Sigh! It has potential, I read somewhere that the FL isn't annoying so I gave it a try.Unfortunately, it wasn't…
I made it to episode 5 before dropping. The plot wasn't bad so far but the FL just annoys me. Not really sure how to explain it but she acts like she has the right to know or do anything. She helps people with the expectation of something in return. Her ego leads her to take illogical actions that shows that she's incapable. Her superiority complex causes her to avoid properly explaining her reasoning to her peers about the true suspect; instead of being alienated and having her grow as a person, a new "genius" character is thrown in the mix to support her. She feels she has the right to know everything as a person. Instead of slowly supporting them and safely drawing out their repressed memories or secrets, she just barrels in with no concern about their feelings.
Yeah the start of episode 9 tried to evoke pity for him, and the last scene with him picturing his previous teacher…
It would've been perfect if someone else killed the teacher and he's forced to take the blame because of his bad reputation. He chooses to give up and completely become the bad guy; kind of a "you can't fight against the bad environment you live in".
Currently halfway through episode 3. Doesn't this all seem convoluted? Couldn't the father just apologize and slowly reconcile with the family? It was never about the money, the father was selfish and inconsiderate; he took far too many risks for a financially unstable family with 2 kids. Even now he's being emotionally selfish and is ignoring the suffering the family had to go through without him.
I get that it's a story but I'm not able to shut off my brain enough to wrap my head around this plot setting. Might drop this after the 4th episode unless the MDL rating jumps pass 8.0
you know what I was wrong she is annoying both in present and past
She had a few good lines but overall it's hard to even consider her a supporting character. I thought she'd be some interesting character as the living connection between the two MLs but really she did nothing than chase after LJH. She didn't really do much to help PHY either beyond agreeing with his actions - in a seemingly noncommittal way I add - and maybe taking some blame.
Seeing all the comments bashing the female lead is like a guarantee I will enjoy the drama lol.It means she is…
I thought the FL would be some awesome cop with her intro scene and supposed backstory that led her to join the worst police division. Instead she's shown to be impatient and stubborn about the wrong things; even when she's right, she still messes it up. It's not even blind trust in the system - which could be passed a naivety - it's blind trust in her own opinion without any acceptance of opposing thoughts.
Maybe it gets better but this is an 18 episode run and I can't get past episode 7 without any growth to show for it.
The ML is playful and also headstrong but the writing clearly shows his intelligence and abilities as a leader for his little cafe team. His character is better designed and the plot is written to support him. The FL has no real impact and the plot could easily function without her. This is just bad writing with a meaningless checkmark for "strong female character".
one of the main issues in this show is definetly the main FL breaking so many laws while she's supposed to be…

Is QOT really that good or is it overrated? I haven't started watching it yet but from reading some of such articles,…
My opinion as of episode 12. I think the best part of the show so far is that it's not overdramatic. There's no sudden event that flips the show completely nor some cliche random case of amnesia. Every part seems to have a clear cause and effect, and each major event meaningfully drives the plot forward. Each character sticks to their profile and acts as we expect they should. I'd say the quality matches CLOY and the results should be close; albeit QoT might have the advantage since I think the number of Kdrama viewers has increased CLOY was released.
This is the last time I going to comment on these:Those who keep comparing to PMR, what about reborn rich, go…
We got a number of the "both go back in time without the other knowing" plot line recently with PMR and Twinkling Watermelon so I think people are just a little tired from it. I got no problem with time travel, it's about how well the rest of the story is written around it. While it's not copying, we can't help but compare.
I was right afterall, he changed his clothing style to becomes more handsome. By the way, I really don’t like…
If the story was told from the ML point-of-view, it wouldn't be that weird. Lots of creepy behaviour in stories are justified by being the main character
I not really a fan of "don't commit suicide or you'll be punished for all eternity" stories as they tend to focus on fear instead of trying to support the person while they're still alive. I liked the FMC's line in the 4th episode and I agree it's better to have a desire to live than it is to constantly be in fear of death. Depression and self-loathing is a scary experience - it's easy to call the MC selfish but it's hard to understand how he felt being stuck alone inside of a well of self-doubt he couldn't escape from. Why did he commit suicide? Why couldn't he find help? Why didn't his girlfriend slap some sense into him when he broke up with her? Why didn't his mother take the initiative to visit him first? So many decision are made in life, it's hard to know what your actions or inaction could result in. Fighting for survival every day is difficult and you can easily feel alone in this world - unable to even consider other people's feelings. The MC's death is a blameless one, no one is at fault and that just makes it all the more difficult for those still living. This first part of the show has been well directed, well written, and well acted. I hope that there is a happy ending but just like the MC, I too can't see how that's possible.
