From what Ive read about season 2 they will postpone it after 2 years because Kang Tae Oh will be going to the military and the producers/directors want to include all the original cast in the second season. But yes his character has been completely benched on the side in the last few eps.
What I'm about to say is completely irrelevant in finding out who Big Mouth really is, but I have to say it! .... am I the only one who is finding the Mayor and Mi Ho's chemistry fire 🔥 I mean the way he looks at her as if he wished his wife was loving and supporting like her. This is exactly why I never rate a drama until it has ended. The series started out really well but nearing the last few episodes it started slacking off big time. Weak and lazy writing in the cases that they pick up, character development for jun ho is ZERO, suddenly forcing a character change for minwoo and our spring sunshine's sudden interest in him out of literally NOWHERE, the writing is sloppy and suddenly shifting in direction just to make way for a second season. I think one and done would be the best way to go about it, especially since a second season will need to hold our interest and from what Im seeing, the last few episodes were terrible. Im literally watching in ×1.5 speed.
Toxic relationships and cynical characters. I love love love slow paced dramas, where dialogue is not much but deep and meaningful and where the silence speaks volumes but this drama was a total miss for me. Its a cheap effort of trying to be poetic and deep but is superficial and forcing a chemistry and relationship that makes no sense and imo unhealthy and destructive in the long run.
My mister in terms of storyline, characters and character development, every aspect is so much better than this and if someone hasnt watched it I suggest you do. I'm actually dissapppinted in what could have been with this drama.

There is one point I can't bring my head around, I mean was the kidnapping really necessary though? I mean you have enough evidence to go to the police with a stronger case. Especially the plastic bag photo and the bruises. I mean you couldve adopted her legally or gave the mother money to agree to adopt her. The whole running away scenario is just putting yourself in a difficult situation when it couldve been dealt with much easier and smarter. Its illogical and unnecessary
