Ok, everything came full "circle of love" and yes, we get a happy ending as best as it can be. We really have to stretch our minds to see how it is possible. But again, it was happy in hindsight.
Let me tell with all the kissing that this fine, fine Li Jui, did I would have LOVED to have a full version which was longer. Those kissing scenes, can we really just talk about them? This man is fine as hell. The FL and him, whew.

Whew, this was a lot to take down. There are spoilers so if you don't want to know, don't go any further. SY was a trip and what happens to her, it was deserved because she did so much to so many. Enjoy and let me know your thoughts.
Episode 19
SAA goes to see Lin Yaoâs mother who is a psychiatrist, and she explains to her that Xinyi is the one that is not understanding the divorce between them. The parents have decided to divorce by Xinyi is the one that needs to understand why. She tells SAA she needs to have a conversation with RYM.
Lin Yao goes to visit SAA and takes a tent and has a big bear that he plays with Xinyi. Lin Yao talks to SAA and explains to her that everything will be fine. He uses an analogy of plants even if the look dead, they can be re-rooted and come back to life.
Chen is getting ready to put on a fashion show. He doesnât like the outfit, but the assistant tells him that is what LY picked. He told her she isnât here anymore and to change it.
SAA calls RYM and ask him to meet her to discuss Xinyi.
Chen has his fashion show, but he makes a sexist comment, âMany men, mainly me, are willing to pay for the beauty and sexiness of women.â Ok, and you are an ass!
Lin Yao and SAA have a conversation and she is basically telling him that she will need to spend more time with her husband because of Xinyi. Now, he has to get it together because this is her way of letting him know what he faces if he wants to be with her. Not that SAA and RYM have any more feelings, per se, for each other but they still have to interact because of Xinyi.
Then RYM shows up with Xinyi. Lin Yao calls Xinyi over and they have another cute exchange. RYM thanks Lin Yao for taking Xinyi to the hospital after SAA told him. (Well, you know Lin Yao isnât going to back down to that sideways comment.) His response, âIâll take good care of Xinyi and SAA, in the company.â Now, both SAA and RF are looking. RYM response back to Lin Yao, âNow our family is going to go have dinner.â (You know RYM was trying to dig one in on Lin Yao. Then you have RF just smiling. Honestly, I canât stand her. She gets on my nerves because she wants them to get back together and she just doesnât understand that no matter what, SAA will NOT get back with her brother.)
Lin Yao drives home and is visibly upset thinking about SAA and RYM together but what can he do.
RYM, SAA, WH and RF are all having a nice dinner with Xinyi. But SAA is just concentrating on Xinyi and not RYM.
SY sees on WH âMomentsâ the picture of all of them having dinner. She picks up the resume of RYM and tears it up into little pieces and throws it up in the air.
LY watches the negative comments that Chen is receiving after the fashion show due to his sexist comments.
Chen decided to hire a PR firm to calm everyone down and bring back the image for the company. The female PR firm tells him to apologize. He fires them. The male PR firm disagrees with him apologizing which he immediately jumps on that those are his sentiments too. Their solution is to get a popular female program to sponsor. This will show he is supportive of women. (You know where this is going right?)
Chen tries calling LY because he wants SAA to be that program. LY show with SAA is a hit. The boss tells LY what Chenâs company wants and she tells her that she will not decide but leave it up to her.
RYM, SAA and Xinyi are headed back to her house.
Boring part: WH discovers in the trash can pregnancy results for RF. She is pregnant. WH makes her something to eat to let her know that he knows. She asks him how he found outâŚduh, you threw it in the trash right near the table. They get into an argument. She doesnât think he will make a good father. Really, she is about as bad as SY with her bi-polar self. She is seeing what is going on with
RYM and SAA and is saying that they are kids themselves how can they raise a child. This is so not good. Again, I canât stand her.
RYM drops SAA off at the studio. LY comes out to meet her. Xinyi tells SAA she needs to go to the bathroom. This gives LY time to talk to RYM. She asks him how things are going or is it a mess. She told him that she warned him that when he is with SY it is strange, not messy. What will he do next. Does he want to return to a happy family. RYM says it is not up to him. Now he just wants to be a good father and to do his duty. LY tells him with regards to work if he needs anything to let her know, she will help. He thanks her. (Again, LY I thought she would be nasty, but she turned out to be alright in my book.)
Xinyi goes with RYM for the day to the zoo.
LY and SAA walk to the studio, and she told her they agree with her revisions. Always be sincere and true to herself. (She is gaining more confidence in herself and her decisions.)
Meanwhile Lin Yao is having dinner with his mother. Talking about a âfriendâ who confessed his love to a woman who has a child. (And does he think his mother is so stupid that she doesnât know who he is talking about?) The woman asked him does he mind if she sees her ex-husband often. His friend doesnât know what to say. His mother tells him that if he likes the woman with a child, then he needs to be prepared taking on this difficulty. Lin Yao thought that he didnât mind anything. He also thought that he had done well to be the father of a child but. (He was just thinking about what he was doing so far with Xinyi Iâm thinking.) His mother told him that after having a child a lot of things cannot be cut completely clean. They will have to do things together but that doesnât mean that she is interested in him. What other feelings does he have? She talks about what she went through with his father. He feels that it might be better to leave for a while. His mother disagrees. She tells him that he canât leave. He thinks given some space and to tidy herself up is also a response. She says sometimes this woman, might be afraid that the man canât accept her. So, she chooses on her own and ask the man to leave. She tells him that if he wants to be with her long term now this is an opportunity. This proves that he can accept her. She can be her backer. He says he has to keep the right distance. (His mother is cool. Love her responds to him.)
RYM takes SAA and Xinyi home. But guess who is home, SY!! She has her luggage and tells SAA that she is moving back in. SAA could not call RYM fast enough to come and get this crazy bitch. RYM comes flying back to the house. SAA tells him that she will call the police if he doesnât get her out. She starts talking like a baby and saying that they have no job, and he wants her to live in a place that she doesnât like. He drags her ass out. But she got a real wakeup call outside of the house when he says, âShut up! Stop messing around. Get in the car.â She was shaking because he has never yelled at her. Well, get ready because more of that is coming.
LY meets up with Chen as she is leaving the studio because he came there to meet her. (You know he is still trying to get SAA to be the female sponsor he is looking for his company to clean up his mess.) He tells her that he likes her video, and it is well done. She told him that he doesnât have to tell her that because she already knows it. (Get it LY!) She asks him how he is doing. He said, âYou know Iâm not doing well.â He tells her to take him off the blacklist in her heart. She says it is not that he is miserable in her heart. Now he is in the hearts of thousands of women, and he is very miserable. (Good clap back LY.) She says that she feels that his deep misunderstanding of women comes from her. She said that she wanted to date him. Chen says because being his woman has many benefits. (Oh, please!) The reason why she wanted to date him is because she felt that they were the same. He then says that he has been waiting for her to beg him. (I cannot with this man, he needs to just stop! LY and you know she gave that smile of hers.) Told him that he looked down on her and women, but it doesnât matter, sometimes a mistake is a mistake. You can pay for your actions. Itâs good too. Drank her drink, and just smiled again.
RYM and SY arrive to their small on the bottom of the basement apartment. SY starts again. She talks about how RYM gave SAA the house, gave her the money. Why doesnât he give her the car. Oh, then says they should just go and beg for food. She then asks him has he ever thought of her and where they would live. (Ok, letâs think about this, no matter what SAA, would always make sure the RYM was ok because that is the father of her child, plus he has his sister too. SY needs to get off of her lazy ass and stop whining about what she doesnât have and, I donât know, maybe get a J-O-B! How about that!) He told her that SAA deserves the house and then some. He tells her that they didnât have a big house when they were married, they had to work for everything. He says you have me. Are you going to take all the money from the house now? She says she has a job (and you canât get one?) and they are the ones that donât have one. He told her he will not let SAA or Xinyi suffer. She said so she has to suffer and that she doesnât want to live a hard life with him. He tells her you will have to suffer if you want to be with me. This is what they deserve. (Ok, are we all clapping on that exchange. I know I am.) She tells him that she doesnât want it. Starts talking like a baby and crazy. How she wants to take Xinyi and they can raise her. She can be her mother. He tells her that she is crazy. (Gurl is losing it.)
Episode 20
WH and RF still arguing about the pregnancy. (boring)
SAA has a good talk with RF and tells her not to be scared. She will be fine. She is pregnant and WH will not divorce her. WH is there when she comes for her checkup and sees him learning from a nurse how to change a diaper and they both learn about mixing formula. WH shows her a certificate that he learned how to be a newbie dad. (Bottom-line they both need to grow up!)
