Give it up for the duke. LOL! His children ran him crazy these two episodes. First his daughter. he slaps her not once but twice, so hard she goes flying and breaks a cup. You know she was looking at those broken pieces and was thinking of her exit plan. Then his bratty son thinks he's all bad ass because he has some guards. I guess he thought he was taking care of business with WA for talking about the fam. But guess what? That backfired. When he got home, oh yeah, the duke had something for him. BAM! Goes the slap. But wait, he isn't done. He kicks him and tells him to stand up and be a man. I cannot...LOL! Man, the duke is so beat down.
The duke's daughter well, you know she got slapped by her father but Mama Empress Dowager, she started it off. I know the duke's daughter she was like, "damn, how many more times are you all going to hit me."
Then you had JXH getting slapped by her mother. Oh, then Mama Xue was like, "Get the rod." Not only slapping she was going to beat her ass too. Dang!

Desperate times make people do desperate things...got to give it up!!! Now that XS, gave it up, she is now a consort which takes her out of the running to be a bride. Didn't see that move coming. If you did not feel anguish, despair, and all-around sadness for the loss of LN's men in episode 30; I don't know what you were watching. To see his men struggling to survive the onslaught of arrows and those damn chains, I was beyond upset.
