Watched the first episode and oh my God, what a strong start. This might become one of my most favourite kdramas this year if it will remain consistent.
I adore Yoo Bo Na and her family already, the actors have amazing chemistry and nothing feels forced between them. This child actress is sooo adorable too!
The cinematography is very good, the close-ups and slow-motion parts really enhance the action and comedic parts. I appreciate how the drama blends action, comedy and mystery together, while maintaining a good pacing. Looking forward to watch the rest of the episodes!
I watched the first episode today and I can't believe that people really complained about the concept being too complex. Isn't this supposed to be the point of stories like this? To challenge you and make you think critically and out of the box? If you can't handle it that's fine but don't spew pointless comments.
I read the webtoon last year because I wanted to be familiar with the story before I watched the drama. The first episode was hectic to say the least but I found myself enjoying it much more than I anticipated. It seems like they have changed some things compared to the webtoon, so I'm curious to see the direction of the plot and Jiwon's decisions in the drama.
Once again, this comments section proved that not all dramas apply to everyone and that's totally valid. But please, trying to reason about the drama's length is beyond pointless. I promise you, this drama would have been really bad had it been wrapped in 12 episodes or less. The climax needed a proper built-up and that wouldn't be possible if the length was shorter. This is the same excuse many people say about Monster, the anime, that it's too long, it has many fillers yada yada yada, when that is simply very untrue. Every episode serves a purpose, just because the drama doesn't have much action that doesn't mean it should have been shorter.
People who hate on Sun Young would never be able to handle Urasawa's characters in Monster, it's all black and white for some of you, sometimes people make mistakes or are pushed to difficult situations. Direct the hate to someone else.