RYM goes back to SAAâs house to pick up SYâs luggage. RYM tells SAA that he thinks it would be better for him to work elsewhere so that SY will leave them alone. SAA agrees because she is tired of it. He said that he would come every weekend to see Xinyi. SAA tells him that they are the people that love Xinyi best so they both have to do their duty towards her. She just wants her to grow up healthy and happy.
RYM talks with WH who tells him about a job at least 2-3 hours away. He tells him that would be good. WH says that he thought he would get something locally. SAA has forgiven him but there is no hope for them together as a couple. She no longer has him in her heart and has started a new life.
Lin Yao calls her into the office and ask what kind of contract she signed with LY. Itâs a cooperation contact of the show. Lin Yao says that means thereâs no exclusive contract, so she can take the endorsement. He wants her to shoot a commercial and be a spokesperson for the company. He is going to send her the information. If she gets it, she has to treat him to a meal, for a month.
RYM is doing dishes and SY comes in. He tells her if she was going to be late then she should have let him know. She was taking a cooking class. (For what? And again, RYM has to pay for that and arenât they trying to be frugal?) He asks her if she is really going to cook for him. She says she has to for Xinyi since she will be her child. RYM tells her to focus more on a job. He is not fighting SAA for custody.
Xinyi asks SAA if she divorced her dad. She asks her why she ask her that question. She said she is living in one place and her dad is in another. (Now, why didnât she just say yes.) She tells her that he is moving for his new company. To me her explanation was lame.
Lin Yao and SAA are going to meet a client, but they are going to have dinner together first.
RYM is meeting with a potential employer for a new job. He says he has heard a lot of what went on with him, but he is not holding it against him. He tells him that he appreciates him giving him this chance and will get back to him as soon as possible.
RYM runs into SAA and Lin Yao at the mall after his interview. Lin Yao was holding SAAâs arm and she pulled back when she saw RYM. You could see how unpleasant it was for Lin Yao. RYM let them know he just had an interview. SAA congratulated him. Lin Yao couldnât take it and said they hadnât eaten yet and did he want to join them. He said no, he had another interview, he has had lots of opportunities lately. You could see that Lin Yao wasnât believing him.
WH is talking to RYM about the latest job prospect. He told him the money is too low. But he canât move too far away because of Xinyi. WH asks about SY. He tells her she is taking cooking classes that he is paying for. WH said he doesnât think she wants him anymore and does he love her. RYM said he doesnât care what she does on weekends, and he is just making do with it.
RYM goes back and tells SY they are moving. She says she wonât go. (Ok, gurl bye!) He will be coming back on the weekend to see Xinyi so how he will have time to be with her. He told her Monday through Friday he will be with her. She says he has to work so how will he have time to be with her. He again tells her he has to work. He said he will accompany her after work. She doesnât like that either and told him she wonât let him go. He told her if she doesnât go with him then they can part ways. (Now comes the ranting and breakdown). She tells him that he is abandoning her and she wonât let him go. He tells her he never said anything about abandoning her but if she wonât go, then they should live separately. (Like, why is he EVEN entertaining her with explanations. Dude, just pack your bags and leave already!)
OMG!!! SY does a live broadcast and talks about being the âthird partyâ when it comes to love. How people who are the third party wonât have love. She agrees. She talks about how he left everything to his ex-wife, and she is the poor woman that he left. She tells them they can scold her, but she really loves him. And he doesnât love his wife anymore. She tells how it is really hard for them now. And she really feels sorry for herself. She asks about that woman that got everything, a good host now. She has everything from fame and fortune. (Now, you know everyone knows who this is.) She then says maybe this is what she deserves. (Ya think) The internet is on fire! SAA arrives at the studio to be attacked by the press asking if the person who did the live broadcast is her sister. SAA is looking like WTH is going on. LY comes and saves her. (LY my gurl, is going to get this crazy bitch!) LY tells SAA that this is easy to take care of it is all in how she wants to handle it. Oh, snap! LY says, and the company is backing her to sue SY! (do it please!) RYM contacts her and ask her how she is doing. She replies not good. (Is that a dumb ass question or what? She is still dealing with her crazy sister!)
SAA talks with Lin Yao. She tells him that she doesnât want Xinyi to know but he tells her she may not understand. She tells him that she met RYM due to their negligence and now she has psychological problems. He tells her that she does not need to explain the most important thing is herself. He tells her that SY is like a storm and destroys everything and leaves. Just continues the cycle. SAA asks what he means. He tells her when she meets a new target, she will become a young and lovely girl again and show only her best side. But gradually she will get deeper and deeper. She will focus everything on this goal. Tie him up. But the more she does, the more afraid sheâll lose it. The less secure she is. The more you want to control each other and the more you lose. And sheâll be traumatized by her previous relationship. You are more eager to feel safe.
SAA talks about a healthy relationship. Lin Yao tells her not to worry about SY she will be fine and take good care of herself. He told her the most important thing right now is taking care of herself and Xinyi.
RYM goes to get takeout and the woman wouldnât serve him because of what was on the TV. It was them talking about his affair with SY. (They even have a picture of them.) He goes home and SY is sitting and ask him where the takeout is. He tells her they were sold out. She asks him why he didnât go to another place. He tells her to order for herself. She tells him that she is tired of takeout. (Wasnât she going to cooking classes. Cook!) RYM just walks away.
LY and Chen meet up to discuss each of their lawyers handling the broadcast the SY posted.
SY goes to get her takeout and the woman and her get into it. She just reams her out about stealing her sisterâs husband and everything. SY storms out. SY goes back and tells RYM that she wants to move. He said why, because you will still act the same way there as you are here. She says that the woman from the restaurant said that she stole him. (Get readyâŚhe said did she say anything wrong! Oh, RYM is learning now! He tells her that she is too scary, and he canât stand to be around her another second.)
Lin Yao sends a lawyerâs letter and evidence in the case about SY. He tells them that SAA and Xinyi are victims. He sent the corrected information to the media outlets and those they wanted to keep the truth he was suing them. (You have to have to love Lin Yao!)
RYM calls his sister and ask to stay at her house, if convenient (I would be telling him, donât be bringing your crazy to my house, especially since she is pregnant.)
SY is in the apartment and stayed up all night. She is going off on the deep end.
Chen appears on LYâs show and apologizes after he said he wouldnât. (See sometimes you just have to wait for folks to understand and do the right thing.)
RF tells SAA that RYM hid at his house (ok, and? Why does she really care at this point RF?)
Lin Yao and SAA go to see about her getting the endorsement for the company.
SY goes to pick up Xinyi and tells her that her mother asks her to pick her up. They are going to go have dinner with her father. Meanwhile SAA had RF to go pick up Xinyi. Now the teacher does call, SAA but she said, âDid you send someone to pick up Xinyi?â Why didnât she say who is the person that will be picking her up or why didnât SAA offer the information as well as to who she designated to pick up Xinyi. Both of the failed in my opinion. Neither did a proper verification. Lame.
Episode 21
SY takes Xinyi to the amusement park. This little girl isnât stupid, she asks where her mother and father are. She tells her they are working, and they are going to have fun. Xinyi agrees to have fun with her.
Meanwhile RF is at the school looking to pick up Xinyi. She texts SAA as to where is Xinyi at. SAA calls the teacher and ask her who pick up Xinyi. She asks if it was SY. And she that was who it was. SAA calls SY who doesnât answer. SAA tells Lin Yao what has happened, and they apologize to the client and leave.
SAA finally gets a hold of SY (you can hear Xinyi calling in the background for her mother) and she asks SAA whatâs there to worry about. When she is in a good mood, she probably will return her. (Ok, you psycho you have my child and now it is time to go nuclear on you, for real!). SAA asks where she is, and she will pick her up. She is all up in arms because RYM didnât go home last night and threatened to break up with her. And we all know he did, only she canât accept his decision. So, of course, she believes she was with her. She tells SAA that she has to let her feel how painful and most importantly that person you care about the most.
Xinyi is just crying big time calling for her mother. Which any mother would be anxious at this point and ready to kill someone. Because you are messing with my child. SY then turns her attention to Xinyi and tells her that she isnât going home because she hasnât had enough fun yet. She tells SY that she doesnât want to play anymore and wants to go home. SY continues her tirade and yells and Xinyi to listen to her. They will play until the door closes. RYM goes back to the apartment and SAA calls him to tell him that they are at the amusement park.
Lin Yao and SAA are on the way as well as RYM. Xinyi is still crying as SY drags her around. RYM is thinking about how scary SY is. SAA tells RYM that he knows where SY is at. Xinyi tells SY that she is tired.
