I loved the glare from LD when he went there.
Then we have Chen the emperor, isn't he being put through the ringer. Every time it gets too hot, lets adjourn. I feel you on that. Yeah, for LD being Prince Regent. And speaking of that, I loved how all the ministers were giving LD the smack down and here goes Chen, "By his Majesty's decree, Lord Ding will be appointed as the Prince Regent. He will be given a seat in the imperial court and is allowed to carry his sword to court. This concludes this decree." Did you hear that? I liked that power move there. Two snaps for Chen!!!
In the previews of episode 39, PRJ becoming the emperor (in her mind). Putting on her robes, dragon crown and holding the seal making her way to the throne. Girlfriend is dragging the sword (you know the one) and has her army with her, ok? And you see Chen seated on the throne and MZH in the hall too as PRJ yells outside the hall, "I am also the orthodox lineage of the Liu clan."
In the previews of episode 40, PRJ is holding Mr. Whipped in her arms (he dies) as she is talking about how he betrayed her. (Didn't I say he was going to switch sides. She was out of control and went against what he believed in after talking to MZH.) Oh, she does sit on the throne as Chen and MZH look at her. She does admit that she never wanted love only the throne. Then we see LD and MZH looking at the snow and he kisses her on the forehead.
Thank the Lord he doesn't die. But we know there is probably more happens but at least we are going to have a happy ending.
I have questions, I really don't understand DH's mother. I mean she hasn't believed her son from jump it seems apparent to me. Not, again, unless there is something we still haven't seen to change what we are thinking. It is all about her political career. She is even planning on how to win the election using what has happened with him.
What and how do JDC and his brother fit into all of this? How were they used to cover up everything? How does JDC's brother even know her? Did I miss that? Who is the witness?

I'm sorry GSJ and GYZ, these brothers whew! I am liking the oh so detached and coolness of GSJ but GYZ, he is too cute as well.
We are now back on track with our lovebirds, LD and MZH thank goodness. The whole thing of him catching her and taking care of her was sweet. But to see him get anxious and run after her, now that was a moment because you know he is always so cool. Then to see that tear coming down when she held his face, then kissed him, come on, you know you all were smiling. I know I was. So, we are in our happy zone right now but not for long.
Can someone please slap PRJ? How did you like how she is leading Shen aka Mr. Whipped around? I mean that whole thing with writing the poem in the moonlight and her drawing the tree, come on. I can't with her. She is just leading him big time. But hold up now, in episode 38, do we see Mr. Whipped getting him some? I believe so. But again, I believe she is just giving him some payback for all that he has done for her and just to keep him still tied to her. Those two really do deserve each other.
And what was up with Zhijian going after PRJ and then we had our boy ZM get jacked up? I'm so upset with him because he knows that ZM would follow him and protect him because he is like family. He acted without thinking but we know he will be on the mend.
Mama Empress took a bite out of crime and let LD know that PRJ is the one doing all of the shady stuff. Thank heavens, on our team we have MZH aka Nancy Drew who helped LD know that is what she meant. Can we say we are feeling sad for Mama Empress? I mean the woman was just off the chain but dang, she is just going out without speaking and just existing at PRJ's whim. Again, can't stand that whispery voice of hers.
Chen needs to stop being such a loose cannon as the emperor and think about what is happening around him. LD is put into the dungeon we don't know why. But Chen is starting to listen to the wrong people and then to tell MZH he needs proof that PRJ has done all these things make me what to smack him like Cher in Moonstruck, "Snap out of it!" Annoyed with him.
When I saw in episode 38 MZH in the rain crying over a dead LD. My mind head was spinning like Linda Blair from "The Exorcist." Say what? Now, let me be crystal clear here, this is not funny. I am not happy if you all are taking LD this way. You better be saying he took some sort of poison or something and he is going to wake up. For real. This is no joke.
Wouldn't it be something if they all were playing PRJ and had all schemed and conspired to bring her down, even Mr. Whipped? But at least he got his, you know.
