I don't see a problem with doing that. People have opinions of shows before they finish it, so why shouldn't they…
How is it unfair? My ratings constantly fluctuate throughout watching a show. I may start with a 9, but end with a 2. Besides, ratings are personal to each user; I rate the dramas I drop and put on hold too. My ratings express the extent to which I was displeased with these dramas. It's totally fine.
Why does everyone seem to have a problem with an age gap? Is it a cultural thing? I'm American and for us, it…
I understand. I live in a rural-ish area of Texas, so we have a lot of people with more conservative beliefs. I personally don't interact well with people who are more that 4-5 years older than me. I just find that we're too different. However, I don't really care if I see a couple with an age gap as long as it doesn't look like a parent-child age difference.

I'm sure it's different for other people, but I don't really have an issue with age gap romances so long as both individuals in the relationship are at similar maturity levels, both hold equal power in a relationship, and both are over the age of consent (my problem with Goblin). Another problem for me stems from how the couple looks together. If one individual looks old enough to be the other person's parent, then the entire relationship just gives me this icky feeling.
Also, I'm American as well, but I have rarely seen couples with more than a 10 year age gap really accepted in society. Where I live, couples with age gaps are treated politely and kindly, but are often gossiped about behind their back.
Believe me, I was also bothered by the age gap before watching this show, but my views changed when I started…
I'll take your word for it. I haven't really seen much complaints about the age gap compared to Goblin. It looks promising, and the few clips I've seen are really hyping me up for the show.
There is definitely a bit of romance but a lot less than Goblin. The most romantic thing that happens between…
See, it wasn't really the amount of romance that bothered me about Goblin, but it was more about how the romance was executed. I love cheesy romance when it's done right, but Goblin, I'm afraid, did it horribly.
I wasn't keen on the age gap either to be honest, but I have to say it isn't as apparent in Mr Sunshine as it…
Thanks for elaborating. My biggest problem with the age gap in Goblin was that the FML was just a child still in high school. People around her called him old and hell, even she called him Ahjussi. It was was just painful to watch them on-screen. I think I'll give Mr. Sunshine a shot. As much as I love my melodramatic romance dramas, I'm also a big fan of subtle romances and period dramas.
I want to watch this drama, but I'm a bit iffy on the age gap. The writer and director of this drama are the same people who worked on Goblin, and to be honest, while I loved Goblin overall, the romance was just terrible and gross. But I understand that since this is a period drama, the age gap is probably not really a problem. So here's my question: How is the romance here? Is it like Goblin?
How many episodes does it take until he regains his memories? I'm asking because I get really irritated with the Amnesia trope. Also, is there a love triangle? if so, how intense is it?
