I lowkey want to watch this, the plot sounds interesting and the cast is great, but I very rarely watch pure horror…
I watched it through covered eyes and it still managed to scare me. Now I'm going to watch it again someday as I have many horror movies under my belt now. If you are planning to watch it, I'll warn you that the jump scares are really scary and terrifying.
Having not watched episodes 3 & 4, I can't really comment about them, but I guess the fighting scenes were toned down because of first season's controversy. I wouldn't exactly say controversy but as the stunt double didn't match Lee Je Hoon's body, there was quite the criticism.
And for the romance part, I personally wouldn't like romance, although subtle romance would be fine. And when I mean subtle, I mean almost non-existent.
Also, I thought as the first season was based on the webtoon, the second one would be too. Is that not the case with the second season?
@InaBalerina I second your comment. With the silly sound effects in almost every moment, reminded me of the thai dramas which overuse them. Also, some of the comedic moments seem to be forced.
Personally, I find both second leads annoying. I would rather watch Jung Won Chan's character Jo Shin Woo than Kang Young Seok's Jeon Kang Il as the second lead.
TBH I'm thinking of doing the same. The story seems inconsistent, the editing is choppy, the characters are, I…
TBH I'm not sure why they ruin the mystery in these types of shows. This is only my third filipino show. First being "The Killer Bride", which I strongly recommend. Second "Wildflower", which I am yet to complete. And third, "Darna", which I dropped because of the poor script. I guess it's because they have a lot more episodes than a kdrama, so they tend to ruin it. But I have seen kdramas who naturally have less episodes than a filipino show and they still manage to ruin it. But also, I do tend to get over critical.

I don't know about them targeting young children and teens. No offense to the show, but I've seen cartoon shows which are written consistently. It's like they spent all their time planning the show, but didn't write the script properly. And this being the new generation Darna, they shouldn't have overlooked that. Everyone is critical about the quality of the shows they watch nowadays. But as an non filipino, I can't really comment on how it is doing there. Also I would've really liked it to watch until it's end. The acting is really good, the cgi doesn't bother me, but what really ruins it for me, is the poor script.
Although I don't find him attractive, I get you. And no that does not mean anything lol. I found Nam Goong Min's…
Haha, I guess. I've seen some clips of NGM as Nam Gyu Man and he is really crazy but don't really like the main leads, so I decided not to watch the drama.
You don't really see a loving father-son relationship like this. And step siblings rarely get along like them, let alone get accused for a crime their step sibling committed.
Yeah he wasn't the bad guy, nor was he a creep. Just that he gave some pretty serious vibes of a psychopath but it was an act. His bond with his father and stepsister was really beautiful. In my last comment I was also including other characters who were psychopaths and sociopaths in other dramas.
Got the chance to watch the first episode yesterday. As usual, NGM charmed me with his acting. It was not as funny as Chief Kim, but I enjoyed it. Cheon Ji Hun gave me vibes of his previous characters, Kim Sung Ryong (Chief Kim) and Do Jung Woo (Awaken). The FL reminded me of Han So Ra from Eve, but obviously, not as crazy as her. She is competent in her work, but as all the other female characters are portrayed in male centered dramas, does not have an open mind. The first case reminded me of Ishiko to Haneo episode 4. Looking forward to seeing more cases. Although I'm a bit surprised that there are only 14 episodes.

I selected a GIF file as my profile picture.
