Finally, caught up to 14. Enjoying the pacing of this drama. Really interesting.

Thank goodness that is settled. On to the next drama and sister.

These episodes were too much.

1. The king tells the crown prince and princess to love each other and hold true, blah, blah, blah. But hold up, why isn't he following his own advice. If he would work with the queen that would be bad asses.
2. Makes her younger brothers kill themselves, but they were all about treason. So, yeah, he had to have them kill themselves.
3. The king wasn't done killing. I was upset to see him kill the blind man. He was a valued asset to the queen, big time!
4. The queen got back by throwing out the Consort Favorite out of the palace. And check it out. She went begging the king to keep her and he was like. You served your purpose, you need to follow what the queen says, bye. I know she was tripping. She is coming back like a bad penny, I think.
5. The crown prince needs to get right. That damn black horn bow is just working him to have, isn't it? His poor aide gets such a beat down from him.
6. The queen is still all that. She is seeing that the crown prince isn't fit to be a monarch. How is that going to go to switch at this juncture.
7. WTH was that to tell the poor kid who was playing hide n seek to be locked up and starved to death. Excuse you? I was so glad to see him get killed by the daddy.

4 more episodes to go. It should be getting wilder for sure.

I am beyond annoyed with the direction they took this too. Seriously? Excuse me, where were the brothers-in-law in all of this. This better get cleared up and quick.

I knew that she was going to do that to him especially when she said go to the convenience store.

Overall, we did get a happy ending, and oh, this could lead us for longing for more, don't you think?

But I have to give some shoutouts:

Hair/Jewelry: The braiders on this drama were all that. I mean to do that hair, I get it. You all worked it out. Nicely done as well as all of the beads, ornaments, the intricacy of each look was exceptional.

Costumes: Can we please talk about those capes for Xuan Lie’s character? He wore those capes, didn’t he. Dude could fall off a cliff and still that cape was on. Every look they gave him was better than the first. JQL, her sisters, the princess and SSM, female general, all their looks were so on point. They slayed each and every outfit.

Martial Arts: Loved watching SSM and her fight scenes. It was awesome to see they let her not need a male to come in to assist her. Girl was bad ass. Xuan Lie, Shao Qi Min, Luo Zhi Zhou along with many others had such amazing fight scenes. Kudos to those who put these scenes together because we know they take a lot of effort.
