Ma’am I was not referring to the actresses . I was referring to the comment you made above. It just seemed a bit one sided when both parties did wrong. I was not asking you to criticize the actresses (that’s childish).. it just seemed a bit unfair to criticize just one party when both parties did the same thing.
Why do people find it so easy to insult actors and actresses. The constant negative criticisms and comparisons. Being a fan of an actor/actress does not make it okay to talk down on another, the other might not be your favorite but he/she is also working hard . So let me get this straight, it’s okay for the first commenter to call Dilraba’s acting wooden but Zhao liying’s acting can’t be termed as wooden? If the commenter you responded to is rude ,what about the first comment he/she responded to. Don’t you think being fair would be you criticizing both of them.

There are situations/scenes like that but my comment was in reference to a first time meeting between both parties without any knowledge of the male lead treating the female badly. There are lots of dramas where the Second lead is a jerk to the ML for no reason at all other than jealousy. I understand what you mean in a situation where the male lead is a jerk and the second lead stands up for her within boundaries. But honestly why do FMLs get written as someone who needs a ‘man or a savior’? These writers need to do better !!
I love this drama!! So refreshing! A lot of people complain about how *flat* the romance is but for some reason I liked it. Being a lover of Mystery, crime and detective dramas with drops of comedy and romance, this was a cohesive story. Simple but detailed and the romance was light but also cheesy..
This is such a nice write up!I honestly believe most second leads are written as entitled *nice guys*. Nice guys who are disrespectful and antagonistic towards the Male lead for no reason other than jealousy. Nice guys who are all about their own feelings and are written to build their world around the female lead (choking) and also intrusive. And like you said *nice guys* who believe they are entitled or deserve the girl because they are nice(you are not entitled to people’s feelings) The know-it- all and unnecessary overly protective act while pushing their own thoughts on the female lead (a lot of C dramas are guilty of this) can be so exhausting! I can’t imagine a male friend thinking he has rights over me just because he likes me, like dude get a life pls!let me breathe! Not a fan of the stereotypical Jerk male lead but one thing I have noticed is the respect for the FL’s feelings when they are supposedly in love- it’s more of a ‘I have fallen in love with her but I will respect her wishes if she doesn’t want me while the SL’s motto after being turned down a number of times is ‘I will not give up, I must get her’. How do you claim to love someone and yet it’s all about your feelings. I think most people feel/get SLS based on the fan love they have for the actor playing that role. For some people its more about the actor than the character they play.
