Thank you for your effort in writing the posts. Somehow they made the drama deeper and more interesting for me.

I think NJ is a bit manipulative. It’s like she intentionally feeding the media and netizens gossips about herself dating Choi Ung. She knows people will speculate about their public appearance.

The first few episodes reminds me of Run On, where they beautifully shows the struggles of the main leads in finding their own way and their worth while negotiating love in their lives. But after ep 9-10 I’m not sure anymore. Run On has more interesting story, characters and development. And yes, they actually can talk about their feelings without having to hurt each other. I hope this drama picks up again in the last 6 episodes because it has so much potential.

Agree. After the kiss I thought they will try to resolve everything that’s been unsaid. But no, they regress again.

I don’t know but I’m not quite taken yet with NJ’s character. From NJ’s conversation with her stylist in ep 8, I get the impression that NJ has a habit of pursuing the men she likes because she’s so confident that they’ll like her back, because she’s pretty and famous. Her attitude also says that Choi Ung should be grateful for her attention to him. Yes I think she’s too vain for Choi Ung.

I hope they won’t just pair Ji Ung with Chae Ran just for the sake of happy ending for all and turning into another Homcha. There are dramas where the second leads simply accept their defeat and move on with their lives without having to find replacement for their love interest ASAP.

That’s one thing that Yeon Soo always wants to hear. And he never said it yet.

What about Designated Survivor: 60 Days? It also deals with spies but heavier on the political aspects. Only slight romance though.