Before you know it, you hear SAA calling Xinyi. Who runs to her mother. RYM, picks up Xinyi. As both RYM and Lin Yao look on SY taunts her even more by saying that SAA looks good and that she found them. SAA moved so fast, and she slapped the shit out of SY! Man, it was the best bitch slap ever until she fell on the ground. She told her you can do whatever you want, but donât you EVER touch my child again! Lin Yao just stared at her on the ground, and you could see he was fuming. Lin Yao waited outside while SAA and RYM made sure that Xinyi was fine. SAA tells RYM that she doesnât want this to happen again. She tells him that she went off because he didnât go home. He tells her that he will stay outside to make sure SY doesnât do anything.
Lin Yao tells RYM that he has to leave SY. He tells him that he dated SY briefly and shows him the cut she gave him when he left her. He tells him that he needs to plan everything out but do it sooner rather than later. He tells him that he wonât let SY hurt them again and thanks him. Lin Yao tells him that he isnât doing it for him and leaves.
LY and Chen put their past behind them. He compliments her on the show and tells her that she found her niche. She finally agrees to open the sponsor to him. He wants to do it with her. They toast in agreement.
Lin Yao also waited outside all night with RYM to make sure everyone was safe. RYM goes back to the apartment. SY starts that damn baby talk and tells him that she made breakfast. Oh, and she is had not cooked any other morning because she messed up now, she is trying to get him to forgive her. He doesnât say a word. He just grabs his case and starts packing. SY grabs her case too and starts talking stupid talk.
SY blocks the door. He tells her he paid the rent for two months, gave her a credit card with all the money he could afford, and she needs to get a job. She needs to learn to stand on her own. She is whining that she has nothing. He tells her that she scared Xinyi but wait, she still doesnât believe she did anything wrong. He tells her she can do whatever she wants in the future, take her clothes off, cut your wrist and take medicine. You can cook for anyone you want. Suit yourself. They have to separate.
He pushes her out of the way. He tells her to take care of herself. She complains basically that he took her youth for that little bit of money. RYM still walks away.
Now this is sad, RYM tells Xinyi that he is leaving and that he will visit her as much as he can. He of course eats those dumplings for the last time. As he is getting ready to leave, he thinks about their life together. He asks her for a hug one last time. She gives it to him. You can tell he is upset. It is so sad that everything they had was destroyed. Xinyi comes running out one more time but gives him her rabbit to take care of him while he is away from them. Aww, man, you will feel tears.
The endorsement SAA has to justify her position because Lin Yao is taking the brunt of what happened with them leaving to go get Xinyi from crazy SY. They donât think she will be a good spokesperson, but he put him in his place with telling him that she is a modern woman. Even though she is a mother, she has a lot going on and she will handle and has handle everything that is thrown her way. She gets the endorsement.
RYM settles in his new job and his boss is still asking him about going overseas. SAA is thriving as is LY. All is good and we are not seeing SY anywhere.
But no sooner than you say that she appears. Donât ask me how she found him, but she did. She follows RYM back to his place and the security guard stops her. They are company dorms, and she canât get in. She takes a picture of the place.
Lin Yao and SAA go to pick up Xinyi from his mother. She goes to see her, and she drew a picture of the family and even included Lin Yao as her friend.
RYM is talking to WH about going aboard. He tells him even though everything is right it is too far away. He wants to be close to his family. WH tells him that he has changed. He asks him if he isnât jealous of his situation, meaning Lin Yao. He says he has no right to be. If the person is good and right for her, he will be fine as long as SAA is happy. He asks about SY and if he heard from her and he says he hasnât.
Episode 22
SAA is in the Lin Yaoâs motherâs kitchen cooking, and we have some seductiveness going on by Lin Yao. He tells her that he can clean the vegetables and of course he needs to get all close to reach for them. You go Lin Yao, playerâŚget your girl all excited. They have dinner with his mother and Xinyi. He finally gets her to hold his hand under the table. They are too cute. He asks her if they can tell others about their relationship, and he tells her she isnât ready. Again, he says he is willing to wait. Gurl, how long you going to keep making him wait. Give him a little more, please. RYM has a good talk with Xinyi and tells her that they know both have to be honest with their mother no matter what.
SAA is sitting at home alone since RYM has Xinyi and she calls him. He asks her if she misses him, and she finally admits she does. They go to buy flowers. As they are at the childrenâs store too, they run in LY who she introduces him. LY says that he is the one that is secretly picking her up. He says she is she is quite cute. She asks him what he said. He asks her if she is jealous. Well, you know they get interrupted because RYM brings Xinyi back early. RYM ask Lin Yao if he wants to watch the game and he says he does.
As they go outside, RYM ask him to take care of SAA and Xinyi since he will be leaving. He asks him if he really likes SAA. He said that he likes her a lot. He asks her if he is sure that he really likes her because he is young and there are many temptations around him. He doesnât want SAA to get hurt again. Best comeback by Lin Yao, âIs it your age that makes SAA hurt? No. Itâs your behavior.â YES!!!! Tell him Lin Yao. He summed that up big time!!! RYM didnât have anything to say but admit it was his actions that hurt SAA. Lin Yao says they are on the same side with what they both want for SAA. Xinyi calls Lin Yao and asks him to help her at school for a handicraft project because RYM canât be there. He says he will. Now, that was cute.
Here we goâŚSY has moved into the dorms where RYM is at. She starts blowing up his phone until he cuts it off. The next day his boss tells him that he has a new girl that they hired to work with him on a project for two months. He hears the heels. Guess who it isâŚ.SY!!! OMG! He looks literally sick! That damn smirk on her face.
Xinyi looks upset thinking that Lin Yao wasnât coming, and he does. They do their handicraft as all the women gossip about him and how handsome he is. They want to know where SAA found him and where is SAA. When she comes to meet them. She tells the women that her and SAA have parted ways. SAA and Lin Yao take Xinyi to dinner.
RYM calls his boss and wants to talk to him. SY is frantic the next day looking for RYM. The boss tells him that he is out of town for business and can she go. He tells her no and that RYM left her work to do. She asks when he will come back. Tomorrow, 3-4 days a month, not sure. I am so glad he told him the deal.
Lin Yao has a love note and tickets for him and her to attend a play. He asks her does she have time after work, and she says she does. Meanwhile she put her purse over the heart card that he put on her desk. RYM come running into her job. Tells her that SY found him and is working at the same company as him. He wonât be able to visit Xinyi every week anymore. He has to break his promise and needs for her to explain. SY is such a pain! He tells her that he is going overseas. They decide to tell her because he will be leaving the next day.
She forgot all about Lin Yao and what she told him about meeting him that evening. She only tells him that she needs some time off. She grabs her purse and the tickets, and the love note fall on the floor. Lin Yao comes down to her desk and thinks she picked them up, but they are underneath her chair. She never saw them. He waited all night for her.
The next day SAA comes in and ask Lin Yao why he has the same clothes on from yesterday. Didnât he go home last night. He is fuming, literally fuming. He said that he was going to the theater. She is acting so stupid because she really doesnât know that he got the tickets. She asked him did he watch the play late and did not have a good rest. Oh, he is about ready to explode. He tells he didnât watch anything.
Lin Yao goes off. I mean off. He asks her when he can be more important. SAA is still looking perplex because she really doesnât know what his deal is. She tells him that she doesnât think that he is unimportant. Then finally ask him what is wrong. He tells her that he doesnât want to see her with RYM all the time. He doesnât want to guess again and again, whatâs the relationship between them. SAA mouth is just gaped open by this explosion from him. He then asks when she will truly belong to him. Ok, the gauntlet has been thrown down. What is she going to say? Another lame excuse. What do you think she said, âI see.â Gurl, see what? She tells him what happened yesterday about RYM leaving and how they had to deal with Xinyi. She always keeps telling him that. But I want to know, why at some point did she not call him and tell him that she was meeting RYM because of her. She did tell him that she was free. So, of course he would be upset.
Lin Yao apologizes and says he was rude. He further says he is sorry for making it so difficult for her. He tells her she is right and walks away. She tells him to wait but he tells her to leave him alone.
Episode 23
And if things could get worse, RYM calls Lin Yao and asks to speak to him. He tells Lin Yao that SY has been following him and tried her best to get close to him. She lives in the same dorm and works at the same company and that he has to leave. Lin Yao tells him that SY will not let go easily unless she really canât find him. He tells him that is why he decided to work abroad. RYM tells him that he is worried about SY going after SAA and Xinyi. He told her she wonât do that because she only needs him. He tells him that if she canât find him then she might give up.
Then RYM starts talking about he made the biggest mistake a man can make and that he is a jerk. (Well, that is a given, isnât it?) He then tells Lin Yao that he loves her and that he wants him to take care of her and Xinyi. Why is he even asking him this? She is divorced from him, and she said they were only to make sure that he is doing his duty as a father and both of them as parents. Does he really need to go to these lengths to talk to Lin Yao about this. Leaving I get it. But to say I leave them in your care. Not feeling that. Lin Yao does promise RYM he will take good care of them and if one day she does choose him, he will be the happiest man.
