Someone tell me how to get over this dramaThank you in advance
Have you watched "Hundred million stars falling from the sky"? its reminiscent of this drama in some small ways, perhaps that could help if you are suffering from withdrawal for the story.. going off to watch 'The man from nowhere' errr I need more angst now!!
the ending felt anticlimactic to me, a bit too happy go lucky; sort of like an additional episode of happy romantic conclusions that didn't feel in line with what was happening, not that, I don't not agree with or nor am unsatisfied the ending, but it lacked something essential - it felt -off!!; something telling of depths?!?? : Seung mo's character was too complex and his relation with An too delicate - for the episode for it to be this light, without exploring of it a bit more,
...I know it was all shown, but the execution lacked something very big, it's rare for me not to like romance angles that too happy endings at that!, but it felt inappropriately placed,
Seung mo showed An every step of the way how to reach him, but An just moved away at the end of it(?), understandable, (they even leave Seung Mo's mother, all alone in that house(that He bought lovingly for An and himself) by herself, even though he repeatedly kept asking everyone to take care of her throughout at various points, even though he doesn't particularly say that at last but it does seems his one wish, perhaps Jae In could do that but how could An??, he could just swallow the bittersweet pill and do it as a duty just like Seung Mo did all his life! after-all to Seung Mo -An is family, and before Jae In became close to him, its vice versa for An too, Seung Mo is his ALL - still understandable! (given that his mother has had to take care of herself, by herself all her life while running)(and that its an adaptive strategy to survive the conflicting emotions on An's part -but could he have done that had Jae In not been brought into his life by Seung Mo??!!(could An have gone ahead even after a period of time passed and bought a separate apartment to live happily with others?)( could he have been able..could he face it and do the same if Seung Mo died, as honestly predicted by his mother before))) - alright, understandable!!.... but he -LeeAn, was too happy too soon, not that he didn't deserve it, but it didn't feel right.. or rightly done....
and yet Seung Mo still continues to be his Hyung asking after him, inquiring, taking note of his progress and his well being, trying to guide him to succeed even from his position now ..he seriously is the best Hyung to An, starting from that moment he meets him after the fire and takes it upon him, my heart goes out to this relation.. perhaps An knows that.
(uptil ep 15 I was at edge of my seat, my heart in disarray over what would happen but watching ep 16 I felt too unrelated to it all-if you know what I mean??!!) I just wish they had shown a bit more of An suffering though it, and coming to terms, he looked too indifferent too soon-given that it could be an adaptive strategy of the character's ..But!!
Sung Mo was the ultimate anti hero Hero for me, knowing he made unforgivable mistakes, not only amending for them but brilliantly executing his plans to lead to himself and the corrupted people, It was heartbreaking to see Sung Mo in confined place again knowing how he was born and spent his childhood in that locked up basement!! in the end was he the one who treasured his connections and his people the most! as well as most in touch and in stark -straight faced with emotions!! Ji Soo's love for him was rightly placed after all!!
however, the entire series was gorgeous!! The hero is the sweetest cutest most adorable puppy, but, the anti-hero is the one who won my heart over, tramped on, and still won my heart over again, in this one -the way you wanna hug him tight and squish him and wish his burden of pains away.. Brilliant acting by Kim Kwon(-definitely have a crush on him), and brilliant writing of Sung Mo's angle of the story by the author, the rest of the cast did pretty well as well, Jin Young was great, adorable in the first half -loved him! he was so lovable...., and so was Da Som . The Bromance was second selling point after the Sung Mo's character! Also, absolutely loved the OST from the very day one, its was what lured me in at first to watch, besides the Title and synopsis for the show, and the cute looking male leads ;) rated 10/10
100% agree on Ji Eun Tak, she was fun, innocent, hard working, cute, persevering and entertaining, I always found her interesting. Sure, she wanted to be Cinderella, but in the absence of any familial support, she felt like she had a claim(in a very cute way, albeit) on Goblin. And I never understood why she was called a bad actress by some. She nailed the character who is naive but fighting in her own way, and depends on the only person she ever found on her side, although realistically not by much as she keeps working hard, he is her genie, family, friend, guardian, savior, companion and moral support, all in one. I have seen some other works of her's, and she is excellent in them all!
Lol I feel you. I don't really care for her and haven't watch any of her series. I did try 1 but couldn't get…
Dilraba?? I like her, but what's happening, a moment ago it was someone else..Zheng Shuang. I wonder who is editing about the info on the cast here.?????

I did watch her Love O2O, I have nothing against her, she is pretty and cute, has a lovely quiet girly smile? but only expression she gave throughout the whole series in the romantic range was 'shy' , her friend characters were doing all the excitement for her and the male lead by Yang Yang all the intenseness, it was a little too ..one dimensional??!! hence my apprehensiveness.. perhaps it was simply the character, though I feel she is actual may/may not be in a closet when it comes to expressions. but it's too soon to judge, and I definitely don't wish to be harsh and regret..so!!
seeing Yang Yang here, In addition to Deng lun &Yang Zi, should only be making me happy but why is it not, I mean…
maybe I am just overthinking because of my expectations made high in Ashes of love 1, maybe she will hone on her skills and be much more dynamic, the role demands it anyway, being Mu Chi and Demon princess's daughter, as they showed a glimpse in the ending scenes, a very proactive child, besides the actress is pretty cute chap to look at, perhaps it will be much better than I am thinking.
