This movie is true! It's exactly what happen in most of this kind of cases. And that's why, even if everyone find it hard to rate, i gave it 9. Not that i have a frozen heart, i know this was horrible and cruel but reality is too and that's exactly what they wanted to show trough this movie. So they did their job greatly and deserved a high score, now because of the subject i couldn't give it 10. I'm used to the subject of children abuse it's not the first movie (or drama sometimes) that i watch about this, i know it's just upsetting because we know it's true and in this sort of cases there is nothing you can do. Just keep in mind that it could happen easily in your own family without anyone noticing, it's sad but true. And don't be harmful just about Korean juridical system because this is like that in too much country even the most powerful.
i didn't watch the special and i don't plane to because i'm used to be extremely disappointed in much of them, and the rewiews here gave me the feeling that i shouldn't watch it.
I just finished it and it feels unfinished. I heard they planned to make 16 episodes but for some reason they stopped at 14. if it's true i think they made a mistake stopping it there.
I want more! It was so great!
I just loved how humor and serious melted wonderfully well together. I really appreciate this drama. But i would have liked some episodes about the characters. Some cases involving the main characters. With that we would have seen the other face of each one(dark side? cute side? unexpected side?).
I was a little disappointed about that (but only that! don't hate me everyone... T-T) because i was expecting an episode with a more personal point of view (if not a few, but it was not long enough to be a few). I really feel like there is something missing it was too short! x)
If we make a petition can we have a season 2? é.è (just asking though...)

Yeah i discovered it as well a few month ago i can tell you that you won't be disappointed compared to the manga. Well the first thing is that you can actually compare it with the original piece (which isn't something that can be done easily with adaptations ^^"). It feels like you see exactly what your read. And they gave life to the characters choosing such good actors to interpret them. Well i truly loved it as much as i first read the manga hoping it will be your case too ^^
When i read your review amrita828, i think i understood most of your reasons to put this marks to this show. I just disagree with one thing (just saying it you're not supposed to agree) when you say that Jang Geun Seok makes "too many exaggerated facial expressions", isn't it making it more real? I mean i have seen much more ridiculous faces with my friends or family naturally behaving than in an act, it's when things are too beautiful that it look like fake. Well maybe i'm wrong, but based on my life's experience it seems nearly real. Only my point of view though...