And she just doesnât give up. SY confronts her boss and again ask where RYM is. He tells her he told her that he went to the branch office in the surrounding city. She said she went there, and he wasnât there. He asks her who told her to go there and does she want to work there. She told him that she only wanted to be there because of RYM. She goes back to the dorm and calls him. Phone not answering. Hears RYM's door close and races down the hall and opens it. RYM isnât there and she ask him who he is. And he asks who she is because it is his room and that RYM left and is going overseas. The meltdown is full on. She is running everywhere. She goes to get a ticket to go out of town. None were available.
RYM writes a letter to SAA before he leaves.
So, RYM puts his luggage in the taxi, and you see SY see him leaving, screaming his name and chasing after the taxi. Falls on the ground crying. Oh, well, he is gone gf. Now, what are you going to do.
Now begins the downward spiral of SY. And it is big!
Landlord is telling SY she has to go. She starts asking about jobs. They tell her no because she hasnât work at a company long enough. She gets an email about a job. She is told that the position was given to someone else. She asked why because she met the job requirements. He tells her the company reversed the tone and found that there was a big (notice they said âbigâ) problem with her previous job. She storms out.
The landlord throws her out along with her luggage. She rolls away with that and the clothes she has on. What do you do if you are SY? You go to the bar and drink your sorrows away. Then you run into a man when you are half drunk.
LY and SAA are doing guns blazing at their talk show!! I am happy for these two. Great collaboration. Women power all the way! Here is a twist, RF is now SAAâs manager. I still donât like her.
Lin Yao and SAA are getting along great. RF has endorsements for SAA, but she wonât take them unless she tries them. Reporters ask about their personal life and see Lin Yao and ask if they are dating. At this point she ticked me off, she has been hanging with him and says he is still her boss. Annoyed! They ask Lin Yao what he is looking for in a woman and he says smart, beautiful and generous which they say describes SAA. He then says if you can connect them with him, that would be even better. SAA wouldnât answer so Lin Yao says if you meet him in the next interview say hi to him because she wouldnât answer the question.
But like a bad penny, SY has now hooked up with an older man that took her home from the bar and see Lin Yao eating alone. She tells him that she sees an old friend and goes over to his table. She starts goading him by asking did SAA make up with her ex-husband. She asks how SAA and how he is doing. He tells her everyone is fine. SY tells him to tell everyone she said âhi and that she is doing really well now. Very good. She regrets what happened in the past. Regret. She wasted her youth on RYM.â
The guy that is seeing SY tells her that he canât go up with her tonight and for her not to be angry. She asks even for an hour. He tells her that he has paid her rent for 6 months and maybe next time.
As they both depart a van appears. They snatch up SY. Guess who that isâŚTHAT GUYS WIFE!!!
She tapes her mouth, straps her in a chair and tells her she has never seen someone so shameless and disgusting that she wants to vomit. She tells her that she canât believe he even wants to be a couple with her. She then tells her it seems that no one taught her how to behave. (Let me be clear, this woman is not even playing, she is ready to beat her up in the worse way. You reap what you sow!) She tells her how she can pay the price for her mistake. Let the beat down begin.
They threw SY into a dirt pile. She says he lied to her, and he had a wife. I mean this woman kicked her ass! She is struggling to get to her phone but passed out. SY is on a ventilator and in the hospital. They tried calling the numbers in her phone and got no one. They said they will have to wait until she wakes up. Eventually, they get a hold of SY. The doctor informs her that her left eye is injured, her lower lip is torn, accompanied by multiple fractures such as ribs and fingers. (I told you that wife jacked her up!) The rest of the bruises on her body were fortunately none that hurt her organs. She pays for the doctor bills and tells them that after that day she doesnât want to see her again and to take good care of her. She looked in on her from the doorway then left.
Boring part: WH and the baby and WH ask SAA to teach him how to make dumplings for RF.
Finally, Lin Yao and SAA have a talk after he comes to the house. I had to take this all down so you will know how serious this man, Lin Yao is. Lord, this manâŚtoo much!
SAA: âI havenât seen much of you lately. You..â
Lin Yao: âI have something to tell you. Itâs about us.
SAA: âNow.â
Lin Yao: âYou bought a ticket and asked me out that day, but Iâm not sick. I just donât want to go there all of a sudden. Iâm afraid when I see you, Iâll ask you questions that you donât want to answer. But if I donât ask, my heart will be blocked again. Iâll ask you one last time. Are you still afraid to love? Itâs because I donât have enough confidence in you now. Thatâs why youâre still scared.â
SAA: âThere are some things that need to be taken slowly.â
Lin Yao: âTake your time. Thatâs how I comfort myself. Take your time, but this process is too torturous. I just want to know, if youâre not afraid, will you seriously consider our future?â
SAA: I just want to say, if feels good and comfortable to be with you. Iâm really afraid to go further. Because Iâm afraid that if I do, Iâll lose everything. If now you want me to tell you that I love you, or promise something, Iâm afraid I decided on impulse because I was lonely. That would be unfair to you. Every minute and every second of being with you, Iâm very happy. But I really need time to be sure. If you insist that I answer now, well, I donât know.â
Lin Yao: âOk, Iâm willing to wait. I hope you can have me in your future. I respect your choice. Thank you for answering me sincerely. If youâre note scared anymore, you must tell me immediately. No matter what the final answer is, you will never lose me.â
He walks away after saying that as SAA watches him. Oh, was that a speech or what? Give it up for Lin Yao! He goes to the bar and just has a drink and thinks about meeting her and what they have been through so far. The next day he goes to the office and get this. He deletes her number, and he leaves!! Yes, he leaves and doesnât tell SAA nothing. Gurl bye!
SAA goes in the next day looking for him. She finds out from the acting manager that he is gone, and he left everyone an email. She then goes to see his mother. She doesnât know where he went either. She said he likes to be alone to think things through and he will be back when he figures it out. Nope, we didnât forget about SY. She finds out that her sister paid for her bill, and she wonât be back or see her again. She starts crying and wants dumplings. These damn dumplings.
Episode 24
She watches the video from Lin Yao who basically tells her that he has run out of energy. He canât do it anymore. He told her that this time for her to give him some time. He needs to charge up and he will be back soon. All his work has been arranged. She doesnât have to worry about him anymore. During this time, he said he wonât contact her again or call her. He said he is afraid that if he hears her voice and sees her face, he afraid that he will get his answer. That answer he, does not want to know. He told her he is has a media platform account that she can reach out to him if she misses him.
SY is still going through her drama and gets kicked out of another place. She is just doesnât have anyone after all the bridges she burned. Just rolling around with her luggage. I mean honestly, what did she expect.
Lin Yao is still staying in touch with SAA by sending postcards, video clips, and a leave that he wanted her to smile when she thought of him, a leather purse but the seam was crooked and a chocolate bar. He told her if she ate a piece, she would know how he felt right then.
SAA went to his office and just stood there looking at the empty desk thinking of him. She is told someone is there for her and she thinks it is Lin Yao, no, false alarm it is RYM. He brought her flowers. They go for dinner, and he tells her what a success she is and how he watched her video overseas. He asks her why she is smiling, and she says âLin Yao.â He asks her how it is going, and she tells him good.
No baby yet. RYM is spending quality time with Xinyi.
SAA is missing Lin Yao a lot. She finally makes her decision and tells him to come back. Lin Yao loses signal, and he starts walking across the street and gets hit by a motorcycle. Yes, he does. I couldnât stand it. After all they have been through.
But all is not lost, he is now in a coma, and she doesnât know where he is because he didnât respond. Now I donât understand why his mother didnât know he was in an accident because he is her closest relative, and you would think they would contact her. Then she should have let her know. She has no idea where he is or what happened to him. Annoyed!!!
They are doing this program âonly time in your lifeâ and interviewing people. LY asks SAA does she have anyone she wants to invite, and she says no one. She asks about Lin Yao, and she says she hasnât heard from him. LY says they have to find him.
RYM digs out their wedding rings and reminisces.
It is the night of the live broadcast. They say there is a special guest there for her. As the lights go to the doorâŚ. you will NOT guess who is there, it is not who you think it isâŚRYM!!! Not Lin Yao. I was like what? I thought he would make it there but nope.
RYM starts talking and I thought here he goes trying to get her back, but he switches up and says he is helping a friend. Go to the video of Lin Yao from the hospital. YES!!!! I was too excited. He confesses his love and everything. She is crying and runs out to go to get a flight to go to him. LY asks her isnât she going to stay to see who wins and she says no. It is time she took her step to him now.
Oh, you wonder what happened to SY. She wheeled over to stand outside SAA house and admits she has created too many problems and she wonât be bothering her anymore. She has grown up and wheels away.
