That was one the best mystery thrillers I have seen or read, and that's saying something.
The plot writing is masterful and brilliant.
-not the basic plot but the way of writing it
going deeper and deeper and getting absolutely no clue what was going to happen, or going on-even if I know what was what(from the beginning), yet somehow entranced, like riding a roller coaster when I thought I was only going on a smooth high ride. except the last episode(s)

however the ending..I don't even know what ..
heart-rendering..

I haven't seen the first season.. but when I was going through the searches and saw this, I thought it would be pretty cool becoz of the cast and plot..You see- I love both the actors in the main leads, and the plot summary is giving me kinda Sherlock Watson-ish vibe?? so..

I know what you mean well. I am very sorry you had to go through that, I still sometimes miss my pet, and if it helps for you to know, they become a part of you, in time..
But Seung Mo is not just a scar to An, atleast he shouldn't be only that. is what I was trying to say all along. also its about facing the truth and still trying to do the right thing....
their relationship is more complex than for him to run away/or about face on it like that, if he came back after a while I wouldn't rant so much perhaps, but its like he is leaving it all behind, and his relation with his hyung wasn't something he should/would turn about completely from, knowing how he was all along before/ he wasn't just a scar, he was his only family, and he is alive, and perhaps waiting for him all along.
I understand their dialogues while meeting later show the delicateness of this matter, but his actions afterwards don't IMHO.
he could go ahead and make a new family freely, and forget completely of his old one, if his hyung was a toxic person and continued to make ppl suffer still, and I would only be happy with seeing that -I would even call it growth, but he wasn't, he wasn't for a long time now, instead he was a protective source of strength and support for all the people around him, (all the while keeping a calm head on his shoulders-well, mostly) even while carrying his baggage of guilt, suffering, fear and pain. He more than deserves a second chance, to be missed and treasured and cared for, even if not completely forgiven??!!..

anyway its just my personal opinion
I will end my ranting, I enjoyed this series, thoroughly, but last episode could have been much better, I just needed to get it all out of me.
For anyone wondering, the very fact that this needed so much of afterthoughts, means on my part that this series and the characters were that good. so don't hold back, go ahead and watch it, you probably will enjoy it, just as I did.

absolutely, that is what I am saying about An, and about Sung Mo and An established Hyung dongsaeng relationship, why was it completely disregarded and thrown away as if it didn't matter at all?? I felt pretty repelled by that, when it was one of THE most central parts of the plot, I mean literally everything and everything starts and develops from there. I have nothing against Jae In and An's relationship or others, I was even rooting for them, but in the face of how things were shown I have too many qualms to be able to enjoy their happy fluff bubbles, not that I didn't want it!

Jung So Min, I don't know..she just looks fitting, at first look, and for what you described.

IKR! this will sound harsh but buying the apartment to move in with others was the last straw for me. I couldn't anymore with the overly fluffy bright and improperly placed romance.
