I know right? many were upset about the eating show change at first - I was unsure too - but it ended up being very entertaining. I love it when they're all together instead of split up like at first.
I really hope they will be able to continue for a long time, changing formats regularly could be a fun thing too, I think with this cast whatever they do it will end up being funny - their chemistry is off the charts.
It's my favorite variety show right now, I know I'll always have a fun time when I look up the new episodes. I'll join you in the sobbing department when this show ends.

I think it's cause so far it's a regular show, so don't know how many it will end up being.

I hope this gets a 2nd season now that it got renewed attention

Agreeing with everyone here, I'm so let down by this (based on ep 1). I was already disappointed hearing not whole OG cast is returning but still wanted to give it a try since I loved the previous seasons so much. Leaving out the opening section of them chatting and moving to the location was already a stupid move, those sections were so fun and built chemistry for the cast. Then the escape itself, feels completely scripted, moves too fast, the new PD doesn't know how to build any kind of suspension, there's no humorous moments either. I was bored the whole episode.

I'm gonna try to watch the other episodes later and hope they get their groove going, but have no exceptions anymore.

Oh how I dream after this the old PD somehow acquires the right to make a new season with the whole OG cast, but I know that's an impossible dream.

after his schedule being constantly full of new dramas for some years now it feels so weird to not see a new project to look forward to... well he deserves a good rest

Maybe, I haven't really watched clips to not spoil before eng subs, so dunno if the time machine is introduced as connected to the previous season time machine episodes.

The thing I hate the most about the eating show style is them having to pay, I feel so bad to whomever gets the bill when meal was super pricey. Hopefully their payment per episode is much more to cover if well if they end up paying almost 1k.

I dont think it's necessary, the previous seasons had some episodes that tied in story to previous season ones, but since this has a new PD I think they maybe won't? the previous season tied ones were easy enough to understand without seeing everything too

Turns out the guests can really make even the new format fun, after Rhymer in ep 22, Choi Daniel's chemistry with the team was hilarious too.

Only 8 episodes with such a big cast, I dont think there will be enough time to really connect with any character

Yeah, I stopped watching it after Kim Donghyun stopped appearing. Idols actors etc can be entertaining to watch in many variety shows, but the athletes facing another sport had a fun charm to it so the current cast doesn't interest me beyond the fact that they got more serious.

even if you have given up on the show after format change, watch episode 21. Rhymer and his weird luck were hilarious - I dont even know the dude besides his appearances in this show and I was dying of laughter by the ninth time things ended up... interesting fro him XD

Yeah, I just saw the trailer and noticed. Sad but I'm glad most of them are back and I liked the girl who replaced her in Fiery Priest.

So happy all the girls and the Donghyun returned, I wouldnt have been interested if it was new set of actresses and a new coach taking on the challenge.
