When it comes to love triangles especially on main episodes. Don't trust anything or the 1st half of season of the production editing. Them being spotted and being secretive might show that they are endgame based on how they tried to hide their faces. Jin & Ailin might not be endgame in the show. We don't know what would happen in the first month's out of the show. Them not hiding their meetup hints they are not endgame on the show who knows!? Dr Fang isn't dull. He is funny. They just don't give him screen time aside from being with LanLan most of the times. It's okay, if you like another cp but don't be biased on another cp. If LanLan likes Fang not Jiao then who are we dictate them whom to pick? She knows what she sees in Fang despite how dull you think he is for her.

Yuxing is like this his friend introduced him as the unreliable. I saw him in the trailer a lot with Yifan. I don't know how I feel about that. I don't think Chichi and Yuxing are endgame. Next episode, yifan will use the train date on Yuxing. He did seem to open up a bit with Yifan despite him setting boundaries between them. I can feel the frustration of Yifan upcoming episodes. They'll definitely push this until the love trial episodes. I'm over the drama it's draining wish to see more friendships moments & romance.

I like your comment. You weren't biased to them. If people have a bias they'll be oblivious. Though, don't know who are the end games. I always felt that when the trio were together. Lechen engaged or initiated the topic with Yuan more than Dou dou. I wonder how will the zihan, chichi, yuxing & yifan square angle will end up how. Looks like episode 6 would be focused on them. Plus the Ruilong, Dou Dou and Yue too. Seems like Yue doesn't want to give up.

The extra episodes of Leyuan CP Date are cute!! I wish, they added them to main episode 😂 I hope, the PD adds less drama on the upcoming episodes.

It's giving me a headache from coming here to comment. So much negativity. People in here are forgetting this people know what they want. They are humans with good and bad side. This isn't a drama TV character who are flawless and expect them to be perfect to my preferences.

Honestly, if you watch because of ships or predictable love line. I would say this season would be stressful. It's too edited. I would say season 7 was better since it was predictable with love lines. Here, it's tricky since it's heavily edited to make love triangles appear more than they already seem.

After everything that happened on today's episode... I'll wait for extra episode to base my opinion. I need cut scenes from the episodes to base my perspective on the ongoing drama. The production edits can make things appear as they don't seem for ratings. I don't understand what's happening with this show lately. It has become obvious on the editing. I believe the cp poll ruined this show from the start. I understand last year many spoilers were out and all but this new season it's all dramatic editing to fit a storyline to keep the drama flowing. I hope by episode 6... They reduce the drama and add some good moments for few episodes! This 2 dates thing was an eye opener! By attention to details & body languages on 2 dates.

I don't know much about what's happening with the programs crew and all scandal but I think, they don't like him based on him interfering on their favourite ship. I hope he let's go of LanLan by now. He voiced out his worries and expressed interest but not getting signals back. It means he should sit back and let things happen.

Not everyone joins the dating shows with intentions to marry. People have different lifestyles on what they want for long term relationship. His reaction was not good, I agree but I can feel the frustration of being misunderstood especially in his beliefs. Both wanted to be heard. I can understand in what way he meant. There are couples who are together without marriage or wanting a family even in harmony. Clearly he is serious about commitment. That's why he said he gives 200% in a relationship. He hopes someone does too. I assume, he has personal issues with his family that plays a role in his dating beliefs. With marriage and starting a family while it's the opposite for dou dou since she grow up in a happy family that impacted her dating beliefs.

@MissingN I agree with. Both sides are toxic. At the end of the day, we don't know this people. What we see it an edited version. From what I heard on douban, the endgame rumors started way before the show was announced. There was some kind of postpone on releasing. That's why some scenes don't make sense due to heavy edit. I don't know, if it's to start drama or something else like distract the audience from rumors. This year's members I don't have an issue with anyone. I feel like they are good friends offline but online due to editing it's being made like they are fake and not friendly to each other. I don't understand the who did what first since both parties are the same. Why project the members fans negativity to the members themselves? I feel like it's unfair. People can't control whom they attract people to like them as fans, there is positive and those who project hatred online to make themselves feel better.

People when they watch dating shows they like shipping and take it to the extreme. I've seen this on Korean dating shows. Now, it is Chinese dating show. I'm tired of the female fans always pinning women against each other. I don't see this hype much with male rivalry against one woman. I don't understand why female fans like doing such things every time.

I hope this drama is dark and all type of emotions. I've been missing this with historical dramas.

What do you mean? IQiyi is having a good year unless you are referring to what you like? It has many good series with good douban score and some good index heat. Have you seen the thriving land? It's currently number 1 in Mainland.

I was attacked online and called a hater when I said similar to this. The script writer ruined the drama from the start. (same issue with her previous work) It had potential but the plot was predictable. The villains were foolish moving with no motive why they doing all those bad stuff. If you compare this to other adaptation of the writers and how the screenwriters did well with the double and the glory. One would understand some of the high expectations some of us had when we watched. I think the chemistry is one the things most of stayed for. I'm glad they didn't use too much filter. The editing wasn't really my favourite.

I don't think they'll be pressure. It's only the fans who compare the chemistry of the 2 dramas.

There's forty episodes in total!! I'm not hooked yet or even excited for more episodes. I have an issue with how some scenes that were supposed to be long cut short... The female leads families death was supposed to be sad. I felt nothing since it felt rushed.

April has been a bad month for c-dramas. Nothing released can't seem to catch my attention. The way "The Glory" did. I was expecting some unpredictable plot or scenes. so, far from this drama. Everything that happened didn't give me excitement or anything. It feels flat the first few episodes. I just wish we knew or saw more the female lead with her father some sweet moments before they killed him off. It was disappointing. Let me watch more episodes for the revenge part if it's not getting me hooked by episode 8. I'll drop it.
