The first 8-10 ep got me hook so bad. I enjoyed first half and expected the plot to get better but turned out just so so but still watchable. For the sake of my anticipation, LXY’s great acting and the lead’s good looks, I finally finished watching the drama.

I hope they both are equally bold and aggressive characters by their own way. He is a general and she is daughter of a noble family. Imagine the tension between them 🔥

I’m curious about the plot. Will the drama give the vibes in Swords and Brocade but with more savage sides of ML? Will ML have more than one wife?

Couldn’t agree more and It also happened in “The Double” where I enjoyed so much despite I needed to convinced myself a bit to see them as a couple since ML had so young appearance. There, FL also had poor condition and her only resource was only the ML, but she used her resource wisely without making ML being use but more like a deal. Here, they had more potentials as the leads looked so good together, the leads’ great acting and also a great novel as a base, but they ruined it. I’m so sad 😕

For me, his best script drama as ML was “In Blossom”. Here the production just wasted the potentials as they did in “ Love me kill me” too. They wasted his talent again 🙁

I was at ep 19 but need to pause for 3 days. Now I can restart watching but forgot some scenes and clues 😅 Could anyone remind me about something between 3rd prince and ML at spoiler below?

I remember he ordered his subordinate to investigate her background. I guess, when he learns her poor condition at her own state, it may be enough for him to realize the misunderstanding and try to win her back. Hope it won’t take long for them to reunite.

After 15 ep, I’m sure he was already fall for her and she might already have a bit good feeling being closed to him. I was hoping for them to fall for each others soon, but trailers of ep16-19 were worrying me. They don’t fully trust each other yet, but they are going to go against or misunderstanding each others again. 🥴 Anw there’s 20 left, it’s long way for them to get back together.
