PJH meets with his crew, now they have no idea that they are backing the wrong guy here really but because he is one screw loose, they are staying on his train and not getting off. But you have to appease the nut right. So, let's just agree with him and do what he wants they are all thinking. Stop the interrogation from happening and according to PJH if they sprinkle some chaos. He is sure to win. But not so fast.

Li tells his crew; look you all have to dig up info from three years ago. Shut down the border council folks too. Tell KMH to sit his ass down and stay out of it. He was involved three years ago. So just chill out. Li is holding his cards close and not telling anyone he does have his ace in the hole. And we all know that is CLD. He is just keeping it ready.

Winner Round 1 - Draw

Intermission
You know CLD night is just starting. She shouldn't have even stepped up to JSH. He can't stand her.

CLD: "Captain Joo. Just how poor are you at your job? I have never been on good terms with you, but I have trusted you wholly with his Majesty's safety. However, this incident was a bolt out of the blue. An assassination attempt from a traitor?"
(side eye look) JSH: "You are right. It is all my fault."
CLD: "The biggest problem is his visits to his private residence. If you cannot stop his travels, such an incident may end up recurring."
JSH: "I concur. However, that is up to His Majesty to decide. It is neither up to me nor you."
CLD: "But Captain Joo.."

Yeah, he gave her his backside and walked away...yes!!!

Ding...Ding - Round 2
PJH's crew comes out swinging some serious jabs at Li. He has them voice their opinions in court thinking they can push Li into the corner and give him some good body shots. But Li wasn't going to take anymore, he threw a right and left jab. Gets PJH on the ropes and got a good uppercut in when he told them basically send another petition, I got something for you. Try me. Go Li!!!

"Your Majesty. Chu Dal-ha attempted to assassinate you. How could you hold an interrogation over a report such a man made? Please retreat the order of interrogation. The report from that traitor must be false one he concocted to avoid punishment. There is no solid evidence proving the existence of a spy who colluded with the Qing. You must behead the criminal and hang up his head for display to show the gravity of his crimes to the people and let it serve as a lesson to all. We implore you not to discuss our words of advice and grant our petition."

Li: "I have seen you all for a long time since the days of the late king. But every single one of you remains the same and eternally unchanging. You act as if you care for the nation and its people. But do you truly think I do not realize that your safety and personal gain are your sole concern? It is utterly appalling and disgraceful. Compared to all of you, Chu Dal-ha is a thousandfold more loyal as he risked his life to report on the spy who colluded with the Qing!"

"Your Majesty. How could you compare a wicked traitor to us court officials? It is highly inappropriate!

Li: "Heed my words! If anyone submits another petition to go against me on this, no matter who you are, I shall consider that you are attempting to hide the spy and have you punished for high treason.

Here we go Queen Park. My gurl, chilling out in her palace crib and doesn't know WTH is going on. Best line: "What on earth is happening in the palace?"

KMH yeah, we have him going to the dark side. Seriously? We knew he was going to trip when he knew that KMW was siding with Li. Yep, he is standing on shaky ground. He is still ticked and feeling some kind of way that KMW is still into Li. Heaven forbid if he knew that she slept with him. This is looking bad. Can KMH just be like Caroline from Poltergeist and see the light. We are all telling KMH "go to the light KMH, go to the light."

Ding...Ding - Round 3
Li gets entail from KMW about Mak-dong who recognized Chu Dal-ha. This could have been a big hit for our team. But that was short-lived PJH got there first and killed him.

Ding...Ding - Round 4
Li decides to send one final warning to PJH. They are toe to toe right now in the ring.

Li: "Principal Director. Confess your crimes and be punished. I will not interrogate you if you do."
PJH: "I am not sure which crime you are referring to, Your Majesty."
Li: "Do you truly believe your treasonous collusion with the Qing can remain a secret? When the interrogation begins, all your crimes from murdering Mak-dong to concealing your liaison with the Qing to poisoning the late King to death will be exposed."
PJH: "Your Majesty. With all due respect, you cannot punish me for the late king's death. Even if a poisoning took place and I gave out the order to do so, you cannot expose these crimes. If you punish me for them, the people will think that they were your doing. And this will serve as a pretext for treason, which will then lead to your dethronement."
Li: "A pretext for treason? A pretext for treason, you say. The people believe that I poisoned my brother and my sister-in-law to ascend to the throne and committed depravity by taking my brother's woman. The people condemn and point fingers at me for being a pathetic king. A king who lets the Principal Director, his uncle, take control of the court and abuse his power as he sees fit and also indulges himself in baduk with the gidaeryeong, a man whom he is attracted to at Yeongchwijeong. All my action so far...provided ample pretexts for treason. That is why I am taking action now. PJH: "I apologize to Your Majesty. But I have none to state. I have been your loyal subject thus far and have never been disloyal to you. I have always been prepared to give you my life if necessary. However, not even a royal command can force me to falsely confess crimes I did not commit, for a smear against my reputation equates to one against the reputation of you and this nation."
Li: "You adamantly...refuse...to state your crimes?"
PJH: "Yes, Your Majesty. As I have no more to say, I shall excuse myself now."

Looks like we have to have a one more round which is for all the money here. I'm saying a draw because we are now going to have to have Li do a TKO on PJH's ass to win everything. Do you think he can do it?

