I think people in the western countries have problem with the fact he was still in high school, not so much of the age gap. If he was in college it would've been viewed a little bit different, as he would be considered an adult. But that's where this drama challenged you. Can you pass the social judgment when it comes to love? I'm a fan of Tiffany Hsu and that's why I watched this. I applauded Edward Chen's performance here. He portrayed a playful highschooler perfectly, and at the same time I can feel his emotions of love and hurting too. My second time rewatching this, and I enjoyed it as much as the first time.
From the first breakup I had a feeling they weren't gonna be together in the end. I watched it on 2x speed orI would've never finished it. It's neither good or bad.
It's definitely not your typical romance drama. Lots of dark scenes with mental illness. In the end, nothing love and support can't change. One of the most beautiful sceneries in dramas I've seen in a long time. Best cinematography by far this year.
2ML is so much more fun to be around with, and just as handsome if not more than the ML. FL is so loud around her family, yet allowed others to walk all over her. It's a cute and funny drama, I enjoyed a lot.
First 2 episodes were the worst, having to get over ML's narcissistic behavior was torture. I can't believe people whom worship their own reflections exist. Yuck! I'm at episode 9, I hope it gets better.
I noticed on a lot of romance dramas lately, people either hate it or love it. It's sad that we can't agree to disagree. My cup of tea may not be yours. I find this one to be entertaining, eventhough half way through I was wondering how many times does she not to go back to fix things, before the story gets old. I'm quite surprise to the method she chose at the end to fix the problem, eventhough we found out in the future it didn't fix it. I like fact that the FL is not drop dead gorgeous. But I like her dimple when she smiles. There were a lot of surprises. My favorite one is the person who holds the key to the time capsule (the watch). I love the cinematography, especially at the end with the falling leaves, so beautiful. 8.5 from me. Will i rewatch this again? Probably
I could relate somehow to the SML. Introverts like us don't open up easily until we feel comfortable enough to…
Sorry, when I say "he's not as evil as 90% of you made him to be", I didn't literally mean you. 90% of the people that hate him here made it sound like he meant to hurt FL like Rong did. I think his intentions were good, he just didn't deliver it right.

Easy, tiger. Reread what I wrote. All I said was he put some efforts to pave a way for them to get close in the future. He never said she was bound to work with those companies, he was just hoping if she was to work close to his work place then they would run into each other all the time. I never defended his action for not standing up for her when the rumors about her were circling around. As we see on episode 30, he now knows what it's like to be rumored and not able defend yourself. That's why he almost text her to apologize, as he is now in her shoes. I know I'm a minority when I say he's not as evil as 90% of you made him to be. His self esteem is so low, as he stated what can he offer her right now. I dated a guy back in high-school who was so self conscious about our social status gap, he was so afraid to make a move on anything.
After yesterday‘s episodes tantrum and SML getting his just desserts with our girl telling him off, though everyone…
I could relate somehow to the SML. Introverts like us don't open up easily until we feel comfortable enough to share our feelings with others. As he explained to FL, he gave her resume to Shanghai companies close to the bank he works for so he can pursue her in the future. When she didn't show up for the job, he called her and her cousin but no answers. Then he went to the cousin's house to find out, then given the wrong information, and thought she would be gone for a while to study abroad. So, it's not like he didn't try. If only he had been upfront about his feelings for her and not beat around the bush, they might've ended up being a couple. Having an open communication is needed in any type of relationship. He failed that miserably with her.
Yeah, they probably would do better without the amnesia at the end. I like their dynamite kiss scene so much I had to rewatch episode 2 after I finished the drama.
These reviews are crazy. This drama for me was so good. Its not even that bad. fk mdl reviews. The first episodes…
Same here. I made the mistake of watching Shine on Me, I didn't know it's still airing. I started watching this to fill in the void, but I ended up watching the whole show in one day. Yes I skipped some parts, but for me it's still entertaining enough to get an 8.5.
For those on the fence watching because they dont wanna see love triangle, Go Watch It! It's obvious she's only interested in one person, I won't spoil which one. Not much romance, more bromance, but in a refreshing way. But don't understand why they make the future Go Yoo to be less attractive than Jun Hee in the future. 8.5 will rewatch in the future.
