The female lead needs to pick a side cos she’s clearly not able to juggle her dream job and taeseo. She should’ve at least tried harder to clear up the misunderstanding because it would hurt him more to believe the misunderstanding. Thats probably just the writers trying to drag out the emotional pay off. Overall this show really isn’t that bad it’s just very character driven and slow which isn’t everyone’s cup of tea. I personally love depressive stuff like this show.
Wow it’s so refreshing to have a kdrama with consistently brilliant episodes each week. All the other ones take a sharp nose dive halfway when they start so well 😭
I understand why they had to break up and honestly in there situations it was heading there regardless. My problem is with how taeseo is acting in the current time. Surely he would have some sort of resentment towards her at least. I’m getting sick of seeing these plot lines where the male lead is always the one doing the mindless chasing based on feelings that existed way back in the past. People change a lot in 10 years. Eun Ah obviously still has strong feelings for him and struggles with whether she has the right to contact him but It would be so refreshing to see a female character that confronts her past actions and shows her commitment unprompted by the male lead. I’m hoping the writers give them adequate time to adequately address the past so they can move into a future where they can show equal attachment to each other instead of Taeseo doing the yearning alone
EXACTLY!!! Like, did he put his life on standstill waiting for the apocalypse or whatever - he never even tried…
His withdrawn personality is a product of his upbringing and it’s realistic. I imagine him learning to speak up and fight for what he wants will be a part of his character growth.
It’s absolutely ridiculous how they chose to conclude Young ra and Ji wans relationship. They spent all this time building their romance and then they choose to split them up because they can’t date and work? Thats just lazy writing when they’ve been defying much greater pressure since the beginning
Wow the writing is awful especially since the concept had so much potential especially if they developed the characters more. I love the two main lead actors so I’m disappointed. But can we talk about how good the opening song is. The song almost felt out of place in such a cheap production. Anyone know what it’s called?
on MDL, Jeon Yu-ri is listed as the writer, Apparently she loves triangles and has a history of triangle dramas…
It’s a shame honestly because personally I think there’s a lot to like about this drama. It’s just the second lead has no personality and no reason to be a part of the story. Writers these days should know that people are getting tired of these recycled tropes that come off as ingenuine and inauthentic
As someone new to Lakorns, I personally loved this. This one seems a lot higher budget than the others giving it a less cringe feel. Being a lakorn means it has its share of frustrations but The chemistry of the leads are enough to make you stay. If you like watching the trials and tribulations of enduring true love you’ll like this.
I adore this show. It truly surprised me with its emotional and psychological depth, I came into it initially thinking it was a lot simpler of a story. The acting is fantastic (go youn jung and kim seon ho never miss) and chemistry is unmatched especially the kiss chemistry. I recommend to anyone who loves to see two characters grow together and become people they can lean on.
How is Wan Peng’s character in this? Does she get a good amount of screen time? She’s one of my fav actresses so im hoping she plays an interesting character