Li: "Why did you come to the palace when you have not fully recovered yet?
KMW: "I came as I had something to tell you."
Li: "Is it because I arrested Chu Dal-ha without telling you?"
KMW: " How would I dare to comment on your decision? Nevertheless, if you arrested Chu Dal-ha to protect me when you knew it was all my crime and not his, I must say you still do not know me well."
Li: "I decided to take measures first as I anticipated you would react this way."

KMW: "If it is against your wishes, you do not have to say anything."
Li: "What more can I hide from you? When the late king passed away, he gave me his last words. (flashback) I went against my brother's last words and ascended to the throne. The man standing before you...is a criminal who usurped the throne."
KMW: "Your Majesty. You ascended to the throne to keep the late king's last words. It was to protect the Grand Prince and the Princess that you became a criminal. Now this was some serious talking here. I have to say...Li is fine! He has that whole beard thing going on. I was like, hold up! He is looking good. No wonder CLD is trying in the worse way to get some. Too bad. And speaking of her, the lipstick. Do you really think he is going to kiss her? Let me think about that for a minute. NO!!!

Not one episode can go by without me mentioning my sweetie pie CP. That cute smile of his just lights his whole face up. He is going to break so many hearts when he is older.

Two more episodes, can I stand it...

Let me tell you...Dai is FIRE!!! He is too fine. I believe someone mentioned about the chemistry between him and the FL. Gurl, I agree with you 100%. His other co-star in Forever Love. He was working, do you hear me, working those kisses on her.

The ending did nothing for me at all. I felt this drama started out strong and lost its course along the way and became lackluster, dull, boring and dragged out an ending that could have been done sooner.

@MadMarti yes for those reasons as well. But he knows that even though she threatened him helped him get the throne, he knows QP still uses her and she is loyal to him so she will tell him. Let me tell you...it is about to go down tomorrow in that palace. Li is not even playing. He is going turn that mother out! I cannot wait to see the happenings.

Well, JSH got a shocker didn't he. Say what? KMW is a woman. He never saw that coming. But Li was in hyper mode. And you could not blame him. If he could have called the whole damn palace to help KMW, you know he would have. But I get that JSH has to protect Li, but come on, he has no time to listen to all this palace BS about the assassin. Boy bye. Don't you see his woman is down from saving him. Get real!

Now, am I going to have to worry about JSH loyalty here? He is looking a bit shaky when Li is telling him to do things. Then doing his side deal with the imperial doctor. Hmm...

Queen Park, meanwhile, was at her palace crib trying to get CLD to do her bidding. But you know she is not even hearing her. We all know QP can't stand CLD. Best line from QP tonight: "That insolent wench."

Everyone is just trying to creep around the palace to get out to help Li with KMW. But you know CLD she is always slithering around somewhere and tries to find out what's up, but she gets stonewalled at every corner. But she does finally get the inside story from one of the aides that was with the imperial doctor who lets it out that KMW is a female.

Yes, gushing once again on my cutie pie CP. Isn't he just adorable? He told Li he still had to see QP even if she basically dogged him out and made him wait. Well, Li wasn't having that and gave QP a smackdown. The first of the evening.
Li to QP: "I have failed to consider the agony you are going through, Mother. For the time being until your sorrow subsides, I shall have a palace eunuch greet you on the Crown Prince's behalf." Yes, Li. I cannot with you...a eunuch, wow!

When CP ask Li about seeing KMW it was too cute. He was all choked up when he asks him. That was such a sweet moment between those two. I hope to see more of that.

The stare down was on!!! Li meant what he said to PJH. He is going to seriously rock the palace this next episode. Yes!!! I cannot wait to see it all go down. QP is looking scared of PJH. Oh snap, are they asking CLD to kill herself. Yeah!!!

Wow, wow, wow...what is going on here.

Looks like YJS's father handle the situation by having the psychiatrist block his mind from the memory of his mother's death. So, let's analyze this.

1. It could be that YJS saw who killed his mother and the shock was too much.
2. His half-brother was the one that has something to do with YJS's mother dying.
3. The mother did it herself and didn't mean too. It was an accidental death.
4. I don't think that YJS killed his mother it might have again, been an accident.

It seems that the father wasn't home and only YJS was or was he. Was there someone else home besides him?

Biggest mystery to be solved. I hate that he won't be with the team since his memory that was block comes back. He will, I hope, get the team to look into his mother's death.

I have to say, again, this drama started out well, but WTH happened? I am exhausted with KYJ.

The stupidity is ongoing. First of all, there are so many unanswered questions that we just bounced right over and focused on the whole KYJ, "I hate SJW." that nothing else matters.

Can we say how dumb the police were with not putting an APB like asap on KYJ. Or wait, here's a thought telling the folks at the airport that SJW's daughter is rolling back in town. SJW when she was driving at breakneck speed to the airport, calling them and telling them her daughter was coming in and don't let her go with anyone. Maybe just because the daughter says that she knows her you do a double check to make sure. Like can I see some ID. That was just stupidity there for real.

Going back to where KYJ lived to get clues or talking more to NTJ to find out more information on KYJ. Where are we with KYJ's guy that was helping her out? Did he tell them anything or give up anything? Go to her dad and see what he thinks she would go?

I mean, this drama to me after the husband died, just went downhill. Now, we are going to spend how much time in the last episode looking for the daughter, having her put the company back to number one and then having YTO (new do) confess his love to her. Yeah, I guess that's what they are calling the happy ending. But she is still popping those pills to maintain her sanity.

Ok, I think we are all on the same page as I have read the comments...Dai is FINE AS HELL!!!
