Although I am happy to read the comments about Miles I still feel bad that he didn't gain the attention and popularity he deserved earlier! I really hope people in China are recognising his talent and hardwork and supporting him after FP 1&2. He acts conscientiously and is scandal free! After Perfect and Casual(2020) and Unforgettable Love(2021) I thought his popularity would soar ( he had 8 million fans already on Wb then) but it kind of stabilzed. If I am not mistaken, I think the guy who stabbed LC was the scholar guy Zhang Qian who was trying to pass the imperial exam for 9 years. He was on JCY side but colluded with LC and killed Master Xu. All for topping the imperial exam, lucrative official position and power! But then ruthless that he is, LC invites him for tea in his carriage and poisons him. When that guy asks why he poisoned him he says " Once disloyal, never to be used again" " it is exactly because you are like me that I am killing you. The person I hate the most is someone like myself " He probably didn't die then but became psychotic and took his revenge. His lines after stabbing were like " the traitor has been killed, now I can definitely be in high school in the spring" mango subs 😂

Totally 💯 I am enjoying this story (Flourished Peony continuing as In the name of Blossom on Episode 17 without skipping any parts!). Some of the comments here have been unfair I felt. The only bit which I felt could have been avoided in the script in a part of one episode! Again it's not totally unworthy being there as it helped Mudan reflect on her own purpose and goals for personal and professional development... It's a historical drama set in the Tang dynasty. Trading, culture, politics, behaviour and interpersonal relationships are all in line with the era. Acting is top notch especially YAng Zi. Amazing cast and breathtaking cinematography! So many positives 😀 😀 And there is plenty of romance - as others mentioned it's not physical but it shows in innumerable other ways in both seasons! Glad to know it's doing very well in China. Ppl should judge it themselves!
