My heart was captivated by Kang Haneul in this drama. He plays the role perfectly as the goofy and honest Yong Shik, also a man of principles. It’s not without reason he got the award for Best Actor despite the tough competition.

Ik Sun’s friend said that they live in the same building, not roommates. I’m guessing it’s just like a dorm or student accomodation where there are lots of people living in the same building. It’s not like they’re cohabiting. When you’re staying in a foreign country it is just natural to seek support and friendship from your own fellow countrymen.

I think the story about the liver transplant patient is only relevant to show that Ik Jun would do anything for Song Hwa. He volunteered to do it for Song Hwa’s sake.

But Suk Hyung always shows his genuine concern for his patients. Probably that’s the difference with your real life doctor, lol. Hope you get better soon though.

Did Ik Sun lie? I think she never said that her housemate is a woman. Jun Wan is the one who made the assumption.

I can really relate to what Eun Ji’s Mom keep saying, that they’re marathoners and they have to keep their stamina for a long journey. It is a marathon if you have special needs children or children with medical condition.

I had my suspicion since episode 1, because Ik Sun keep mentioning her housemate’s name without really confirming whether it’s a woman or a man. Poor Jun Wan, lol.

Lol yeah, he’s a good enough reason to watch it. But this drama is really good, especially if you like slice-of-life genre.

Where can I find the TV ratings

I love Oh Na Ra in My Mister, she’s so charismatic there and she steals the scenes. Here her acting becomes mediocre because her character is too low-key.

Agree except for one point. I don’t think FL is cute like a little girl, but a vulnerable adult who needs to be loved despite her issues.
