There were some really touching moments in these episodes.
I loved Daddy Emperor when he told AN to sit with him on the throne and they had that heart-to-heart. Then when she was heading off to battle and said she is still his daughter and be safe. So sweet.
The moment between HY and WS was so touching also and WS saying how much he cares for all that HY has done for him and never to risk his life for him. I can't wait to see WS and DZY have their reunion. Then to watch WS bid goodbye to YQ, these two are so cute together.
Dang, all these departures were killing me.
But the best was to see DC and MQ say goodbye as well. Hmm, is it really? Hopefully so and she and MQ can enjoy their lives.

The trailer for the next episodes shows AN dying defending the city. LMX is on the chopping block literally for using the military, so HY says for personal reasons (what they are, we don't know), and this is punishable by death. DZY is trying to save him from dying by getting the city.

First Cruella Gu needs to get her ass beat! She is too much. Her poor son, YJH. He loves his mother so much and she just always is yelling at him and showing no love. Horrible! I was glad to see the dad put her to task and say basically get out of my hotel. But you know she is not done. She is still going to try, and it looks from the previews that she says CSR takes some money and leaves him. Lies, all lies.
Second Ms. Fly the Friendly Skies just because LRW turned her down, she had to be all mean and say something about her divorce. So sad when people aren't interested, and they can't get what they want so they resort to such low tactics which really isn't going to change the narrative at all.
Third, KDE finally takes her husband to tasks. Yes, I was so happy to see her and her daughter just chilling while he cleaned. Then his parents coming over and getting the deal. I am so happy.
Love CSR's grandmother. She is a hoot. Her friends were too much with all the pictures. GW's dad and the tiger balm. Too funny. But his dad should not have done what he did with regards to sending her away. I know what he was trying to do, and he knew GW would not agree but, again, he should not have done that it just creates more of a divide with his dad.
Now, his mother is back. What drama is that going to be? Then Cruella Gu is just being handed all kinds of drama with her husband talking about the divorce.
There are so many funny points, yet the drama to me, and in my opinion is very well paced and all the cast is well suited.

But we understand wanting to keep the secret that you had DZY's brother all these years, but really? Now DZY is going to find out that you had him and raised him but will also probably question you as to why you didn't tell her. You were going to let her leave the capital without ever telling her. Yeah, she will be ticked I think for only a minute. LMX is going to be surprised as well but what is his deal. He wants to have her raise the army again. He is ready I believe for a war to outbreak.
MB, how much longer can he stay hidden. He will be found out sooner rather than later with episode 30 coming up and only 9 more. We have to start revealing a lot of things at this point. And when AN finds out, I don't even know how she is going to be. She may show him what a real general can do finally and rightfully so. All his sneaking around and basically using her, will be so hurtful to her that she cannot even believe anything that he would say. If she wanted or felt a certain kind of way, he burned that bridge, big time.
I am glad that we have put the 80,000 soldiers to rest, but DZY is still being so indifferent to HY. No matter what he tries to do, say, she still admonishes him to no avail. I mean, when she finds out what he has done with keeping her brother all these years, I feel a reckoning is coming for her.
