet ML saves and let go of SML several times.

Yeah I saw that trailer. Didn't understand anything since it was not subbed but by the comments, I can tell that she's into saving SML again. OMG Beichen just needs to let her go die with that SML. This is honestly the first time that I don't care for a happy ending with the main couple. I think I'll be fine either way

At this point, I have decided that a sad ending wouldn't be too bad. I really don't care anymore if they're not together at the end as long as ML doesn't have to deal with a crappy wife again. I'm gonna start watching again since i don't care about a sad ending

For me though, I think ML had a reason to believe that she betrayed him. From his perspective, she lied to him, ran off with SML, and lived with SML for a period of time. ML believed they didn't sleep together during her mourning and then she's pregnant and the timeline coincided with her escapade with SML. I mean anyone in their right mind would have doubts. FL then made it worse by confirming his doubts in a fit of spite. FL has never done anything to earn his trust as she's always defending and protecting SML.

You are really tempting me to keep on watching 😊! (currently on a hiatus to wait for spoilers about ending) Of course I want them to have a happy ending but at this point I think I would be fine with an ending where Beichen dies and FL has regrets and has to live with them for the rest of her life after realizing how much ML loved her. What I don't want to happen is for FL to die because I don't want to see ML suffer his whole life (let's face it, he could never move on from FL)

Didn't see that scene. That woman is just unbelievable! Is it in an aired episode? I have been staying away and have not watched beyond ep 30. I'm trying to wait for what kind of ending it gets, but not sure I can resist until next Tuesday. From the snippets I saw, I don't know if I can bear watching Beichen's misery😢

The worst part for me is that she claims to love ML and she has these big talks about how much she values trust. However, trust is earned and she has absolutely done nothing to earn his trust as she's always running to SML.

On the other hand ML has done a lot for her and still she has not given him her trust. He helped get her father out of jail, disobeying his own father's order and being punished for it, yet she'd rather believe a stranger that ML forcefully kept her father from her. She saw ML making a toy for her unborn baby, yet she thinks he's responsible for her miscarriage.

Come on, the guy was willing to accept a child he thinks (and she confirmed) is not his because he loves her, and she still blames him for everything that has gone wrong.

You know I actually have an inkling that he's not dead. It's always like that when they can't find a body. The fact that Beichen mentioned not being able to find his body makes me think he's still alive

It was never said but I guess she's his half-sister from a different mother. I think it was mentioned that Aunt Qi was the commander's 7th wife. The twin brothers are probably Aunt Qi's kids

Same here! I have a love/hate relationship with the angst.

ML did use his status to get the upper hand on SML, but let's not forget that SML tried to do the same thing when he was Warlord's godson. SML was setting traps to make the warlord think that ML plans to kill him. ML has saved and let SML go several times for FL's sake. He had no intention of killing SML off during their last encounter and SML only died because he couldn't take ML winning again. I guess to each their own, but I definitely would think twice about helping a male friend (who is in this dire situation of his own making) if that action might bring danger to my husband and family. At the very least, i would consult my husband.

Oh no doubt that she has helped him! I think what irks most viewers (including myself) is the facts that she talks about trust and not lying to one another, but keeps on doing things that make it hard for ML to trust her. I mean she keeps on running to SML. After she promised not to keep anything from ML, she lied to him as she planned her escape. To make matter worse, she runs off with SML (not her choice but still). So when poor ML finds her with SML, it's no wonder he can't trust her and has doubt about her pregnancy.

Same here! I don't hate her but OMG she's annoying. She's always acting holier than thou, finding shortcomings in ML where there are none (at least in my book😊). She's always worried about SML's safety but never stops to think how her actions might affect her husband and his family's well-being. ML has quietly done so much for her and she never remembers any of that.

I read earlier that the novel has an open ending. I'm going to force myself to stop watching and wait to hear whether it's happy or sad. I'm still going to finish it regardless of the ending but I just want to prepare myself in case it's sad.

OMG! I just saw a preview where it said FL went off and married someone else after she ran away. If that's true, I'm going to smack that ungrateful girl. My poor Beichen, he deserves so much better!

In episode 29, you can see his 2 buddies investigating the guy and they're pretty close to finding out his connection to the 2FL
