I didn't have any expectation either, i'm talking about the people at the time it went out. It was at a time some real good drama just had ended and i guess you know how people are during good drama grief. x)

@oyaji : Since i am passing by i will say this as well; when told of a story based on the cinderella concept people do expect some plot construction for it not to be predictable and obvious making it boring in the end, just a bit more depth than the basic story is what is expected from current writers. Of course people will be disappointed if the story happens to offer so little over 20 episodes. And this has nothing to do with action filled series expectation.

Honestly you should give it a try. Everyone has got their own opinion on it. Personally I thought it was very boring, but that doesn't mean you won't enjoy it. So just go on.

I feel like episode 1 is completely not useful, i would have given it a 3 if this special stopped there. The 2nd is truly good but the bitter feeling from the first episode does not allow me to raise my score higher than 6.
Though now i can't wait for the movie. x)

Just completed it, it was a very good drama. Though it could have been better in my opinion, i feel a bit frustrated because the drama didn't exactly go deep in the background of the students.
They used a few times the same pattern over different episodes but we didn't discover much from it, except what we actually knew (or had guess) from the beginning. Another thing i feel frustrated about, Nam Soon we don't know much about his background and i expected to at least get a few explanations about his situation with his father but in the end nothing.

Okay i stop complaining now because it is a drama i still do not regret to have watched. The actors are quiet great. It's very funny, and is a very good lesson of loyalty, sincerity and life over-all.
Even if it's not perfect it's definitely a must watch. :)

Not the best, but still nice. I laughed a lot on each episodes for now, it's a good time passing drama. Hope they will not keep it up with the socks too long, though that would be fun for them to become the King & Queen of socks having a fortune over it... xD

Okay, now i am kind of forcing myself to finish (because it is close to the end), i found episode 17th really boring. The scene with Kim Won and Kim Tan in the police office was a bit sad. Well i am sorry to say this (many may not agree) but in my opinion this drama served us too much tears for me to be touched by Kim Tan and Eun Sang being apart. The only thing that comes to my mind at these moments is "as usual". The reason i keep watching is Young Do and all the supports, thankfully they are here.

@whatteverr - Indeed, he is great when he wants to. That's pretty sad wasting such a talent by lazing around. I still have hope he will try new things on the next show...

Yes right... I think the only time i saw him acting a different role was in The Case of Itaewon Homicide. I want to see him in a different kind of role. é0è

Just re-watched this drama. In the middle of watching it i wondered why i gave it a 6. I mean it's really light, sweet and funny, it deserved a 7 easily. But actually the characters background isn't developed at all, and they could easily have with Tae Ik father's death or Man Ok's fear of fire,Kang Whi and his family. They are supposed to love each other but he doesn't know her real name is Michelle. All of this we did find out about it, but only by flash backs. But it is not sorted out in the drama. I don't like the way it was done. Too bad it could have been great (only my opinion though).

Well, i think that for someone who's been brought up the way Young Do has, thinking his only way to keep his status was to accept and apply the rules he learned, it is only the normal reaction. Now of course he could have been loyal and seen his friendship as more important than his reputation in case that the information were to spread, but not everyone has that quality (and this is without talking about being poor or wealthy).
And we don't know if there isn't actually more to it than just the "hatred" against his friend who is an illegitimate son. He might also have felt betrayed that Kim Tan had waited all these years to tell him.

It's getting interesting, i hope it won't fall too much in the cliché. For now i am enjoying it, it gives me a nice feeling at the end of each episode. :)

That would be interesting but too close to a harem for my liking.
I mean she has already her best friend that she is very close with, Kim Tan and Young Do who are attracted to her, if Kim Won were to be added to the list it would start to seem weird (or she has developped a power we don't know about).
But well it's a drama, who knows it could actually happen.

Completely agree with you, now we don't know what's coming. It's only the beginning, it may get more interesting after developing a bit.
I thought that too, i would have been disappointed if it had been just another BOF.
I actually don't want to expect anything from this drama since nearly each time i do, it gets disappointing. I'll just wait and see :)
