I don't understand the grandpa. He made Ha Won lived with the grandsons to teach his grandsons some manner and put them in their place, and turned around and told her you're trash and unworthy of the rich family if you're poor. You'd think he'd learned from losing his son. I knew from the beginning she was gonna end up with that guy. But I think she was better matched with Seo Woo.
I read all the comments before I started watching and almost ditch this drama. I actually enjoyed it. I like all the high and low moments I feel throughout the drama, just when I thought the evil bitch lawyer got what she deserved she got off, easily, but in the end FL got her justice and happy ending.
I remember watching this back in early 2001/2. Couldn't remember what it was about until I re-watched it last week. Then I watched the Chinese version back to back right after it. I still prefer the original Taiwanese version. Eventhough I hated how much more violent Si is in the original one, but Jerry Yan portrayed him better for me. Especially when he's hurt I could almost feel his pain. And Shancai in the Chinese version is too cute and not as fierce as the original one. But I like Lei, Xiemen, and Meizuo in the Chinese version better. The Chinese version is wayyy too long I had to fast forward a lot of it. I usually wouldn't watch anything over 24 episodes but since I just watched the original one I kinda knew what to expect from each episodes and breezed through it in 3 days. Now I'm gonna watch Boys Over Flowers and see if they can do better.
These short series are perfect when you wanna take a break from long dramas. The plot's decent, better than some short series I've seen. Lots of kisses. The little girl alone worth the time watching this. Little Moon is adorable!
I’m on episode 8 and I can’t bear it anymore. I could tolerate an immature high school girl chasing a guy she likes like in A Love So Beautiful. But to have a grown ass woman chase a guy even after he told her he likes someone else, and keep pursuing even though he shows no interest whatsoever, just plain pathetic. You can’t force love. I’m glad I came here before I go on too far with this one. 40 episodes of this drama will put me into depression. So good bye!
A perfect example of two unselfish people in a loving relationship. Both are independent and yet supportive of each other and always ready to sacrifice for each other. This drama is so easy to watch as there was no major misunderstanding between the main leads, and even though they had to go through some obstacles they were able to overcome them together. There were some funny scenes that I really enjoyed, especially between the ML and the FL's father. 10/10. Will definitely rewatch this one.
I finally finished watching it!! It got better after 28 episodes, yet I mostly watched because of Z.TAO. The music…
Yeah it was wayyy too long. Half the episodes would've been enough. ZTao's acting was good in Legally Romance, that's why I decided to finish this after dropping it a while ago. I had to FF 70% of the drama, and even then I skipped 40-43 as I was getting bored.
Yes FL is annoyingly needy, yes the ML is cold as iceberg. But she's cute in her own needy way, and he's just as cute when he gets jealous of the SML. Overall, I enjoyed this drama enough that I finished it in 2 days. I enjoy the main leads romance as short as it was (only the last few episodes), and I applaud the supporting friendships they all have. I will definitely rewatch it in the future.
This is my favorite drama of Xing Fei so far. It was funny when she got drunk on episode 19. And Lin Yi is so cute, especially when he's jealous of Daddi Tang.
Thank goodness for 1.5x speed and fast forward, otherwise I would've never finished it. The longest drama I've watched so far. Too many unnecessary scenes. The only thing keeping me watching to the end was my curiosity.
I filled that gap watching The Brightest Star in the Sky - not bad, although I'm not interested in the details…
I started watching The Brightest Star In The Sky, but I dropped it after episode 5. I can't remember why. Honestly even with Legally Romance I was a bit disappointed with the second half of the drama, right after she woke up from the coma. The drama lost its focus of the main lead's relationship and I missed the bickering they had when they were in school.
I agree, the first half is better than the second. The part where she rode in the bus wearing a helmet was so…
I agree. They focused on the main lead's relationship and then lost the focus on that. I also felt as if her brother's relationship received as much screen time as theirs. I liked the novel much better when it comes to the real world. I still like show more than any other recent shows for the comedy factor of it. Just wished for a better story for the second part of it.
So I watched the Chinese version before I watched this version. And I like this version so much better. Even though the acting is better one the Chinese version, but like the plot better on this one. It's so much more bearable to watch. It's funnier and lighter story line. And ofcourse there's Ethan Juan. He's like wine. Only gets better with age.
I knew from the beginning she was gonna end up with that guy. But I think she was better matched with Seo Woo.

10/10. Will definitely rewatch this one.
It looked promising in the beginning, but it was too draggy for me .
