Tawainese BLs do not disappoint. Leads are always strong and check all the emotional boxes even if the story sucks, that's the writer's fault lol and you can feel the connection and chemistry, they take you there. I love their intensity and execution not to mention their fan service 🤤😍. Japanese BLs always have this aura about them, like they just love pain and suffering lol. They focus on slow build and really question their attraction and have that internal check in. Pure torture but mature and you can see that all the actors stay professional. They've got good discipline. Korean BLs have great story lines, great looking actors, hair and make up is always on point but their NC scenes is the death of me 😩. Thai we already explained but their cinematography is top notch and clearly they've got lots of marketing money. Their boys be too pretty, every now and again I need a hard jaw line you know. Now Chinese BL is at the top of the list for me they don't even need NC scenes to send you on a rollercoaster. They just hint at it and you need an ambulance and CPR 😂. And now that they've found a way around censorship, baby!!! Game over!!! I'm gonna need to keep my medic on standby 😌. They definitely give you more bang for your bucks. I've dabbled here and there on Filipino BL but not sure if I'm sold yet, feels Thai-ish so I'll stick to those 4. Anyways, may we both find a good Thai we can finish. I actually didn't finish My Stand In 🫣

You're right, they never have enough depth. Even with strong actors, the story line still flatlines. Or they're overly dramatic which takes away the emotional strength. They put out a lot of BLs tho but none sticks out like Taiwanese BL or Japanese ones for that matter. KinnPorsche was a strong contender but was a bit disappointing towards the end. Then To Sir with Love was a close second but I never finished it. Love Mechanics might have been the only one I enjoyed but it was light so no fluff heavy stuff or anything. But yeah, I gotta keep an eye out on Yesterday cuz I never tend to finish Thail BLs🤭. Doesn't Yoki in Love After Addiction kinda resemble Yu Menlong? I swear on certain angles I can't tell the difference. Oh, may his soul rest in peace 🙏🏾🕯😢

Yes YunYi gave us what Yizhan couldn't. I'm still team Yizhan forever though 💚❤🦁🐰😌. I'm secretly hoping YunYi will be like Chance and Guno (from Secret Lover) The age gap will probably make them more like MaxNat, I stalk them on Instagram 🤭. But after Revenged Love, I thought nothing was gonna top that for a while and then wolf man Fan Xiao came on the scene like 🔥🔥🔥. And they dare say this was his debut which I cannot believe til this day. My fave scene has to be the part where he makes him send the email and the scene where he was beating himself up and Shulang tried to reason with him and home boy got up and said I can't. I was dying lol, that's when I knew I love me someYun Qi 😂😍😍🤤
