I agree with what you said. I wished some things were done a little differently (especially with Eunji), but I…
I do have a question though. This may just be me being dense. What was Tae Hyun’s motivation for pushing the witch onto Jae Won so aggressively? I mean Jae Won was VERY CLEAR about his feelings. I’m sure the witch recruited him, but still to push that hard…. 🤔

Agree! It wasn’t so much a blanket forgive as a I know you. You are going to be you, Along the same lines I never felt Jae Won actively went back to the witch. The man was practically catatonic, in such pain. She took advantage of that and latched on to him . Oh so cold and calculating. He never once kissed her back. I snorted when she said he was back to himself. So she dated a zombie for two years? . He pushed JuHyun away out of a heavy heart full of guilt, not because he “ chose” her. I was soooo relieved they didn’t drag the story through a 3 year time skip.
I think the highlight of epi six was Dr Roy calling her Noona. Squish!!!!!!!😍 Meanwhile……. The pile of “ waste” that is about to hit the fan is growing exponentially by the minute. 😖
Random musings: I was pondering on Eun Ji and Tae Hyun. Lately the undeserved redemption arc is everywhere so it didn’t surprise me. Let’s be realistic though. Most people have come across at least one Tae Hyun in their life. There was one in my husband’s tennis group. For the life of me I never understood why they put up with him- but they did. Leeches are good at what they do- leeching . Now Eun Ji was another matter. She might have conceded defeat, but she would never have gone that soft. I DO think it was very much in Jae Won’s character to say what he did to her. He is still a work in progress. So. All of the above random musing was just to say I didn't see it as instant forgiveness and all is perfect. JaeWon in essence told Yoon Won he wasn’t going to be the same. Their lives are very much in flux. College ending, college starting, jobs looming ahead, an amazing romance. The “friends” will eventually let go when they realize the party has ended. The above mentioned tennis leech eventually disappeared. The ending sentence said it all. Even if we are afraid, we have to try. Sincerely beautiful. Two very different souls that grew stronger, together. The quiet JiHyun is an amazing person. Loved. Every. Minute….. ( well, maybe not all the drinking. …☝️😑…….😊).
I've been wondering the same thing but kept forgetting to mention it in comments. And I assumed the meaning behind…
Of all people it was Eun Ji in epi 10 that in essence refers to the title when she tells Ji Hyun “ I realized the 5 senses weren’t everything ;just follow your senses. Who knows what might happen.”
I’ve been reading up on it ever since I watched (and rewatched) this series. It held so much more meaning after…
This is an over simplistic explanation, but I see it on two levels. 1. Their visceral reactions to each other; the butterflies, the heartbeat, the hunger, but also the calm when they are together later on. Those quiet times were so beautiful. From the first moment they met, there was an awareness, a strong attraction. A hunger. 2. Their visceral reactions to stressors- especially JaeWon. One example is how he reacted when the idiot jealous friend was saying how lucky JaeWon was to be an only child. JaeWon tried to drown the pain.
The editing was done purposely to keep our emotions heightened and on edge, just like JaeWon & JiHyun. It worked so well.
Just for fun, try watching some segments without sound. A good one is in epi 4 when JiHyun is teaching JaeWon how to draw. Don’t you know he had monster size butterflies in his stomach.watch his face. It was sensory overload which is why he sent JH for coffee.
I can’t let it go. I even watch sections with the sound muted just to focus on their affect/their expressions, their body language. Absolutely top tier acting.
Do you check on twitter everyday for news of perhaps a special episode/epilogue or s2? I’m doing that everyday…
😁👉I actually watch for your posts here, hoping you found more clips to share. As I haven’t had time to hunt, I’ve enjoyed every one you’ve posted !😊 Kahamsamnida! 🙆🏻♀️🙇🏻♀️🙆🏻♀️
Love the found family.
