So far, I'm still out on this one. It reminds me of Durian's Affair. The beginning part along the same lines with coming into 2023. I feel in Durian's Affair they were not that over the top with being amazed at some of the things they encountered as opposed to PYW. I feel like PYW is sometimes over playing it too much when she is surprised at things but sometimes, she downplays where I thinks she should be a bit more curious or surprised.
I think that KTH is not asking anything about her. How did she fall into the pool? He didn't even ask her name until she told him. Why was she wearing those clothes? Where does she live? I mean common sense questions which he never even asks mainly where her identification is, nothing. They just say she will be "Vanessa", but they aren't even curious to know who she is. I mean, he wants her to play the part of his wife, but he knows absolutely nothing about her and vice versa.
Then when all the money went flying in the air, no one went to grab it. They just let it fall to the ground. When she was staring at the girls when they were eating and she was hungry, she could have gone in to get some food, she had money. She had not lost it all.
He evidently wrecked his car in the garage, but how did he managed to get there so fast. Is the grandfather the reincarnation of him he died, and he remembers her now that he sees her again.

Well, this episode was all about LJH aka Morticia getting spanked left and right! Yes!
We all knew that the cooking teacher was HYJ's mother so that was no surprise there.
But let me tell you, if I had a husband like SDG, gurl, I would be clinging, do you hear clinging to him all the time. That man is so fire. And to know he has HYJ's back like that, he makes me love him even more. Best line he said, "Right now, I could tear her to death, and it wouldn't be enough. But I can't do that. So, I thought, what ways to torture Morticia? What could be her worst fear?" Ok, SDG is not even playing. I know if he could Morticia would be gone for real.
Then we have LBJ (grandpa) aka Dr. Emmett Brown from Back to the Future, looking all crazy when he was strangling Morticia because he just can't stand her. Who can? You know he wasn't signing no papers. Why did she even go there?
But HYR is really pushing the envelope with YSH aka Mr. Whipped. The way she talked to him, and he still takes it is beyond my understanding. But he looks like he is walking away from her and his job. But I do believe if she comes begging back, he will forget everything and help her because he is so whipped. And his sister who thought HYR was her friend, well, she found out she is marrying SDG's brother. So, all her conniving with her led her where...nowhere. But wait, that is both of them! They got nothing. Thanks for playing!
Now it is really kicking into high gear with the knowledge of HYR being pregnant and we all know that YSH aka Mr. Whipped, is the father. But if she slept with SJW, he would believe it is his.
Let me be clear when HJW finds out all the sneaky, shady, stuff that Morticia did, man, I hate to be her, especially if he finds out his ex is alive. I wouldn't want to be her. Wonder how she will talk her way out of that.

I have finished this drama including the special. I must say I was definitely impressed. Everything was on point, in my opinion. Great storyline, well-execution of all performances by the entire cast. It thoroughly kept me involved from beginning to end. Highly and definitely one to recommend.
But can we talk about XW and those kisses. I'm sorry but those were definitely serious and on point with all the kisses they shared. High fiving on that.
And I was LOVING, LOVING me some Yan Lin. He could be my general and lead me anytime!
All and all definitely worthy of the praise it is and should receive. Loved the OST. Kudos to the writers/directors and all those behind the scenes giving us this well-crafted drama!

@Engima05 I liked it and for me it was a 10 due to Xu Kai's performances in those last episodes and in 30 and 31. Man, he broke me down. Miss Thang was a trip, but the reason why she was dumb down, in my opinion, is she let love overrule her thought process hence she put herself in the position.
YES!!!! This drama was ALL that! Loved, this drama, so good particularly the last 3 episodes! I cannot say enough about my man Xu Kai! He was born to play these types of roles. When he went into the palace, my man was so looking awesome. Yes, this is definitely one to watch. Highly recommend this one! It lived up to the expectations for me. 10's across the board!!!!

I think that was the best scene of emotion between those two. It got me.
