I have to say I am enjoying the storyline of this drama. It is nice to see women empowered to step up and get things done. Even though we know it is all HZ doing it, you can finally see them all getting onboard with the program.
But let me tell you, I knew that Madam Qi son wasn't hers. But that was too jacked up that she was sending Concubine Qin out like that. I mean, the son just hears this, and we are not giving him an opportunity for this to even sink in or have a discussion. So wrong.
Let see how they act now that they are back pretty much with how they use to live, if they will remain so vigilant or just start to rest on their laurels while HZ does everything.
Looks like GYX is going to become a teacher helping HZ out with the children. But how is he having time for all of this. The emperor is on him about--how did he put it--he wasn't killing enough people.
I was glad they showed what the men were up too.
That one guy needs to go that came running back after they got back on their feet. But I get what HZ is doing. Girlfriend is not dumb in the least.
Now SQ is moving in too and it looks like his brother will start liking SY.
Again, I do find it interesting to see how HZ just really pushed to get them to better living and showing them all that they do have the know how to do more and if the men aren't around, they can provide for themselves. Let see how things change when they do come back. Everyone will have changed.
The only thing I can say, is that XZ got some and now he is all cray-cray. You know what I mean. Hey, it's been a minute for the man so for real, not hating on him for doing what he needs to do. But he told her to have restraint, but that went out the window with a quickness. Now, it's like I need you to be by my side, so I'm putting you on lock down! Yes! XZ you are off the chain right now.
Binged all 8 episodes and I have to say I find this a refreshing drama. It is so nice to see women that through adversity they are all coming together. It is a bit of an adjustment with more along the way I'm sure, but I believe in the end it will be worth it. To see them come from being so pampered to stepping up and doing things on their own is interesting especially to hear one of them say, "who is going to comb my hair." I thought I would die. LOL!
But in the end, they are all seeing that they have risen above what has happened to the men in their lives and learning to take control. So empowering! I cannot wait to see more of this drama. Definitely recommend.
Was it me or did we just need better closure on somethings. I think the last episode could have been much better, it felt so rushed just to end it. Oh well, it was decent.

At first, YL was getting to me always hitting Furong in the head. But she makes a good ally to help him help XZ out to get what he needs to help SL. I just hope they don't find out she is alive yet until she gets her full strength.
And we need to help XZ heal up. The wound isn't looking to goo do to me.
Who is the banshee in episode 30. Gurl is yelling like there is no tomorrow. Ok? And now, am I hearing right? SL has a demonic force in her. What has the Holiness not shared with her.
Well, well, well, some changes afoot. I see that A Lan was saved Grand Elder SY. Now, he has the same agenda as AG. Wonder if he will join the battle eventually too. When will AL show up so they know she isn't dead.
Are we really sure that BC has the Dark Crystal out of her. I'm still questioning that.
But you all know, I have to go there, YES, I saw my Demon Clan Grand Marshall today with his high ponytail wearing self. That man is so fine. And when he smiled...he is just the cutest. Again, I'm all in with the demon clan for real.
Can we talk about AG's upgrade. Hair all long and puffed up at the top, new headband, oh and a new chilled outfit. Ok, AG, we see you.
Now, is crazy XYK going to use that Bei likes AG against BC so that she becomes jealous and goes all Dark Crystal again.
We have some new players coming into the fight looking at the upcoming episodes.
