Well, I have taken my time to watch the last episodes. I have to say it was a beautiful snowy journey.
I will not reiterate what many have said over and over again.
Instead, I have to give it up to my man, Leo Wu. This man, this man, this man. I have seen some intense gazes before, but his, just makes you melt and just memorizes you. It was the slightest gestures that he did that caught my attention. From staring at YG for the first time as the snow silently fell around him. His eyes were just fixated on her which you could see nothing else not even the cold mattered. You knew at that point; no other woman would do. She was going to be his.
The way he always, gently would take her hands into his and speak directly too her never letting her eyes stray from his. He wanted her to be all in, on every word, every look that he gave her.
From just making sure that she was comfortable and did things to ensure that she knew he was with her even when he wasn't.
Throughout this drama Leo Wu to me reach just a pinnacle of excellence in his performance of a romantic partner. Not that he has not in the past, but this performance here to me puts him on another tier.
Not to take away from Zhao Jin Mai, but like every woman here, I was focus on Leo. Who could not be? He now has upped the ante for every man.
I tip my hat to everyone who was involved with this drama from the actor/actresses to the people who never get accolades that we sometimes forget. Well done!