The ending does not show you SAA and Lin Yao together only her running which I thought was lame.

Let me tell with all the kissing that this fine, fine Li Jui, did I would have LOVED to have a full version which was longer. Those kissing scenes, can we really just talk about them? This man is fine as hell. The FL and him, whew.

Episode 19
SAA goes to see Lin Yaoâs mother who is a psychiatrist, and she explains to her that Xinyi is the one that is not understanding the divorce between them. The parents have decided to divorce by Xinyi is the one that needs to understand why. She tells SAA she needs to have a conversation with RYM.
Lin Yao goes to visit SAA and takes a tent and has a big bear that he plays with Xinyi. Lin Yao talks to SAA and explains to her that everything will be fine. He uses an analogy of plants even if the look dead, they can be re-rooted and come back to life.
Chen is getting ready to put on a fashion show. He doesnât like the outfit, but the assistant tells him that is what LY picked. He told her she isnât here anymore and to change it.
SAA calls RYM and ask him to meet her to discuss Xinyi.
Chen has his fashion show, but he makes a sexist comment, âMany men, mainly me, are willing to pay for the beauty and sexiness of women.â Ok, and you are an ass!
Lin Yao and SAA have a conversation and she is basically telling him that she will need to spend more time with her husband because of Xinyi. Now, he has to get it together because this is her way of letting him know what he faces if he wants to be with her. Not that SAA and RYM have any more feelings, per se, for each other but they still have to interact because of Xinyi.
Then RYM shows up with Xinyi. Lin Yao calls Xinyi over and they have another cute exchange. RYM thanks Lin Yao for taking Xinyi to the hospital after SAA told him. (Well, you know Lin Yao isnât going to back down to that sideways comment.) His response, âIâll take good care of Xinyi and SAA, in the company.â Now, both SAA and RF are looking. RYM response back to Lin Yao, âNow our family is going to go have dinner.â (You know RYM was trying to dig one in on Lin Yao. Then you have RF just smiling. Honestly, I canât stand her. She gets on my nerves because she wants them to get back together and she just doesnât understand that no matter what, SAA will NOT get back with her brother.)
Lin Yao drives home and is visibly upset thinking about SAA and RYM together but what can he do.
RYM, SAA, WH and RF are all having a nice dinner with Xinyi. But SAA is just concentrating on Xinyi and not RYM.
SY sees on WH âMomentsâ the picture of all of them having dinner. She picks up the resume of RYM and tears it up into little pieces and throws it up in the air.
LY watches the negative comments that Chen is receiving after the fashion show due to his sexist comments.
Chen decided to hire a PR firm to calm everyone down and bring back the image for the company. The female PR firm tells him to apologize. He fires them. The male PR firm disagrees with him apologizing which he immediately jumps on that those are his sentiments too. Their solution is to get a popular female program to sponsor. This will show he is supportive of women. (You know where this is going right?)
Chen tries calling LY because he wants SAA to be that program.
LY show with SAA is a hit. The boss tells LY what Chenâs company wants and she tells her that she will not decide but leave it up to her.
RYM, SAA and Xinyi are headed back to her house.
Boring part: WH discovers in the trash can pregnancy results for RF. She is pregnant. WH makes her something to eat to let her know that he knows. She asks him how he found outâŚduh, you threw it in the trash right near the table. They get into an argument. She doesnât think he will make a good father. Really, she is about as bad as SY with her bi-polar self. She is seeing what is going on with
RYM and SAA and is saying that they are kids themselves how can they raise a child. This is so not good. Again, I canât stand her.
RYM drops SAA off at the studio. LY comes out to meet her. Xinyi tells SAA she needs to go to the bathroom. This gives LY time to talk to RYM. She asks him how things are going or is it a mess. She told him that she warned him that when he is with SY it is strange, not messy. What will he do next. Does he want to return to a happy family. RYM says it is not up to him. Now he just wants to be a good father and to do his duty. LY tells him with regards to work if he needs anything to let her know, she will help. He thanks her. (Again, LY I thought she would be nasty, but she turned out to be alright in my book.)
Xinyi goes with RYM for the day to the zoo.
LY and SAA walk to the studio, and she told her they agree with her revisions. Always be sincere and true to herself. (She is gaining more confidence in herself and her decisions.)
Meanwhile Lin Yao is having dinner with his mother. Talking about a âfriendâ who confessed his love to a woman who has a child. (And does he think his mother is so stupid that she doesnât know who he is talking about?) The woman asked him does he mind if she sees her ex-husband often. His friend doesnât know what to say. His mother tells him that if he likes the woman with a child, then he needs to be prepared taking on this difficulty. Lin Yao thought that he didnât mind anything. He also thought that he had done well to be the father of a child but. (He was just thinking about what he was doing so far with Xinyi Iâm thinking.) His mother told him that after having a child a lot of things cannot be cut completely clean. They will have to do things together but that doesnât mean that she is interested in him. What other feelings does he have? She talks about what she went through with his father. He feels that it might be better to leave for a while. His mother disagrees. She tells him that he canât leave. He thinks given some space and to tidy herself up is also a response. She says sometimes this woman, might be afraid that the man canât accept her. So, she chooses on her own and ask the man to leave. She tells him that if he wants to be with her long term now this is an opportunity. This proves that he can accept her. She can be her backer. He says he has to keep the right distance. (His mother is cool. Love her responds to him.)
RYM takes SAA and Xinyi home. But guess who is home, SY!! She has her luggage and tells SAA that she is moving back in. SAA could not call RYM fast enough to come and get this crazy bitch. RYM comes flying back to the house. SAA tells him that she will call the police if he doesnât get her out. She starts talking like a baby and saying that they have no job, and he wants her to live in a place that she doesnât like. He drags her ass out. But she got a real wakeup call outside of the house when he says, âShut up! Stop messing around. Get in the car.â She was shaking because he has never yelled at her. Well, get ready because more of that is coming.
LY meets up with Chen as she is leaving the studio because he came there to meet her. (You know he is still trying to get SAA to be the female sponsor he is looking for his company to clean up his mess.) He tells her that he likes her video, and it is well done. She told him that he doesnât have to tell her that because she already knows it. (Get it LY!) She asks him how he is doing. He said, âYou know Iâm not doing well.â He tells her to take him off the blacklist in her heart. She says it is not that he is miserable in her heart. Now he is in the hearts of thousands of women, and he is very miserable. (Good clap back LY.) She says that she feels that his deep misunderstanding of women comes from her. She said that she wanted to date him. Chen says because being his woman has many benefits. (Oh, please!) The reason why she wanted to date him is because she felt that they were the same. He then says that he has been waiting for her to beg him. (I cannot with this man, he needs to just stop! LY and you know she gave that smile of hers.) Told him that he looked down on her and women, but it doesnât matter, sometimes a mistake is a mistake. You can pay for your actions. Itâs good too. Drank her drink, and just smiled again.
RYM and SY arrive to their small on the bottom of the basement apartment. SY starts again. She talks about how RYM gave SAA the house, gave her the money. Why doesnât he give her the car. Oh, then says they should just go and beg for food. She then asks him has he ever thought of her and where they would live. (Ok, letâs think about this, no matter what SAA, would always make sure the RYM was ok because that is the father of her child, plus he has his sister too. SY needs to get off of her lazy ass and stop whining about what she doesnât have and, I donât know, maybe get a J-O-B! How about that!) He told her that SAA deserves the house and then some. He tells her that they didnât have a big house when they were married, they had to work for everything. He says you have me. Are you going to take all the money from the house now? She says she has a job (and you canât get one?) and they are the ones that donât have one. He told her he will not let SAA or Xinyi suffer. She said so she has to suffer and that she doesnât want to live a hard life with him. He tells her you will have to suffer if you want to be with me. This is what they deserve. (Ok, are we all clapping on that exchange. I know I am.) She tells him that she doesnât want it. Starts talking like a baby and crazy. How she wants to take Xinyi and they can raise her. She can be her mother. He tells her that she is crazy. (Gurl is losing it.)
Episode 20
WH and RF still arguing about the pregnancy. (boring)
SAA has a good talk with RF and tells her not to be scared. She will be fine. She is pregnant and WH will not divorce her. WH is there when she comes for her checkup and sees him learning from a nurse how to change a diaper and they both learn about mixing formula. WH shows her a certificate that he learned how to be a newbie dad. (Bottom-line they both need to grow up!)
RYM goes back to SAAâs house to pick up SYâs luggage. RYM tells SAA that he thinks it would be better for him to work elsewhere so that SY will leave them alone. SAA agrees because she is tired of it. He said that he would come every weekend to see Xinyi. SAA tells him that they are the people that love Xinyi best so they both have to do their duty towards her. She just wants her to grow up healthy and happy.