I think he knows the truth how park yeon woo died in previous life . Like someone in his family has told him that…
The grandfather doesn't seem like someone that has an interest in history or historical collections so it does seem weird to have a room dedicated to it. Since it's all related to PYW and considering typical kdrama writing, it's likely some sort of curse.
Only gripe about episode 5 is that KYJ should've fallen and then Song Kang should've caught her while in the air. It's weird to me that Song Kang didn't just push the assailant away with his powers while he was hanging onto the railing since he was already holding KYJ's hand.
I don‘t know, seems like a lot of fuzz over nothing. Not like the production company got any added value out…
Fortunately no damage was done but that doesn't mean it was the right thing to do. The designer probably put a lot of effort into producing these designs and to also reach the level to participate in the Milan Fashion Week. People definitely make mistakes but it doesn't mean that the mistakes should be ignored just because we don't all understand the significance. The person clearly referenced this designer's work for use in the show (which earns revenue) without asking for permission. I assume that if the designer were less known, their work would've just been taken for granted.
Watched a single episode and I'm already expecting the assistant to come back and steal the FMC style and become famous as a photographer. The start felt kind of lame but I feel like a number of dramas with Shin Hye Sun's start slow and slowly build up. I think this one will have to be put on the back burner for now.
The episode 11 kiss that we all waited for and loved. On second viewing, he does nothing. She runs to him. She…
I think they just suck at dating and that this is their first romance; I can excuse it since the romance did take a bit of a backseat. I think it was mature of Woo-Hak to step back for his brother as Mok Ha clearly showed no interest in him romantically. I liked that he instead pushed his brother to be more clear about his feelings. I did not like the lack of a confession from Bo Geol. While it's nice that Mok Ha already realized all that he's done for her, it kind of took the wind out of Bo Geol's planned confession. I would've liked at least some romantic words from him instead of just actions that could've easily been played off as guilt from her going missing if the writers had decided to go that route. Would've like some romance with Lee Seo Joon and Yoon Ran Joo as well. Switching the songs without discussion, betting the shares, and "I don't want to be a complete scumbag" just seems childish. Something like removing his cold-hearted obsession over only caring about the business's success and wanting to properly support Yoon Ran Joo would've been nice.
Wow, Yoo Se Hyeok getting stuck with Han Yoo Ra. I would've liked if he had gotten a redemption arc as a main character to contrast against Yoo Ra, Jung Wook, and Jung Hye. I guess bad people should be punished and he technically got what he originally wanted but in the worst way; seems like it'll be a life of regret. The ending was proper but it felt like a let down when compared to how well written the entire show has been. I almost feel like Jung Wook should've died as the one life ending instead of the two of them like the shaman was saying. Do Guk being called out and Jung Wook perfectly timing the kidnapping just seemed too contrived. I really liked that Han Jin Woong and Lee Ji Won did not get back together as their past relationship is impossible to recover. It's nice to seem the reconcile instead and move forward to support their daughter. As far as I recall, Yoo Ra is the only one who knows about Jin Woong not being her biological dad and he has little reason to cut her from the family. Jin Woong not doing anything to support his pregnant daughter (despite the evil mother) kind of shows that he's still a horrible father. Lastly, while the creation of a charity foundation is nice, I would've liked to see Han Yi Joo running the art gallery and maybe with her own pieces on display.
Also, what if the reason he died early in past life was due to his stepmother poisoning him? He seemed pretty alright…
TV makes things dramatic but realistically a heart condition isn't going to cause someone to cough up blood. If the present people are meant to represent the past, it would make sense for the step-mother to have poisoned him so that she could ruin Park Yeon Woo's family. I don't think the step-mother knows about the heart issue (both in the past and the present) so when PYW mentioned it in the past during the mourning period, the step-mother had her killed to keep it a secret.
Did I miss something? Did she get the surgery or not? They made it seem like a big thing but nothing came of it. Also, why would they let someone who randomly faints in stressful situations become a surgeon?
now i am curious that , i think that maybe both ml and fl died that day as the car in the crash was black as well…
That's the way I see it. They either have to find a way to change their lives around or they'll just ending dying again on that date with no justice being served. Both of them kept quiet and hidden about too many things while the people around them schemed for their demise. Now it's time to take what's theirs.
