Instead of questioning the ratings of other dramas ask yourself what went wrong with your drama that it got that rating. Romance can't be the reason for a drama to be rated high there's other factors to a drama too.

This story is told from the female leads pov. The first four episodes were about the female leads characters introduction before meeting the male lead. It's like you may meet someone first but that doesn't mean that person is whom you'll end up with in the end type of lesson. We meet people later in our lives that's how the male lead not entering the scenes yet.

That's how some directors are like. It's disappointing when leads give their all for the director to cut out scenes to suit the 2nd lead. Here in SOM, the director knows who are the leads. The princess royal was confusing and unnecessary added conflicts that ruined the drama for most people.

Zhao Jinmai is a great actress. Very versatile. With few works but they have achievements for her age.

True, I also like how natural her workplace is. It feels realistic plus they wear their uniform when they out of the office. I enjoyed their work activities some companies have little activities which other cdramas never add to the dramas. The dramas I've watched lacked this. The female leads always dressed like they are running on the runaway instead of work.

Xiguang's outfit may not look expensive but damn!! They are so expensive. I didn't notice she was wearing Valentino dress at the 2011 banquet👀 there's many outfits of hers I love. Especially the colours.

Yes, I think they have a soft spot for the leads😂the index heat ended at 30190. It can reach 31k if they want. I'm sure they'll be excited when JerkXu gets rejected by Xiguang on todays episode. Plus the office kiss! I want it to exceed 30 to 31k before express package arrives.

She's not settling. She'll prove her support for the ML. I believe the reason why she didn't rush after Yusen confession that time was because of that reason. She needed time after what she's been through. I think, she's been over the 2nd lead for a while. She just didn't realise her feelings until episode 19.

I thought of the same thing... The writer did great by building up Xiguang progress in the intimacy/physical. First, we saw Yusen kiss her, she was shy. In the car, it was Yusen who initiated them to kiss more. The last kiss, it was Xiguang who initiated it.

I saw episode 28 preview kiss. It was much better than the previous kisses. The slow build up intimacy is 🔥

From my perspective, their scenes are like because of their situation or past. That's how much a red flag, Zhuang Xu character is
The FL was on eggshells. She was miserable. The ML & FL won't have tension since they have the same laidback personality.
