How is it so far? Much romance? Any love triangles?
First four episodes were great, but it's starting to drag for me and I'm starting to get bored. Unfortunate because it started out hilarious and I really wanted to like the drama. We're at the halfway point and it seems like they're at the end of the story.
To answer your questions, yes love triangle and yes lots of romance
You know, I was just thinking this too that I'm starting to get kind of bored with the show, which is so unfortunate because it was a breath of fresh air when it started. If the endings of The King In Love and this show had been switched it would've made more sense and been understandable (not that I didn't love the ending of TKIL but Shin Won makes more sense to be picked than the king here). This guy has devoted his life to being a husband you can respect and love vs. she thinks all the king sees her as is the crown princess... I don't think she'd pick the king logically. I also might lose interest enough to drop it
It would be so interesting if Shin Won started hating the king now that he knows the only reason main girl picked the king was because due to the marriage ban, the main girl and Shin Won weren't happily married for those seven years. Just saying, writers - and it's more realistic
Okay, I just started this. Please tell me - is this Monthly Magazine Home tier? I think if I know how bad it is ahead of time, I might be okay. I started this because I really had nothing else to watch. Thank you in advance
Was looking for something to watch and sat down for 10 minutes of the first episode. Somehow I ended up finishing episode 4, it's that easy to watch. Yes, I know everyone says the end sucks, but I'm hoping going in knowing that I'll be fine. Very enjoyable watch so far
Omg the end of episode 4 has me dead. I LOVE IT. WE STAN A MLR. KING ENERGY. I hate starting good shows while they're airing - the torture of waiting every week
This is the most forgettable drama I have ever enjoyed. I honestly can never remember major things that happen - I just know I liked this drama (twice!). Man, this kdrama amnesia really works for me! Every watch through feels like my first one 😂
It does not force for a second season. They've always planned for a full 30-ep drama with two parts since the…
Same can, different label. If they planned for 30 eps, then why not just do 1 30-ep drama without the fanfare? Empress Ki was 54 episodes and didn't think they needed to split it into two parts. What they wanted was a cliffhanger and forced it to hype for "part" (season) 2. Ugh...
According to the synopsis, Hae Jin is the new client, implying that he shows up in the drama after Ji Ho, who…
My general rule is that the main guy is the one who is involved in the inciting incident, which yes means he is usually the one who meets the main girl second, but arguably he usually shows up in the show (on screen) before the male love rival. If that makes any sense 😂 However, Hae Jin is listed in the credits after Ji Ho so that makes me feel like perhaps that's not the case here. Time will tell
I would vote for The King In Love but the main girl actually chose the SML. SLS existed because he was the better choice (in my opinion!) and the character agreed hahahaha
Caught myself thinking about this drama today. Came back to say that months after finishing I smiled about it despite the last episode. Rose-colored glasses, I guess. But give it a try just for the beginning :)
I wanted to watch the drama for the cast but I hate watching bad endings. I was so excited to start watching this…
I know this is a couple months after the fact, but you should watch it - it was a comfort drama basically the entire time and I saw it while it was airing. I'd just say to pretend episode 15 is the last one hahahaha. I wrote a whole post on it up there ^ if you want more detail, but I recommend this drama minus the last half of the last episode
does anyone know where i can watch the previous version where its jisoo, idk why but i am curious to see whose…
I have no idea where to find the old version now (Ji Soo was only in up until episode 6(?) anyway), but I was watching while it was airing and I thought both leads had uniquely good chemistry with Kim So Hyun. After I got used to the new actor, I didn't mind the switch at all to be honest. Just my opinion, sorry I can't help
I think I'd consider it a happy ending. Gut punch after gut punch in the finale but it was fitting (plus a cheap gimmick to keep our leads happy hahaha)
