Suzuka Ouji as Miyamura is one of the worst casting choices, the live action series is so much worse than the…
I wouldn't say he's the worst, but he looks nothing like Miyamura. And Miyamura's hair doesn't look like a wig. Btw, it has nth to do with the actor being cute or not; he just doesn't look like the character and that's it. He did a good job by playing the role, tho.
In the manga and anime, this story beat happens in a dream. Young Miyamura explicitly states that he's suicidal.…
It won't. Horimiya is a happy story in general. I recommend watching the anime version or reading the manga. They've both got more interesting characters, they're more fun, and they explain a lot the drama doesn't show.
It was just DAEBAK!!! The cast was great, the acting was great, the plot was great... I loved Lee Se Young's character and Ji Sung is just awesome as always. It just bothered me to see Mi Rae's often in sandals while working, when one rule of those who work at a hospital (at least in Brazil) is to always wear 'closed' shoes, due to the risk of getting stinged by needles and whatsoever. lol Accessories like watches, earrings, bracelets, etc aren't usually allowed as well, due to the risk of contamination. But oh well, it's just fiction ^^
It seems to me many ppl don't like the ML character, since they don't agree with his behaviour. I haven't read…
Woo, you should totally give it a try! It's THAT good! The acting is good, the events are good... It was a 10 out of 10 to me. In case you haven't watched, check out as well 'Svaha', 'The Priests', 'Our Town', 'Confession of Murder', 'Forgotten', 'Monster', 'Aku no Kyoten' (Lesson of the Evil), 'Kasane', 'Liverleaf', and 'Tokyo Ghoul' (although I'd recommend the anime version of it). Those are not dramas, tho, but I'd recommend them. They're all on my list.
You know he is a good actor when so many people hate him in Cheese in the Trap, some took it too much by also…
I, instead, LOVED him in Cheese on The Trap. And in Bad Guys. He's just awesome! Can't understand those ppl who confuse the artists with the roles they play.
It seems to me many ppl don't like the ML character, since they don't agree with his behaviour. I haven't read…
I agree with you. He was incredibly smart. And I liked this drama BECAUSE of the leads's personalities. They're not shallow or anything. But... not everybody sees the same things in the same way, so what could we do.
I couldn't handle the toxicity of the main couple's relationship, and don't plan on ever watching this drama again.…
Yeah, it's not easy to deal with ppl who have some kind of mental disorder. The other is the one who always suffers the most, but the one with the disorder suffers too. They just don't understand things happen bc of their attitudes.
Can someone please spoil the ending for me? I want to start this but I see a lot of negative comments
Just complementing Snow's comment: we are given a hint that the leads are gonna get back together, but it's not shown. Oh, and they break up bc he wants to understand himself better and he needs some time alone for that, so he can be a better person for her, bc he knows she suffered a lot to understand him and accept his flaws, while he wasn't really able to change. Tbh, I liked the decision he made: he knew if they kept together, he wouldn't change and she would keep suffering bc of him, so the onyl way for that to change was for him to change himself first. Sorry for being repetitive. lol
i wouldn’t forget watching this drama, that was when i got awfully sick. not blaming the drama itself, it was…
It's bc the ML has sth like a social disorder. And he can't express his emotions freely. So he's a 'troubled' character, psychologically speaking. The FL just stands everything she goes through and bottle her feelings up (so much she ends up with gastritis bc of that - which is a common consequence). Bc they both are taken advantage of and they don't express what they feel, they get close to each other little by little. The main difference is how they both end up reacting to those situations they face. It's not a lovey-dovey story; it's more focused on understanding each other and accepting them how they really are and not by their looks. In case you liked how I put it, give it another try. I held some prejudice against it myself, but ended up loving it.
I don't read Korean so at the end the FL was looking at emails and they looked unread? Then one gets read? Does…
Hope it's not late: Hong Seoul has been sending You Jwong e-mails, but he hadn't read any of them. It was a way of him showing her he didn't feel ready yet to talk to her (since he asked her some time for himself so he could understand himself better). In the very last minute, one of those e-mails were read, so it was a way of him saying he was feeling ready to talk to her now (and probably getting back together).
I love this drama, don't know why it's rating is so low?...
It seems to me many ppl don't like the ML character, since they don't agree with his behaviour. I haven't read the manhwa yet, but it felt implied to me that You Jeong has seen a psychiatrist, since he presented an 'unusual behaviour', so I think that should be taken into consideration when evaluating the character personality. Btw, I also loved it. Just wished a more happier ending. Perhaps 5 more mins to show it?
