The first half was great and even though the FL was sometimes kinda hard to deal with then, I really enjoyed it then, even as far as giving it 9.5. But slowly as Gopuri's identity became clear and the other bad guys came into limelight the plot went from mysterious to just messy.
I feel like the humor hasn't hit me anymore the last couple episodes. And the romance, they just jumped into it so quickly, when they basically hated each other a few episodes back?? Sure, they got their misunderstandings resolved and all and had a couple of moments along the way, but still for a show like this subtly hinted or a very slow build romance would've been better (or no romance at all) and given their history it would've suited the show better.
I used to look forward to every episode so much and were entertained by their bickering even when people complained about the FL, but now I'm just waiting for this to be over. I'm mostly continuing just for SIG, but I also do like the other cafe people and even the FL now, the plot just isn't doing it for me anymore.
Still giving it a 8.5 for the first half, the last few episodes have been like a 7 (and I'm a very generous scorer), hopefully the last four eps will be better.
The first drama I've dropped... I just had to admit to myself I've no interest in picking this back up from ep 7. Besides the first couple episode I just ended up feeling bored. I feel sorry since I love LDW, the show had a interesting setup and the bromance was fun, but I still ended up being really disconnected from the show.
Ep4 yet to be aired. Ep3 is out yesterday only. If you are looking for proper k+ asia subs then wait till wednesday
Oops, I was in the wrong day, I though ep 4 would already be out ^^' It's a shame the subs still haven't picked up from last week. I'm thankful for whoever is doing them, but it's at the same time frustrating when I'm used to subbed episode being up in a matter of hours with the dramas I've watched while they were airing.
Does anyone know where to watch ep 3 & 4 with subs? I don't get why this series of all doesn't have translators, the first season was so good and the 2nd is looking promising T_T
Definitely for a more mature audience If one wants action, fast paced plot, gore and jump-scared and overall dramatics that k-dramas are so fond off, this isn't a drama for you.
Instead if you want a drama that has great, natural acting, a realistic and beautifully executed plot where things sometimes take a long time and sometimes come to an sudden end (just like reality), exploration of the criminal mind and the affects this has on the ML, I really recommend this.
The 3rd episode was so good! I thought the 1st and most of the 2nd were pretty meh, but last 15-20min of ep 2 got my interest back up and the 3rd was great! LJS's acting is brilliant here.
Now this news break my heartA single mistake can ruin your whole life
Drunk driving is a very serious offence, not just a simple mistake. So many people get killed every year by drunk-drivers.
I don't believe in Korea's serious Cancel Culture and I don't think this one time offence should ruin her whole career, but I would've been seriously disappointed if they let her stay on this work. Many Korean celebrities have had to drop out of works for really silly reasons, but a case like this is something that should be reflected on a while, which will hopefully teach her to be more careful in the future.
To people confused about the age gap, it's only 4 years. The FL's undercover paper said she's 29 and the ML is 33. There's no huge age difference.
The flashback showed the FL as a teen, she could've been anywhere between late middle and early high school age. The fact that they didn't get a younger actor for the ML created confusion, but he was probably supposed to be around late high school/early college age.
I'm so confused... the FL was shown to be in Korea as a cop already before her brother died, but at the beginning of episode 11 she said she persuaded her parents to let her come back to Korea from the US to catch her brother's killer? Did I miss something??
He's one of the most handsome actors I've ever seen and looks 10-15 years younger than his actual age. I wonder will he still pass for 30s when in his 50s 😂
He's a brilliant actor, in TGD he plays a very reserved character, but he's able to bring such intensity and depth to such a subtly expressive role. TGD made me an instant fan, I'm planning on watching Snowdrop just for him too.
This man just keeps getting more handsome with age, he was handsome in The Fiery Priest, but he's even more handsome in Through The Darkness. Can't wait for Island.
if you’re like me and looking for episode 1 already, you should know it premieres on July 31st not July 30th.…
Does anyone know if this will be subbed? Maybe the subs will be up in the usual places finally after it's up in K-Plus (though I have no idea what that is....)?