RYM talks with WH who tells him about a job at least 2-3 hours away. He tells him that would be good. WH says that he thought he would get something locally. SAA has forgiven him but there is no hope for them together as a couple. She no longer has him in her heart and has started a new life.
Lin Yao calls her into the office and ask what kind of contract she signed with LY. Itâs a cooperation contact of the show. Lin Yao says that means thereâs no exclusive contract, so she can take the endorsement. He wants her to shoot a commercial and be a spokesperson for the company. He is going to send her the information. If she gets it, she has to treat him to a meal, for a month.
RYM is doing dishes and SY comes in. He tells her if she was going to be late then she should have let him know. She was taking a cooking class. (For what? And again, RYM has to pay for that and arenât they trying to be frugal?) He asks her if she is really going to cook for him. She says she has to for Xinyi since she will be her child. RYM tells her to focus more on a job. He is not fighting SAA for custody.
Xinyi asks SAA if she divorced her dad. She asks her why she ask her that question. She said she is living in one place and her dad is in another. (Now, why didnât she just say yes.) She tells her that he is moving for his new company. To me her explanation was lame.
Lin Yao and SAA are going to meet a client, but they are going to have dinner together first.
RYM is meeting with a potential employer for a new job. He says he has heard a lot of what went on with him, but he is not holding it against him. He tells him that he appreciates him giving him this chance and will get back to him as soon as possible.
RYM runs into SAA and Lin Yao at the mall after his interview. Lin Yao was holding SAAâs arm and she pulled back when she saw RYM. You could see how unpleasant it was for Lin Yao. RYM let them know he just had an interview. SAA congratulated him. Lin Yao couldnât take it and said they hadnât eaten yet and did he want to join them. He said no, he had another interview, he has had lots of opportunities lately. You could see that Lin Yao wasnât believing him.
WH is talking to RYM about the latest job prospect. He told him the money is too low. But he canât move too far away because of Xinyi. WH asks about SY. He tells her she is taking cooking classes that he is paying for. WH said he doesnât think she wants him anymore and does he love her. RYM said he doesnât care what she does on weekends, and he is just making do with it.
RYM goes back and tells SY they are moving. She says she wonât go. (Ok, gurl bye!) He will be coming back on the weekend to see Xinyi so how he will have time to be with her. He told her Monday through Friday he will be with her. She says he has to work so how will he have time to be with her. He again tells her he has to work. He said he will accompany her after work. She doesnât like that either and told him she wonât let him go. He told her if she doesnât go with him then they can part ways. (Now comes the ranting and breakdown). She tells him that he is abandoning her and she wonât let him go. He tells her he never said anything about abandoning her but if she wonât go, then they should live separately. (Like, why is he EVEN entertaining her with explanations. Dude, just pack your bags and leave already!)
OMG!!! SY does a live broadcast and talks about being the âthird partyâ when it comes to love. How people who are the third party wonât have love. She agrees. She talks about how he left everything to his ex-wife, and she is the poor woman that he left. She tells them they can scold her, but she really loves him. And he doesnât love his wife anymore. She tells how it is really hard for them now. And she really feels sorry for herself. She asks about that woman that got everything, a good host now. She has everything from fame and fortune. (Now, you know everyone knows who this is.) She then says maybe this is what she deserves. (Ya think) The internet is on fire! SAA arrives at the studio to be attacked by the press asking if the person who did the live broadcast is her sister. SAA is looking like WTH is going on. LY comes and saves her. (LY my gurl, is going to get this crazy bitch!) LY tells SAA that this is easy to take care of it is all in how she wants to handle it. Oh, snap! LY says, and the company is backing her to sue SY! (do it please!) RYM contacts her and ask her how she is doing. She replies not good. (Is that a dumb ass question or what? She is still dealing with her crazy sister!)
SAA talks with Lin Yao. She tells him that she doesnât want Xinyi to know but he tells her she may not understand. She tells him that she met RYM due to their negligence and now she has psychological problems. He tells her that she does not need to explain the most important thing is herself. He tells her that SY is like a storm and destroys everything and leaves. Just continues the cycle. SAA asks what he means. He tells her when she meets a new target, she will become a young and lovely girl again and show only her best side. But gradually she will get deeper and deeper. She will focus everything on this goal. Tie him up. But the more she does, the more afraid sheâll lose it. The less secure she is. The more you want to control each other and the more you lose. And sheâll be traumatized by her previous relationship. You are more eager to feel safe.
SAA talks about a healthy relationship. Lin Yao tells her not to worry about SY she will be fine and take good care of herself. He told her the most important thing right now is taking care of herself and Xinyi.
RYM goes to get takeout and the woman wouldnât serve him because of what was on the TV. It was them talking about his affair with SY. (They even have a picture of them.) He goes home and SY is sitting and ask him where the takeout is. He tells her they were sold out. She asks him why he didnât go to another place. He tells her to order for herself. She tells him that she is tired of takeout. (Wasnât she going to cooking classes. Cook!) RYM just walks away.
LY and Chen meet up to discuss each of their lawyers handling the broadcast the SY posted.
SY goes to get her takeout and the woman and her get into it. She just reams her out about stealing her sisterâs husband and everything. SY storms out. SY goes back and tells RYM that she wants to move. He said why, because you will still act the same way there as you are here. She says that the woman from the restaurant said that she stole him. (Get readyâŚhe said did she say anything wrong! Oh, RYM is learning now! He tells her that she is too scary, and he canât stand to be around her another second.)
Lin Yao sends a lawyerâs letter and evidence in the case about SY. He tells them that SAA and Xinyi are victims. He sent the corrected information to the media outlets and those they wanted to keep the truth he was suing them. (You have to have to love Lin Yao!)
RYM calls his sister and ask to stay at her house, if convenient (I would be telling him, donât be bringing your crazy to my house, especially since she is pregnant.)
SY is in the apartment and stayed up all night. She is going off on the deep end.
Chen appears on LYâs show and apologizes after he said he wouldnât. (See sometimes you just have to wait for folks to understand and do the right thing.)
RF tells SAA that RYM hid at his house (ok, and? Why does she really care at this point RF?)
Lin Yao and SAA go to see about her getting the endorsement for the company.
SY goes to pick up Xinyi and tells her that her mother asks her to pick her up. They are going to go have dinner with her father. Meanwhile SAA had RF to go pick up Xinyi. Now the teacher does call,
SAA but she said, âDid you send someone to pick up Xinyi?â Why didnât she say who is the person that will be picking her up or why didnât SAA offer the information as well as to who she designated to pick up Xinyi. Both of the failed in my opinion. Neither did a proper verification. Lame.
Episode 21
SY takes Xinyi to the amusement park. This little girl isnât stupid, she asks where her mother and father are. She tells her they are working, and they are going to have fun. Xinyi agrees to have fun with her.
Meanwhile RF is at the school looking to pick up Xinyi. She texts SAA as to where is Xinyi at. SAA calls the teacher and ask her who pick up Xinyi. She asks if it was SY. And she that was who it was. SAA calls SY who doesnât answer. SAA tells Lin Yao what has happened, and they apologize to the client and leave.
SAA finally gets a hold of SY (you can hear Xinyi calling in the background for her mother) and she asks SAA whatâs there to worry about. When she is in a good mood, she probably will return her. (Ok, you psycho you have my child and now it is time to go nuclear on you, for real!). SAA asks where she is, and she will pick her up. She is all up in arms because RYM didnât go home last night and threatened to break up with her. And we all know he did, only she canât accept his decision. So, of course, she believes she was with her. She tells SAA that she has to let her feel how painful and most importantly that person you care about the most.
Xinyi is just crying big time calling for her mother. Which any mother would be anxious at this point and ready to kill someone. Because you are messing with my child. SY then turns her attention to Xinyi and tells her that she isnât going home because she hasnât had enough fun yet. She tells SY that she doesnât want to play anymore and wants to go home. SY continues her tirade and yells and Xinyi to listen to her. They will play until the door closes. RYM goes back to the apartment and SAA calls him to tell him that they are at the amusement park.
Lin Yao and SAA are on the way as well as RYM. Xinyi is still crying as SY drags her around. RYM is thinking about how scary SY is. SAA tells RYM that he knows where SY is at. Xinyi tells SY that she is tired.
Before you know it, you hear SAA calling Xinyi. Who runs to her mother. RYM, picks up Xinyi. As both RYM and Lin Yao look on SY taunts her even more by saying that SAA looks good and that she found them. SAA moved so fast, and she slapped the shit out of SY! Man, it was the best bitch slap ever until she fell on the ground. She told her you can do whatever you want, but donât you EVER touch my child again! Lin Yao just stared at her on the ground, and you could see he was fuming.
