currently in a phase where I wanna watch troubled romances with odd couples, melancholy, past traumas etc, so…
Have you tried Byakuyako, Himizu, Steel Cold Winter, Scarlet Innocence, Lovers Vanished, Innocent Thing, Compassion, Beautiful? Not really sure they match what you're looking for and some are kinda dark (like Beautiful), but perhaps try watching the trailers and see if some interest you.
Great! The synopsis already says the male lead is actually dead. Ppl don't need to watch it anymore. -__- Really, that information should be left off the synopsis.
Despite finding this drama very interesting I can't rate it properly bc there are many subjective things in it that I didn't manage to understand, like: what's the meaning of Matsuda shaking his box of sweets? why did Yuuko jumped over the rooftoop wall? is it related to when she recorded it years before or to Tama showing her how to do it? Could it be her showing the freedom she was probably feeling after having let go everything she was holding up? If anybody has opinions about it, pls share. I thought Yuuko was going to date Tama. A pity they didn't. He was really cute and innocent. I also thought Yuuko would end up with Murano. Oh, how I wish they did! Besides that, I can say Komatsu Nana acting was great as usually (how could she be even prettier??) and Odagiri Joe was fabulous as always! What a man!! *_*
Idk if others would see it in the same way, but this school romance movie was better than the usual ones, imo. There is that old cliché that A loves B who loves C, but Tsuzuki, despite being a 1st year student ay high school, shows to be more mature than the one who's a 1st year at university; she's brave enough to confess her feelings and to let go when she thinks it's the right thing to do. The movie is very cute and so is our female lead. If you like that type of movie, with no schemes and pure love, you won't regret watching this.
I liked it, but I didn't feel anything watching it. The leads are cute, the story is cute (be prepared for the old clichés), but that's it. Perhaps it would be more touching if the actors were older and the plot were better developed. But there are similar stories like that with older actors, so... it's just an average movie to me.
I don't understand this rating. It's a masterpiece itself, deserved 9-10 easily! I think that some ratings are…
Tbh I didn't like it that much (and I haven't got anything against age gap). I guess I found all those schemes tiring. I understand why Hye Won went through all of that s**t, but I found it tiring to watch. Yeong U was a pain (the actress did her job REALLY well) and Professor Kang wasn't much different. I imagine there may be some real ppl out there who perhaps are like them, and I'm lucky I've never met any. I really liked the music, liked what was and became important in the characters' lives, but I pictured a different ending, you know? Perhaps a too predictable one, but that I'd appreciate better (a happier ending). It's not that I didn't like the drama; it wasn't just for my taste due to all the schemes. So sometimes it's not a matter of prejudice (bc I did wish the mains ended up together), but of taste. =/
One of the most boring dramas I have watched oh damn literally all I did was forward every episode waiting for…
The husband was only concerned about his interests: he wouldn't admit getting divorced of Hye Won bc of his religion. He would treat Seon Jae politely bc he wanted to be seen as a good man so he would be chosen as the dean of the university. He was a duality: sometimes he'd have full control over his emotions to get what he wanted, and sometimes he'd let himself being taken by them and would throw things on the floor. He was certainly 'weird', to say the least. He's no husband material at all. LOL
well... it took me a while to finish this one. I liked some aspects of it, like what was and became important in life to the characters and the music was really touching. Kim Hye Eun played her role very well, bc omg it was SO hard for me to stand her character! Although the end was interesting, I had pictured a different one (perhaps too predictable?): I imagined Seon Jae was going to study abroad and Hye Won was going to take over the company, make Professor Cho the dean at the university, divorce her husband and live happily free and alone for some years, until Seon Jae came back from abroad and they reunited. I guess that would be a happier ending to me. I'm glad I finally finished this drama, but I wouldn't watch it again.
couldnt have been a better and more meaningful ending
I think it was an interesting ending. But tbh at some point I wished Mugi and Hanabi developed romantic feelings for each other and dated for real. They were cute together. ^^
indeed. I was aware of that, but it sounded funny to me due to the meaning of the word itself. It was like she was being called 'erotic' or sth like that. lol
Then it means she did a good job bc her role was that of a high school student. Young adolescent act that way.…
ok. Thank you for your input. I didn't manage to get to the half of the drama bc I didn't like it. Perhaps I could change my opinion about it in the end of it, but I've already had a hard time watching the eps I completed and I don't see why I should force myself to continue watching it just to verify whether I'd like the end or not. It's just not my thing.
Really, that information should be left off the synopsis.
