In my pov, i would say they didn't really show us her real depression phase. The story we saw started only at…
i can see your pov. i just feel a bit misled from the drama's synopsis. i thought it was going to be about healing but healing isn't linear and in this drama, it very much looked linear. i wanted to see her get better but then crash only to pick herself back up but it wasgenerally very happy and positive which isn't bad if you're in the mood for it ig.
i dropped this. it had a strong start but the romance was really fake and boring. the most disappointing aspect, however, is the portrayal of depression in this drama. i work in the mental health sector and yes, depression doesn't mean someone is crying 24/7 but i got to episode 7 and there is pretty much zero indication of her actually suffering from depression. FL says she cries a lot randomly but i haven't even seen THAT. in fact, the drama has so far been very fluffy and romcomy that i nearly forgot she had depression.
my theory is that it's giving kdrama lovers something the industry lacks rn. the current trend for romance kdramas…
i guess so. i'm not sure if the writers intended on the fans taking it this way. judging by the title, i assume they wanted it to be about life, values, morals, etc. however, because the romance + action/thriller isn't something we've seen in a while i jumped on this drama like a hungry frog REGARDLESS of there only being minimal romance.
Why is that drama rated so high? The first episode was decent, the second boring. I dislike both leads. They have…
my theory is that it's giving kdrama lovers something the industry lacks rn. the current trend for romance kdramas is slice-of-life dramas that portray everyday struggles. if this show came out 4-5 years ago, it wouldn't have been as popular because back then, we had more options for more fast paced action thriller romance dramas. i think it's a pretty solid show. nothing groundbreaking or amazing but i rated it pretty high because this is a genre i've missed a lot in the kdrama world so it hit the sweet spot for me
I just finished watching and honestly I really liked it, but I personally feel like they could've left out the…
i feel like what they were intending on doing was having hyun soo finally realize that he is capable of feeling emotions but i think this was a major fail because he had already realized that before the memory loss. i cant think of a single good reason for that memory loss scene to be there and it pissed me off tbh. i was gonna give this a 10 but im now giving it a 9.
Is this drama about Unit 731? I just read the wiki page about this unit and i am horrified. this is definitely in the top 3 worst things i have ever learned about human history.
