Now, what gets me is when Aunt Qin was on her because the boys were being teased that they were merchants, then HL was whining because they were calling her names...listen, when they were down and out, they were complaining. Getting so far to where they are now, still complaining. HZ is the only one that has come up with ways for the family to survive. Either they shut up or come up with ways to make money. It is so annoying to see her doing so much and to hear them still being that way. She always is finding ways to make them be appeased.
We are going to get into a bad situation due to XJE calling in Ming from her families place to do the accounting books. She was so wrong for yelling at the newest girl because she couldn't catch onto doing the books. That slapping your hands with a ruler isn't making her learn any faster either. But Ming steals all of their money. Hello? Who is to blame now? She hid the fact that she even hired him. What will happen now? Oh, will HZ have to handle getting the money back too?
I like how she handle the situation with GYX and those letters. She was like, come with me and read them. I was wonder how long he was going to be able to hang out there and not do his job. But now that the emperor knows nothing is going on he is going to still continue to stay there.

Overall, well-written and performed. I didn't think I would like because this is not my genre. I am happy I did watch it. I would definitely recommend.

I knew that the husband killed HTS, but I didn't know his mother was so helpful in the killing. I think he is telling NMY more lies than truths. I also think he fooled around with HYJ too.
To know that KGW was still alive, and then calling for his mother. OMG! Then KJ basically ran into him again. My Lord! To hear that made me cringe.
They both have blood on their hands. All that KSY did to ESH and KSH was really null and void. I mean, KSY's dad taking the fall for KJ, to help his son out man. This is just twisted to say the least.
Then we have ESH's mother starting signs of dementia it appears to me.
But do we think that KSH is playing KJ to protect ESH? I really don't think he is joining hands with him. But what is the deal with the pictures that he had with the field. Oh, and does it not look like in the previews that he destroys the tablet. But I hope she is smart enough to make a copy.
I can't wait to see KSY bring down KJ with all those other men that he previously took all of their shady dealings and passed it off to KJ.

This drama continues to get more interesting each episode. But what gets me, is stop with the one episode. It drives me crazy because just as you get into it, there is not another one.

Emperor is beyond the level of paranoid. He trusts no one and now he has GYX checking into the Dowager. What was his real deal with doing what he did to the Hua family? I feel there is more than meets the eye.

When he died and she just held onto him. I could not take it. And when she basically told them they were not taking her man. I was like you go girl. Hold on to your man. He has done enough.
Love the arc of discovery of her parents. Her father...goodness, that was just heartbreaking.
It was nice to see the growth of Fu Rong and Mo Fang, he just had a raw deal. But both of them I look forward to seeing in many more dramas for sure.
He was wearing that white hair looking all fine...
I really enjoyed seeing XZ be just a basic mortal per se when they went to see Ms. Jin, you all know you were smiling seeing how loving he was wrapping his arms around her saying he was cold and needed some warmth. But when she told him she was pregnant, well, I need an extra episode to see the wedding and the birth of the child. Stop shortchanging us...lol! We need that episode.
This definitely for me, lived up to the expectations that I was hoping for. I would highly recommend.
