Title The Package
Jung Yong Hwa did a terrible job at acting in You're Beautiful imo, lets see if his acting has improved after…
As a fan of Yonghwa............ I'm a fan of Yonghwa and Yonghwa's singing and music. Not his acting, even still. Hopefully he's improved but............. I won't hold my breath :-)

I put this on hold at 35ep weeks ago. It's still a mess of secrets?
I think you misunderstood the other comment... they weren't trying to be rude, they were joking. Kind of. Like, it's a joke but they're being serious—weekly dramas seriously are always a mess of secrets until well in. Shorter dramas need faster resolutions but longer dramas have enough time to (sometimes too) slowly have all of the secrets unravel.

Do people really intentionally get into asian dramas? I always got the feeling that we all got curious about something…
I think you kind of should consider that a lot of people on this site aren't familiar with many or any Asian cultures; there are things in the dramas which can be really odd or seem too surreal. Also the cinematic style and some themes are quite different from, say, those in American television (sometimes kdramas can be quite cheesy, too). I don't think this article was made with intent to be taken so seriously... The dramas mentioned are just... easy to watch. For first time watchers - or, you know, beginners.

There's no perfect list; all will be subjective. But I think this list has some good options for people who haven't watched any before and may not want to dive head first into something like Boys over Flowers. idk