Lin Yao waited outside while SAA and RYM made sure that Xinyi was fine. SAA tells RYM that she doesnât want this to happen again. She tells him that she went off because he didnât go home. He tells her that he will stay outside to make sure SY doesnât do anything.
Lin Yao tells RYM that he has to leave SY. He tells him that he dated SY briefly and shows him the cut she gave him when he left her. He tells him that he needs to plan everything out but do it sooner rather than later. He tells him that he wonât let SY hurt them again and thanks him. Lin Yao tells him that he isnât doing it for him and leaves.
LY and Chen put their past behind them. He compliments her on the show and tells her that she found her niche. She finally agrees to open the sponsor to him. He wants to do it with her. They toast in agreement.
Lin Yao also waited outside all night with RYM to make sure everyone was safe. RYM goes back to the apartment. SY starts that damn baby talk and tells him that she made breakfast. Oh, and she is had not cooked any other morning because she messed up now, she is trying to get him to forgive her. He doesnât say a word. He just grabs his case and starts packing. SY grabs her case too and starts talking stupid talk.
SY blocks the door. He tells her he paid the rent for two months, gave her a credit card with all the money he could afford, and she needs to get a job. She needs to learn to stand on her own. She is whining that she has nothing. He tells her that she scared Xinyi but wait, she still doesnât believe she did anything wrong. He tells her she can do whatever she wants in the future, take her clothes off, cut your wrist and take medicine. You can cook for anyone you want. Suit yourself. They have to separate.
He pushes her out of the way. He tells her to take care of herself. She complains basically that he took her youth for that little bit of money. RYM still walks away.
Now this is sad, RYM tells Xinyi that he is leaving and that he will visit her as much as he can. He of course eats those dumplings for the last time. As he is getting ready to leave, he thinks about their life together. He asks her for a hug one last time. She gives it to him. You can tell he is upset. It is so sad that everything they had was destroyed. Xinyi comes running out one more time but gives him her rabbit to take care of him while he is away from them. Aww, man, you will feel tears.
The endorsement SAA has to justify her position because Lin Yao is taking the brunt of what happened with them leaving to go get Xinyi from crazy SY. They donât think she will be a good spokesperson, but he put him in his place with telling him that she is a modern woman. Even though she is a mother, she has a lot going on and she will handle and has handle everything that is thrown her way. She gets the endorsement.
RYM settles in his new job and his boss is still asking him about going overseas. SAA is thriving as is LY. All is good and we are not seeing SY anywhere.
But no sooner than you say that she appears. Donât ask me how she found him, but she did. She follows RYM back to his place and the security guard stops her. They are company dorms, and she canât get in. She takes a picture of the place.
Lin Yao and SAA go to pick up Xinyi from his mother. She goes to see her, and she drew a picture of the family and even included Lin Yao as her friend.
RYM is talking to WH about going aboard. He tells him even though everything is right it is too far away. He wants to be close to his family. WH tells him that he has changed. He asks him if he isnât jealous of his situation, meaning Lin Yao. He says he has no right to be. If the person is good and right for her, he will be fine as long as SAA is happy. He asks about SY and if he heard from her and he says he hasnât.
Episode 22
SAA is in the Lin Yaoâs motherâs kitchen cooking, and we have some seductiveness going on by Lin Yao. He tells her that he can clean the vegetables and of course he needs to get all close to reach for them. You go Lin Yao, playerâŚget your girl all excited. They have dinner with his mother and Xinyi. He finally gets her to hold his hand under the table. They are too cute. He asks her if they can tell others about their relationship, and he tells her she isnât ready. Again, he says he is willing to wait. Gurl, how long you going to keep making him wait. Give him a little more, please.
RYM has a good talk with Xinyi and tells her that they know both have to be honest with their mother no matter what.
SAA is sitting at home alone since RYM has Xinyi and she calls him. He asks her if she misses him, and she finally admits she does. They go to buy flowers. As they are at the childrenâs store too, they run in LY who she introduces him. LY says that he is the one that is secretly picking her up. He says she is she is quite cute. She asks him what he said. He asks her if she is jealous. Well, you know they get interrupted because RYM brings Xinyi back early. RYM ask Lin Yao if he wants to watch the game and he says he does.
As they go outside, RYM ask him to take care of SAA and Xinyi since he will be leaving. He asks him if he really likes SAA. He said that he likes her a lot. He asks her if he is sure that he really likes her because he is young and there are many temptations around him. He doesnât want SAA to get hurt again. Best comeback by Lin Yao, âIs it your age that makes SAA hurt? No. Itâs your behavior.â YES!!!! Tell him Lin Yao. He summed that up big time!!! RYM didnât have anything to say but admit it was his actions that hurt SAA. Lin Yao says they are on the same side with what they both want for SAA.
Xinyi calls Lin Yao and asks him to help her at school for a handicraft project because RYM canât be there. He says he will. Now, that was cute.
Here we goâŚSY has moved into the dorms where RYM is at. She starts blowing up his phone until he cuts it off. The next day his boss tells him that he has a new girl that they hired to work with him on a project for two months. He hears the heels. Guess who it isâŚ.SY!!! OMG! He looks literally sick! That damn smirk on her face.
Xinyi looks upset thinking that Lin Yao wasnât coming, and he does. They do their handicraft as all the women gossip about him and how handsome he is. They want to know where SAA found him and where is SAA. When she comes to meet them. She tells the women that her and SAA have parted ways. SAA and Lin Yao take Xinyi to dinner.
RYM calls his boss and wants to talk to him. SY is frantic the next day looking for RYM. The boss tells him that he is out of town for business and can she go. He tells her no and that RYM left her work to do. She asks when he will come back. Tomorrow, 3-4 days a month, not sure. I am so glad he told him the deal.
Lin Yao has a love note and tickets for him and her to attend a play. He asks her does she have time after work, and she says she does. Meanwhile she put her purse over the heart card that he put on her desk. RYM come running into her job. Tells her that SY found him and is working at the same company as him. He wonât be able to visit Xinyi every week anymore. He has to break his promise and needs for her to explain. SY is such a pain! He tells her that he is going overseas. They decide to tell her because he will be leaving the next day.
She forgot all about Lin Yao and what she told him about meeting him that evening. She only tells him that she needs some time off. She grabs her purse and the tickets, and the love note fall on the floor. Lin Yao comes down to her desk and thinks she picked them up, but they are underneath her chair. She never saw them. He waited all night for her.
The next day SAA comes in and ask Lin Yao why he has the same clothes on from yesterday. Didnât he go home last night. He is fuming, literally fuming. He said that he was going to the theater. She is acting so stupid because she really doesnât know that he got the tickets. She asked him did he watch the play late and did not have a good rest. Oh, he is about ready to explode. He tells he didnât watch anything.
Lin Yao goes off. I mean off. He asks her when he can be more important. SAA is still looking perplex because she really doesnât know what his deal is. She tells him that she doesnât think that he is unimportant. Then finally ask him what is wrong. He tells her that he doesnât want to see her with RYM all the time. He doesnât want to guess again and again, whatâs the relationship between them. SAA mouth is just gaped open by this explosion from him. He then asks when she will truly belong to him. Ok, the gauntlet has been thrown down. What is she going to say? Another lame excuse.
What do you think she said, âI see.â Gurl, see what? She tells him what happened yesterday about RYM leaving and how they had to deal with Xinyi. She always keeps telling him that. But I want to know, why at some point did she not call him and tell him that she was meeting RYM because of her. She did tell him that she was free. So, of course he would be upset.
Lin Yao apologizes and says he was rude. He further says he is sorry for making it so difficult for her. He tells her she is right and walks away. She tells him to wait but he tells her to leave him alone.
Episode 23
And if things could get worse, RYM calls Lin Yao and asks to speak to him. He tells Lin Yao that SY has been following him and tried her best to get close to him. She lives in the same dorm and works at the same company and that he has to leave. Lin Yao tells him that SY will not let go easily unless she really canât find him. He tells him that is why he decided to work abroad. RYM tells him that he is worried about SY going after SAA and Xinyi. He told her she wonât do that because she only needs him. He tells him that if she canât find him then she might give up.
Then RYM starts talking about he made the biggest mistake a man can make and that he is a jerk. (Well, that is a given, isnât it?) He then tells Lin Yao that he loves her and that he wants him to take
care of her and Xinyi. Why is he even asking him this? She is divorced from him, and she said they were only to make sure that he is doing his duty as a father and both of them as parents. Does he really need to go to these lengths to talk to Lin Yao about this. Leaving I get it. But to say I leave them in your care. Not feeling that. Lin Yao does promise RYM he will take good care of them and if one day she does choose him, he will be the happiest man.
