I really liked this in the beginning episodes- thought it had a lot of potential. But going into episode 5 (will see after I watch the next 2), I am just exhausted with how irritating the slapstick is, the over the top immaturity of Siwon's character (and he is very endearing when he seems to learn something, but he isn't internalizing it yet), poop and fart obsessions (hate this in every Kdrama), lack of communication i.e. female lead's aggressiveness while knowing nothing of why someone did something. Hope it gets better. The cast should have made this a great drama but the writing and lack of character development is grinding it down.
Where are people watching this? The site I am watching on (drama3s.com) has not subbed episode 5 and it's been days! And 6 isn't even RAW unless that hasn't been televised yet for some reason. I'm surprised it is taking this long!
Do you know anywhere I can watch all of this subbed? I did find a site that has 122 46 minute episodes, but my…
I started this but it's on hold for me. I did go to the last episode of the drama on YT where it is not subbed, and the last episode of the sites where it is 122 episodes and it is the same, I think. Maybe they are longer episodes are edited in some way?
So, the detective is the reincarnation of the teacher and the girl is the reincarnation of herself 32 years ago..…
Then who was the older detective? Detective Kang? I thought he was the 1980's teacher grown old!! But how could he be if the younger detective is reincarnation of the teacher? What happened to the teacher (1980's one)? I'm really frustrated with these kind of stories - I get lost. Hope you can help.

Oh, btw, there is something about him that really doesn't look typically Korean to me-when I first saw him the association to Samoa came to mind though I know no Samoan men!

I may try Circle sometime- I have so many dramas "to watch," we'll see! But I did think he could be better than this. I think I saw him as the young version of the main character in "Missing You," which brought him to my attention.
I am desperately trying to make myself watch the last 2 weeks of this. Acting is horrible, (but it didn't start out that way, or at least it wasn't quite so bad), plot is weak, dialogue is AWFUL, and it lost the potential it had in the beginning. The actress who plays Jung Won is stiff and awkward, painful to watch most of the time. I saw Yeo Jin Goo in the past and he showed so much promise, but in this he is either drawn down by his co-stars and the writing, or he just wasn't as promising as I thought. Time will tell. The refreshing presence of Park Jin-Joo, who I noticed in Angel Eyes, is a welcome relief and she is a pleasure to watch. Some of the supporting cast is ok. I love the actress who plays Mrs. Do and am partial to her scarves as well ;-). The writing is the ultimate culprit here- it's really a mess. And I truly am tired of this whole innocent thing- when couples have known each other for years and act dumbfounded at the thought of a kiss. Come on. Even in Korea they are more sophisticated. I can't watch that kind of stuff anymore. I realize they are sort of "stuck" in their teenage years in some ways, but still, it's grating.
Thank you SO much for recommending this-I just finished it and I adored it. I agree with your statements and I hope to see more dramas with such heart and originality. Makes other dramas seem so cliche.
I haven't had a chance to taste Japanese snacks so I'd love to try some! Currently, I eat whatever is around the house but if it is a drama I'm really excited about, I sometimes order out Korean food!
Thank you- I've been watching some of it on Dramanice-- it does have the 122 episodes-not sure what that's about but I still am watching it-- not sure if I will watch every episode or not, but I tend to come back to it when I have nothing else. Thanks!