And she just doesnât give up. SY confronts her boss and again ask where RYM is. He tells her he told her that he went to the branch office in the surrounding city. She said she went there, and he wasnât there. He asks her who told her to go there and does she want to work there. She told him that she only wanted to be there because of RYM. She goes back to the dorm and calls him. Phone not answering. Hears RYM's door close and races down the hall and opens it. RYM isnât there and she ask him who he is. And he asks who she is because it is his room and that RYM left and is going overseas. The meltdown is full on. She is running everywhere. She goes to get a ticket to go out of town. None were available.
RYM writes a letter to SAA before he leaves.
So, RYM puts his luggage in the taxi, and you see SY see him leaving, screaming his name and chasing after the taxi. Falls on the ground crying. Oh, well, he is gone gf. Now, what are you going to do.
Now begins the downward spiral of SY. And it is big!
Landlord is telling SY she has to go. She starts asking about jobs. They tell her no because she hasnât work at a company long enough. She gets an email about a job. She is told that the position was given to someone else. She asked why because she met the job requirements. He tells her the company reversed the tone and found that there was a big (notice they said âbigâ) problem with her previous job. She storms out.
The landlord throws her out along with her luggage. She rolls away with that and the clothes she has on. What do you do if you are SY? You go to the bar and drink your sorrows away. Then you run into a man when you are half drunk.
LY and SAA are doing guns blazing at their talk show!! I am happy for these two. Great collaboration. Women power all the way! Here is a twist, RF is now SAAâs manager. I still donât like her.
Lin Yao and SAA are getting along great. RF has endorsements for SAA, but she wonât take them unless she tries them. Reporters ask about their personal life and see Lin Yao and ask if they are dating. At this point she ticked me off, she has been hanging with him and says he is still her boss. Annoyed! They ask Lin Yao what he is looking for in a woman and he says smart, beautiful and generous which they say describes SAA. He then says if you can connect them with him, that would be even better. SAA wouldnât answer so Lin Yao says if you meet him in the next interview say hi to him because she wouldnât answer the question.
But like a bad penny, SY has now hooked up with an older man that took her home from the bar and see Lin Yao eating alone. She tells him that she sees an old friend and goes over to his table. She starts goading him by asking did SAA make up with her ex-husband. She asks how SAA and how he is doing. He tells her everyone is fine. SY tells him to tell everyone she said âhi and that she is doing really well now. Very good. She regrets what happened in the past. Regret. She wasted her youth on RYM.â
The guy that is seeing SY tells her that he canât go up with her tonight and for her not to be angry. She asks even for an hour. He tells her that he has paid her rent for 6 months and maybe next time.
As they both depart a van appears. They snatch up SY. Guess who that isâŚTHAT GUYS WIFE!!!
She tapes her mouth, straps her in a chair and tells her she has never seen someone so shameless and disgusting that she wants to vomit. She tells her that she canât believe he even wants to be a couple with her. She then tells her it seems that no one taught her how to behave. (Let me be clear, this woman is not even playing, she is ready to beat her up in the worse way. You reap what you sow!) She tells her how she can pay the price for her mistake. Let the beat down begin.
They threw SY into a dirt pile. She says he lied to her, and he had a wife. I mean this woman kicked her ass! She is struggling to get to her phone but passed out. SY is on a ventilator and in the hospital. They tried calling the numbers in her phone and got no one. They said they will have to wait until she wakes up. Eventually, they get a hold of SY. The doctor informs her that her left eye is injured, her lower lip is torn, accompanied by multiple fractures such as ribs and fingers. (I told you that wife jacked her up!) The rest of the bruises on her body were fortunately none that hurt her organs. She pays for the doctor bills and tells them that after that day she doesnât want to see her again and to take good care of her. She looked in on her from the doorway then left.
Boring part: WH and the baby and WH ask SAA to teach him how to make dumplings for RF.
Finally, Lin Yao and SAA have a talk after he comes to the house. I had to take this all down so you will know how serious this man, Lin Yao is. Lord, this manâŚtoo much!
SAA: âI havenât seen much of you lately. You..â
Lin Yao: âI have something to tell you. Itâs about us.
SAA: âNow.â
Lin Yao: âYou bought a ticket and asked me out that day, but Iâm not sick. I just donât want to go there all of a sudden. Iâm afraid when I see you, Iâll ask you questions that you donât want to answer. But if I donât ask, my heart will be blocked again. Iâll ask you one last time. Are you still afraid to love? Itâs because I donât have enough confidence in you now. Thatâs why youâre still scared.â
SAA: âThere are some things that need to be taken slowly.â
Lin Yao: âTake your time. Thatâs how I comfort myself. Take your time, but this process is too torturous. I just want to know, if youâre not afraid, will you seriously consider our future?â
SAA: I just want to say, if feels good and comfortable to be with you. Iâm really afraid to go further. Because Iâm afraid that if I do, Iâll lose everything. If now you want me to tell you that I love you, or promise something, Iâm afraid I decided on impulse because I was lonely. That would be unfair to you. Every minute and every second of being with you, Iâm very happy. But I really need time to be sure. If you insist that I answer now, well, I donât know.â
Lin Yao: âOk, Iâm willing to wait. I hope you can have me in your future. I respect your choice. Thank you for answering me sincerely. If youâre note scared anymore, you must tell me immediately. No matter what the final answer is, you will never lose me.â
He walks away after saying that as SAA watches him. Oh, was that a speech or what? Give it up for Lin Yao! He goes to the bar and just has a drink and thinks about meeting her and what they have been through so far. The next day he goes to the office and get this. He deletes her number, and he leaves!! Yes, he leaves and doesnât tell SAA nothing. Gurl bye!
SAA goes in the next day looking for him. She finds out from the acting manager that he is gone, and he left everyone an email. She then goes to see his mother. She doesnât know where he went either. She said he likes to be alone to think things through and he will be back when he figures it out.
Nope, we didnât forget about SY. She finds out that her sister paid for her bill, and she wonât be back or see her again. She starts crying and wants dumplings. These damn dumplings.
Episode 24
She watches the video from Lin Yao who basically tells her that he has run out of energy. He canât do it anymore. He told her that this time for her to give him some time. He needs to charge up and he will be back soon. All his work has been arranged. She doesnât have to worry about him anymore. During this time, he said he wonât contact her again or call her. He said he is afraid that if he hears her voice and sees her face, he afraid that he will get his answer. That answer he, does not want to know. He told her he is has a media platform account that she can reach out to him if she misses him.
SY is still going through her drama and gets kicked out of another place. She is just doesnât have anyone after all the bridges she burned. Just rolling around with her luggage. I mean honestly, what did she expect.
Lin Yao is still staying in touch with SAA by sending postcards, video clips, and a leave that he wanted her to smile when she thought of him, a leather purse but the seam was crooked and a chocolate bar. He told her if she ate a piece, she would know how he felt right then.
SAA went to his office and just stood there looking at the empty desk thinking of him. She is told someone is there for her and she thinks it is Lin Yao, no, false alarm it is RYM. He brought her flowers. They go for dinner, and he tells her what a success she is and how he watched her video overseas. He asks her why she is smiling, and she says âLin Yao.â He asks her how it is going, and she tells him good.
No baby yet. RYM is spending quality time with Xinyi.
SAA is missing Lin Yao a lot. She finally makes her decision and tells him to come back. Lin Yao loses signal, and he starts walking across the street and gets hit by a motorcycle. Yes, he does. I couldnât stand it. After all they have been through.
But all is not lost, he is now in a coma, and she doesnât know where he is because he didnât respond. Now I donât understand why his mother didnât know he was in an accident because he is her closest relative, and you would think they would contact her. Then she should have let her know. She has no idea where he is or what happened to him. Annoyed!!!
They are doing this program âonly time in your lifeâ and interviewing people. LY asks SAA does she have anyone she wants to invite, and she says no one. She asks about Lin Yao, and she says she hasnât heard from him. LY says they have to find him.
RYM digs out their wedding rings and reminisces.
It is the night of the live broadcast. They say there is a special guest there for her. As the lights go to the doorâŚ. you will NOT guess who is there, it is not who you think it isâŚRYM!!! Not Lin Yao. I was like what? I thought he would make it there but nope.
RYM starts talking and I thought here he goes trying to get her back, but he switches up and says he is helping a friend. Go to the video of Lin Yao from the hospital. YES!!!! I was too excited. He confesses his love and everything. She is crying and runs out to go to get a flight to go to him. LY asks her isnât she going to stay to see who wins and she says no. It is time she took her step to him now.
Oh, you wonder what happened to SY. She wheeled over to stand outside SAA house and admits she has created too many problems and she wonât be bothering her anymore. She has grown up and wheels away.
The ending does not show you SAA and Lin Yao together only her running which I thought was lame.
They could have at least had them together.
